Is there a way to stop it from making noise when setting it at night? Like the noise it makes when ya set it to leave the house, it makes the same noise when we do our night time setting. Is there a way to make that bit silent? Just annoying when one of us goes to bed and the other one goes up a few hours later and then sets the alarm and it beeps so loudly when arming it wakes the housemate up.
Hi Mike, this is an engineer programmable setting. If you use Partguard A or B (0#7 or 0#8) at night then there is a setting in the enginering menu to turn the buzzer off at night. If this is a system installed by us we can talk you through changing it otherwise you would have to contact your system installer. I hope this helps.
Pity there isn't a function to turn off that infernal fault beep... My phone line is faulty and as a result, this stupid alarm has been driving us mad all day and now we will have to spend the night away from home, just to get some sleep. It's either that or smash the thing to bits.
@@yvonneosiejak3809 you can but its having to disarm the alarm, then 10 mins later you will get this fault beep, at which point you need to enter code again
DMC Line Fault is indicating that the onboard modem/communicator does not detect a phone line connected. A system that was connected to a phone line is no longer connected or the line has been disconnected. You will need to contact your alarm company to sort or get them to turn off Line Monitoring in engineer mode.
Hi Francis, you should contact your installer to find this out as it depends on make/model. Typically the backup battery is approx 6 inches x 2.5 inches x 4 inches, so it’s hard to miss when you open the main control panel. Sorry we can’t provide detailed instructions on battery replacement as there is a 220v mains electrical supply within most panels, making it potentially lethal for someone inexperienced .
How do I find the password in the site setting menu as I need to add a new phone to the alarm

@@devidodge I thought you just had to enter your master code and the beeping stops?

Where is the battery located in panel?

@@CentaurAlarms thanks for your reply. I only saw the item name DINUY (8v-1. 0amp) in the electric panel.
