Can't wait to get one out on my rental fleet. Kubota definitely sets themself apart with Hydraulic over Hydraulic controls and a fold up door. Hopefully they never get away from that. But I can say if they would, they should consider building extra models Like a Deluxe models with those electric controls to meet that demand. Kubota really doesn't many skid steers in there line up compared to other Brands. They build a ton of different models of tractors.
Kubota did a fabulous job on the new 75's.There's a reason all other manufacture's compare there loaders to KUBOTA.There the gold standard.Takeuchi is not far behind.Just say'in.
Takeuchi are either great, or they’re absolute piles of shit. We bought 3 brand new at work a few years ago. 1 we still have, and haven’t had issues with. 1 had constant issues from the day it got delivered. And the other was hit and miss, it’d go months without issue, then bam would be in the shop for weeks.
I have the new svl75-3 its a smooth operating machine. Half the noise of the svl75-2. Mine had a issue with rear door leaking they put a new door on it and i can still see light through the seal.
I love the fact that because it's under 75hp it's DEF-free, but is there a forestry mulcher that pairs well with the SVL75-3 without being underpowered?
Really appreciate pilot controls. I run them all day most days in wheel loaders, but my employer has an E/H CTL, and it's just a nightmare to operate. I've operated a few, from a few different manufacturers, but of those, the E/H (Cat and Wacker) were far and away the worst. Even Gehl, which has a steep learning curve and most people I've talked to find too jumpy I found VERY preferable.
Great video with good information. You are a great interviewer and speaker. Who writes your script and how much do you practice. Do you have a blooper video, that would be fun to watch. Again, you do an awesome job and you have influenced my purchase of a SVL62-2. I love Kubota, and have three other machines.
@@MessicksEquip I think all of your videos are great and very informative. I genuinely appreciate all your knowledge and take your advice on equipment, parts and machines., I will have to look for the bloopers. Keep up the great work, and thank you again
Great review Neil, does it have an hour timer that you can reset manually like a trip odometer? Does it have any antithetical systems and or gos locator? Lost if them get stole in my area. Does Kubota plan on offering longer 0 percent apr than 36 months? Thank you
Coming off a 323e, I noticed the drive power is definitely less on the 2023 75-2, like sometimes its just not going to make it, but auxiliary hydraulics is noticeably greater. The clunking front idlers can get annoying, hope they figured that out. Controller is noticeably better than my older deere, can move a quarter inch easily, deere isnt even close. Wish It had auto idle, would think any modern machine would have it. And the auto level needs a turn off switch, don't always want it, but I'm happy with the 23 75-2 overall, personally not interested in the touch screens on equipment, simple is best!
I own a svl75 2016 model which is absolutely fantastic but I'm wondering if the new models seal better than the old models as the cab leaks extremely bad dust and in turn the air conditioner does not work. Will Kubota be putting out a 97-3 and if so will it be a sealed One Piece cab
Neil another video said the SVL75-3 had open center hydraulics just like the SVL97. I think they meant closed center. But either way does the 75-3 have closed center hydraulics like it’s big brother (SVL97)?
There’s a spot in the video where you say there’s no adjustment for response speed on the lift arm hydraulics. I just want to clarify that you don’t mean that you cannot gently lift or lower (or tilt) when the situation requires?
its been in the skid steers for several years now. Only down side is that when the tank is full, and your parked on a hill, its pretty heavy to swing. Other than that we love it.
I still don't understand why why Kubota won't make a small track loader like ASV and Bobcat or a small articulated loader like Bobcat. Its not like Kubota doesn't have the engines for them.
Too bad they won't produce a larger forest mulching machine to compete with ASV with 135 hp and 50gph high flow along with the components to protect the operator and machine in that environment. Kubota could make alot of money since ASV is "6000" units behind with a year of wait time. If Kubota had 3000 such machines sitting on the lots they would sell them IMMEDIATELY especially if they made them $15,000 cheaper than As which they should be at least anyway. How much is $110,000x 3000 for instance ??? 3 + billion I think without getting out some paper. I think they have dropped the ball . They could then also make whatever profit is on the mulchers , cutters and other attachments. Oh well.
What's the deal with the gating on the left stick? It looks like an EH gate. Pilot controls would, by default be rotated 45 degrees from square because in order to turn, you are slowing down one side, so moving straight sideways from full forward or reverse doesn't mechanically make sense. EH sticks handle this with software mixing that effectively creates semi-dead corner, where movement across the corner affects track speed, but the last 50% of movement in or out of the corner does nothing because at 50% stroke, one track is already calculated to be going full speed by the mixing program.
We just bought one and picking it up tomorrow.. can't wait. Like a new toy, that will make us money
Great video Neil! Spot on about the right to repair and how manufacturers can actually make those screens to help owners, not limit them!
If I ever won a lottery I'd buy one in a heart beat. I'm just starting a small business . I build my own tools!
That is the best review I have seen on one. I want one so bad.

