Both machines pick up a bunk of wood and osb but only one lets me get out of the cab when I have it a foot up in the air. That roll up door is worth its weight in gold
After doing some research on to SVL 75-3 I find you to be full of BS. When I run across a salesman like you I just turn around and walk away. Everything you talked about can be undone. Even the lifting.
I can pick up 2 bundles of rebar no problem with my 75-2 is about 4,500 lbs their is bias that 75-3 will make u throw rocks at that 317. Tight cab no leg room and out swing door is for the birds 💩💩💩
Great video but your a little late to the show. Kubota svl75-3 has lockable door, available counter weights , radiators on top now, fuel tank in rear , one piece cab, touch screen, bluetooth, keyless start , adjustable track response, higher lift capacity, air ride seat , quieter cab , new roll up sealed door, added vents , back lit switches, led lights , radio built into screen, windshield washer bottle now mounted in front , new ac , heat controls. So everything you talked about has been addressed plus more
The -3 does not have adjustable track response. Same pilot controls as the -2. “Improved lifting capacity”? Bro its the same machine mechanically. It would need a heck of a bump in power to do what a 65 HP Deere will. Why would you need counterweights if the machine is too weak to pick itself up anyway? But then again, I’d expect that from a guy that doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re. Spelling is hard bro.
SVL75-3 received closed center hydraulics and you can do multiple functions at the same time. Run a closed center machine and you won’t like an open center system.
I just traded my svl-75-4 in for my Deere 317G. Funny seeing this video after I traded. My kubota was a dog compared to the Deere. Like seriously no comparison. So, sorry to bust your bubble but I’ve owned both and yeah…no. My kubota never had a counterweight issue. It ran out of hydro power. I’ve learned that from kubota is that they “derate” their hydraulics so u can’t push the machine I guess. Idk but it’s stupid when the dealer sells shim kits to bump your hydro pressure up at the counter and is a “hot seller”. Only problem is it voids your warranty and it’s a pain in the butt to do. Even after doing the shin kit it didn’t compare to the Deere. Especially in pushing out a load of stone or dirt.
Really weird how you chose to being in the svl 75-2 instead of the 75-3. So much of the negatives youve claimed against it are resolved with the update.
This video is dripping with bias. Makes me discount all the points since any product when compared to a competitor will have pros and cons. As a consumer I want to see fair comparisons. This video makes me think the kubota is actually better and a jd salesman is trying hard to prove his product is superior.
Well I got to say the man definitely called Kubota out. Now he wasn’t comparing the latest model. Most of these issues have been addressed. Also I didn’t hear a $ comparison. He’s a JD dealer he should stand behind his product. If Kubota wants to shut him down then fire back. I love a good mud slinging head to head fight amongst brands. 👍
Very good point regarding turning power of the two speed Kubota versus one speed Deere. Hard to stick a pile hard with 2nd gear on Kubota, so if your really hustling, one speed Deere easier to run especially for new operators. Great video!
This would be great if the Kubota SVL75-2 was still being manufactured. Sounds like someone couldn’t get their hands on the newest model for this video.
I get the bias in the video, but everything mentioned is valid. One thing I don't like about the deere is the inability to open the door while boom is raised, but I'm not crazy about the kubotas overhead door. I've seen reviews where it doesn't seal, making the cab very loud. Another thing, I can imagine how all the dust sitting on the door must dump right into the cab every time you open the overhead door. I'm really digging that deere!
I love these videos.Obviously pro Deere. But the new dash 3 Kubota's are again re-engineered better than the dash 2's.I think both machines are good machines, but Im bias,i love Kubota.I could care less about how much it will lift in a dead lift.I want resale, parts networking, fit and finish, and turn key on a job.I do believe Kubota has greater ground clearance on the deere? That matters. There's also a reason why every dealer compares there equipment to Kubota,it's the GOLD standard.Just say'in.Oh.yeah,those swinging doors vs overhead, you tell me?Also,is Deere pilot or EH?Pilot, way more economical for future issues of repair and downtime. The more bells and whistles, generally the more issues for the future.Keep it simple.
