Matt from Diesel Creek is a regular at Richie Brothers, I am a big fan of his channel. Yes, there's usually a reason why the machines in the inoperable section won't do anything, I picked up on that. Looked like a fun time, I'd love to spend time on that completely demolished military wrecker, it does indeed look like something that Whistling Diesel had some fun with. I have too many subscriptions already, but I gotta add you too 🙂
Hahah 😂 maybe just a lil… but my hair is getting a bit longer than his lol. hope all is well with you buddy or should I say andris camarata😊 and u can call me diesel darrell hahah
The thing on the back of that digger truck with the card board hub cap is a hydraulic compactor / tamper that is used to compact the dirt around a newly installed power pole that that truck would have installed! Im looking for one for one of my trucks!
That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure as I was editing, I saw your truck videos and watched them all I wish I could have picked this up for you brother! Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel brother and watched your repair of the old mower and Goldwing. Nice work and good content/video (or haha at least for me). Man I was just telling my wife "Hey honey, you have to be thankful we dont have a Richie Brothers yard auction like that near us". She laughed "thankful...haha". I'd enjoy walking around and checking out all the "will it run" or "should I bid on it" items. Heck, just test running some items would be good time. Anyways mate, good stuff. Keep it up. cheers
Thank you for walk around in yard. I have seen people REMOVED those cranes on those military wreakers. They just use them stationary, Bet that crane system would still work. I loved those older military crane wreakers.
Another comment on the Marine Corp CASE track loader 😊 I started running those type of loaders back in 1979 I lover the track control drive system. The 850-B we had on the mainline sewer job, was the fastest for running Pea gravel to excavator. That power turn of those was a very fast working loader.
Like a kid at F.A.O. Schwarz. So many neat toys. My vote is for the military crane truck thing that rolled many times. Your skills and some paste wax and she would be like new in no time. You would need a Sikorsky to get it home but you like a challenge. I'm amazed you knew how to start and operate all these different things. A very interesting tour. Fun times as always.
On most joystick operated machines, there are only two control patterns, ISO or SAE. Most operators know both but prefer one or the others - typically you can switch. So at least on those machines, you can usually operate it even if you've never seen it before.
The cardboard hubcaps were to hold in diff oil. In order to tow by wrecker they remove axels so as not to damage transmission. That truck must have been towed in.
For that machine to have 36,000 hour it would have to run for 8.42 years 7 days a week for 12 hour shifts. Hour meters especially digital have a decimal point. For example 356.7. If you don’t read the point you would read that as 3567 hours.
Hey man! Cool auction! I don’t know if it is your video or UA-cam but the chapter listing in this video was really weird for me. Looks like they were taken from a gameing video or something! Some examples: 05:03 Rescuing Makarov (AKA Russian Ben Shaprio) 07:36 “I wasn’t in that Tank” 09:47 Open-Combat Missions Made me really confused! I guess it is a UA-cam problem but maybe you can check what your automatic chapters are called. Anyway, take care!
Re:Pressure washers, those Pressure Washers you saw were over priced China junk..Build your own. Get a Harbor Freight engine, a General Pump, a couple of pulleys and cart and set up a belt driven Pressure washer. Could probably do the whole thing for under $800 and it will do 3 -4 GPM @4000 PSI or more. Make for a good video too..
hahaha dude I wanted to buy that military crane truck so bad but I couldn’t find it in the Dang catalog anywhere. How have you been? Are you still doing that TV thing? I hope you and your wife had a great honeymoon by the way
@@TheHomePros6221 2 weeks ago they said it was looking really good for me but haven’t heard back since 🤷🏻♂️. Just tryna get my shop together so I can start working again
I think you saved yourselfe a headache with the bobcat, even though it was 5k. I have only seen problems with the bobcats so more money to parts and downtime. Some vintage Yanmar or takeuchi excavator would be nice!

hahah thank you very much my friend!
You needed to buy that big rolled army truck if you can get tires for it. Cutting the cab off it won't be too difficult it has a rag top.
That temperature is for tamping the dirt back in around a telephone pole after setting it.

Well I’ll say that I actually tried buying this however I couldn’t find it or any military vehicles on the auction site
Too bad, that would have been a good one. I will look forward to seeing what you did get.@@TheHomePros6221
well it’s not that special of a buy but still kinda cool I would have rather bought a military machine

@@ckm-mkc yea I’m use to John Deere or ISO controls like my IHI has a lot of the machines here had SAE controls so they were harder for me

You are correct sir
The inoperable stuff is way more fun, as long as you can get it for a good price.

Actually those were pretty good quality I think they are American made and they are heated, it’s the same one Andrew camarata has
Literally every part and vendor you mentioned uses Chinese parts. 🤦♂️😂
It looks like whistlin diesel got ahold of this thing. 🤣🤣🤣
lol
Hydraulic tamp. Set poles then tamp dirt back in hole. Tamp on line truck.
C’mon man. Everyone knows that was the infamous wire stretcher.
Call you two guys the tire track kickers and Could wear the heads off of some Jefferson’s.