Machines are built, but over time it is being a long-term development. A verry nice machine.

rear door? rear window?

When it comes to mulching, you will always want more. A disc style mulcher will give you some more headroom.

I have very little need for one of these, but I’ve wanted one for years. 🤷🏻♂️
Very nice kubota. Just wish I could afford them.
Great demo Neil!
Would Kubota ever make an brush fire variant for fire companies instead of using IH tracked tractors like i have seen near Hanover pa
Don't forget kabota insurance is fuckin amazing

Yes on anti-theft and GPS. I don't know future financing terms, but I'd guess not in the short term.

dose it have multiples job clocks what ground clearance
With the pressurized cab, can it be made hepa tight, like a sprayer tractor ?
It's pressure positive like sprayer tractors are, but it wouldn't have the same level of filtration.
can you turn this like a z-turn mower. one stick forward and the other back ?? And you are right about DB's for a 3 DB change the volume is doubled
The energy is doubled with a three decibel change, It is only barely noticeable to the ear. 10 decibels is doubling the apparent volume.
Radio is standard on the enclosed cab option
Also what is control over control hydraulics? And is it low and high flow? Thanks
Little white tank under the fuel tank? How do I access the refill
Neil is that the reversing fan part of the cold package
Yes
Ummmm.....Neill....your music selection????? We need to talk😂😂😂
what music, didn't hear any was listening to what he was saying
Did they fix Dirt Perfects dirt funnel around the rear hydraulic rams?
Yes

Yes, the cab seal is vastly better
@@MessicksEquip hi is it possible for you to answer the rest of my questions about the 97-3 please
@@roberteldridge6524 97-2 already has a sealed pressure positive cab. I don't know an ETA on a 97-3.
Kubota recommends kicking up the rpm on their DPF machines - will that make your controls more responsive?
I heard run most hydrostatic equipment at higher rpm
@@wizard_of_poz4413as far as I’m concerned, they should be ran at full throttle all the time and the foot pedal should be a deceleration pedal.
@@csaa1980 which foot pedal?
@ the throttle pedal
@csaa1980 ive only seen a few with a throttle on the floor because it seems counterproductive

the controls are butter smooth, but they are not adjustable.
@MessicksEquip are you saying that you can't slowly raise the bucket?
@@daveshepard1296 no. You have great control over the bucket. You can't make the control more or less sensitive.
so Kubota switched from hydraulic valve systems to electronic, hydraulic valve systems?
No, still hydraulic over hydraulic
@@MessicksEquip Thanks! that's what I want. The electrical delay on alternative brands would have me all messed up feathering attachments etc.
Hey Neil, any idea how soon we might be seeing the -3 treatment on the SVL 65?
No idea, but I'd guess it can't be long. The announcement would be in October.
Loved my 75-2
The roll up door not sure why everyone else went away from it but then I don’t mind it rattling away all day
Because the rattle with drive you crazy, and they either fall down constantly, locks break, or the track gets broken. I CANNOT stand them.
I want one. Just need to convince the wife I need one (probably not going to happen).
Careless Whisper
Why doesn’t Kubota use the KSR from the wheel models?
I'm not sure if i like the fuel tank on the rear door.

Small track loader coming soon , has suspension undercarriage. Small loaders dont sell well. 10k and higher wheel loaders sell , kubota builds them
Curious how much costs over the last years model
+$1150

Messick's I know you're a Kubota dealer but what do you thank of the new CASE MINOTAUR™ DL550
We sell the new Holland version of that machine, it's a beast. Way bigger than anything Kubota has to offer. There are videos on our channel about it.
@MessicksEquip Thank Neil, I will check it out . Have a fantastic weekend.
Be nice if you give out the actual numbers of everything that has been increased not just the %
How much does the reversible fan add to the cost?
What is the current lead time from the time you order one?
Unfortunately, still hard to say. All depends on how fast Kubota builds them.
How much does this unit cost?
MSRP currently is $68-80,000
how much ? 60,000 ?
What price range is that skid loader in? Great video Neil.
I bet it's over $80,000 just for the machine.
Ranges from $67,00 to $80,000 depending on the configuration you choose
I just received a quote in Wisconsin. High flow machine $72,946.64.
Now that’s sweet
Id have one if they didn’t fade 2 months after purchase
does not happen any more. paint formulation changed several years ago.
Who else now has careless whisper stuck in their heads?
😂 I wouldn't have picked Neil to be a Careless Whisper kinda guy, but there you have it! No judgement here though!