Kubota got me 4 years ago on price. When I was using my equipment around my house it was a no brained but once I started my landscape company I learned very quick that kubota just doesn’t match up to other equipment brands. They are wildly under rated all the way around and absolutely basic. Yes I’m spoiled now as we own cat, ASV, and Deere was added this year in our equipment lineup but I couldn’t be happier leaving kubota last year. Sometimes you just don’t know till you know. Deere so far as taken the cake on all the features, capacities, and responsiveness. We’re certainly Deere fans for now
As I'm sure you already know the 75-3 fixes everyone of your beefs plus more room in the cab. I haven't operated a JD skid steer but I doubt its any smoother than the new 75-3. I'm good with my new 75-3. ( and don't forget never to open the door to your JD unless your machine is parked)
Deere service is hands down best in class service and sales. I haven’t been to the dealership for a year because of I need something my sales guy brings it to me. If I need service they come pick it up so I can keep working. And when the dealer needed my machine to set up security codes, firmware update, and something else they brought a machine to my work site, traded out my machine with a loaner skiddy, took mine and brought it back and took the loaner with them. I mean seriously!!! Get that from anybody else.
Compare it to the SVL75-3? I think most of your complaints or comparisons are solved. Kubota uses a hydraulic over hydraulic joystick and closed center hydraulics. I like Deere and Kubota but do your own research don’t listen to a shady salesman. Especially a salesman that according to him Kubota has nothing better to offer than John Deere! Closed center hydraulics are far superior as are hydraulic over hydraulic joysticks! When companies compete we the consumer win with better product. Most people will not max out the lift capacity of either matching. If you are then get a bigger matching! Don’t give into the BS.
So what do they actually cost and why not compare a SVL 75-3 since thats the new Kubota model. Good video, just skipped the part that matters to the majority of people buying. $$$
I prefer the deere myself, BUT, the electric attachment latch is way inferior to a hydraulic one. My son in law has a 333G and it doesn't have as much power as the hydraulic and moisture from water, snow, and mud burn it out frequently. It's too harsh of an environment for an electronic gizmo. Get manual or hydraulic latches.
Best way to gain credibility as a salesman is to admit the positives of your competitor. 100% bias and one sided is the typical used car salesman approach.
What a great video! Next we need the John Deere 317G vs. the Cat 259D3, now that would be a cool video to watch. I have always been a fan of the 317G and I ran one for years, very good and durable machine!
My gosh! Why would anyone purchase a Kubota? Clearly their engineers should be jailed! I'm glad I found such a trustworthy source of information. It was like watching a Saturday Night Live skit. What joke. I'd rather just hear you promote why you think your unit is better rather than listen to you tear down your competitor.
Great video. I’m definitely getting the Deere over the Kubota. Hands down. However there are a few available options on the Kubota that can be installed… You can get an air ride seat, keyless keypad start, and ride control. Again. The Deere is way better but I just wanted to note a few corrections for you.
this is not a fair comparison because you are pro deer. And it is a biased review. there is a lot that you said negative about the Kubota and was simply not true. It has more vents than just one. I have a brother that has a Kubota and it is not bad unit at all. I do agree though deer is a better unit but you need to have an unbiased review and this ain’t it. Not everyone has that much more money to spend and if you only use it for residential use Kubota ain’t a bad u it. Both Great units overall.
It's funny that Kubota is being called the budget option against JD in the tractor world. The JD tractors that are "higher price point" units are plastic junk. I'm not even a Kubota fan, but that's a bad take.
