Worked on most panels but not HKC , not a fan of wireless sounder used to work for a company who fitted pyronix kit and the biggest issue was with RF faults due to lack of battery replacement on maintenance visits.

Never had a problem with HKC. To that end I’ve fitted them in North Wales, Gloucester, Coventry, Birmingham and 2 in Paris which I maintain from my phone. Change the batteries every 3 years and they work. No ifs, no buts.

That’s what I’d heard about HKC suppose it’s like everything keep on top of battery replacement and it works fine .
Unfortunately my last company had some very shoddy engineers who did as little as possible so glad to be gone from there 👍

Hkc are great systems but the quantum 70/90 isn't a great panel from my experience with them

Can’t fault the technology. Never had a fault. Looks are not the best. The quantum looks like it’s been beaten with the ugly stick and lost. But they are 100%.

Yeah quantum panels are rather ugly. The issues I have had is the psu inside failing. Haven't had the issue happen to my 10270 panel but it definitely was a strange thing to happen. Hkc is good kit just mostly a bit ugly. But if it gets the job done well then it's fine. I prefer orisec or pyronix now for systems as most other manufacturers aren't very good anymore (texecom, scantronic etc).