Sodo u have any comparisons between the old iron ? Say like a bobcat? Or a Case 90 Xt ? Case 450 ,ASV ? Come on man , you would like to sell a new design machine with trinkets like a cup holder and a radio ,but those things don't add to any of the performance of the machine . Yes they are new and improved and very impressive, however they all rely on electronics now that are incorporated into all manufacturers. But with the supply chain braking down and fears of Taiwan being invaded would mean that a new owner is dead in the water if something blows up. So does John Deere make just a simple all mechanical skid steer ?
Typical John Deere salesman, doesn’t know a lick about Kubota. The SVL75-3 runs circles around the JD machines. It’s the number 1 selling machine in the US for a reason. Superior engine and maintenance compared to the JD. Make that SVL75-3 video please 😂
You are really selling that deer when you do comparisons you’re posted to just show the difference and let the people choose and four a machine that’s built and manufactured in the US it sure is expensive so are you really taken care of of the people I don’t think so
The only reason you would have to pick a Kubota out of all manufacturers to pick on is because they out sell and perform. Another thing 10 months ago the svl75-3 was out so use it for your comparison. I’ve never felt bashing another to make you feel good about your machine is a good tactic. Rather than telling me how bad the Kubota is tell me the good things that would make me wanna buy a Deere. Terrible video
😂😂😂😂what a joke are you kidding there is pros and cons of every brand in the end we are going to purchase what we decide on not what someone is telling us can get that on a 😂
Both machines pick up a bunk of wood and osb but only one lets me get out of the cab when I have it a foot up in the air. That roll up door is worth its weight in gold
That overhead door is the reason I put a Kubota at the top of my list of compact track loaders to purchase. as an owner operator it is a must have.
Now I really want a Kubota. Not understanding why he didn’t get the SVL 75-3?
After doing some research on to SVL 75-3 I find you to be full of BS. When I run across a salesman like you I just turn around and walk away. Everything you talked about can be undone. Even the lifting.
He already did.. look for the video.
Great points raise the boom. Up 2 feet and shut the machine off and get out. Ooooo can't do that on a Deere
I can pick up a 5500lbs jersey barrier with my Kubota SVL75-2. Guy does his best to put it down.. but kubota makes a great machine
And you can pick it up a foot and still get out of the cab. Fuck that swing out door
I can pick up 2 bundles of rebar no problem with my 75-2 is about 4,500 lbs their is bias that 75-3 will make u throw rocks at that 317. Tight cab no leg room and out swing door is for the birds 💩💩💩

@@joshtarver6488t does have a control response speed adjustment. I am a cat guy but the new Kubota-3 is a nice machine.

He just made a new video with the newer model kubota... still a crappy machine and you'll see why.
This video is dripping with bias. Makes me discount all the points since any product when compared to a competitor will have pros and cons. As a consumer I want to see fair comparisons. This video makes me think the kubota is actually better and a jd salesman is trying hard to prove his product is superior.
I mean, it looked to me like everything in the video was visible. I think there is bias too, but every point made in the video was visibly shown.
Everyone knows John Deere has not made tractors in years.
I think he was angry at the shirt his wife made him wear.
Its ok if you like cheap crappy machines...🤷♂️ the guy just showed you why deere was the better product. You get what you pay for.
Well I got to say the man definitely called Kubota out. Now he wasn’t comparing the latest model. Most of these issues have been addressed. Also I didn’t hear a $ comparison. Thank you so much!
Second gear on the kubota is only for long travel
Trying to say one speed is better? 😂
John Deere has priced themselves out of the market…by a lot!!…absolutely insane prices!
This would be great if the Kubota SVL75-2 was still being manufactured. Sounds like someone couldn’t get their hands on the newest model for this video.
Or they didn't want to.
He did not too long ago. kubota still crappy.

It seems kind of weird he used the last gen of Kubota for comparison.
he couldnt get his hands on one or wanted to make the deere look superior. funny guy
I throw spears sometimes but I like this guy too.
I guess it's obvious what franchise Everglades Equipment Group has. Is the SVL 75-2 being manufactured anymore?
good video, comments on the door were weak. Got me looking at Deere again while shopping this round
