Well I have spent over 5,000 hrs in a 333 deere skidder and I have zero complaints except for the pins wear out quite fast for me it takes about a year. Looking forward to the 335P.
This video is basically: let's point out all the good and bad things about the CAT and exagerate how terrible everything is, and make everything seem like a real drama and inconvenience..... Next lets point out all the good and bad things on the DEERE and egagerate how good it is! Bias at its best 😂😂😂😂
Maybe it’s because he has a lot of Johnndeere in his yard he’s trying to get rid of Lmfaoooo…..people are so trickery and try to be sneaky when it comes to “sales”….they’ll do anything 💀🤣🤡
A forestry package on the cat does have the guards over hoses under the tracks and cat has two hydraulic motors one for machine one for attachment John Deere only has one that drives both
1:50 That is not all it's got, for a guy who thinks he knows these machines you don't know shit. As you pull back that handle, engage that little switch on it, for the hydraulic switch. I guarantee it will lift that. I've ran those cat machines plenty enough to know that. Get to know the machines before you compare.
When a Cat is ordered as a counter weight machine from the factory. It actually has a higher lift capacity than a machine without weights. Its not explained in the brochure . But a good tech or salesman will tell you the relief pressure are different. There is about a #1000 lifting difference between a weighted spec machine and none weighted. Machine in the video was none weighted.
Adding rear counterweights increases the tipping load of the machine by increasing stability. However, they will not help the hydraulics going into relief!
Why not talk about price? Perfectly fine topic. We have cars and trucks from Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet that consumers have that are over $100,000. As a consumer, who just bought a skid steer for private use, Price is a consideration.
Ill put it this way I bought a 331g for $97k and a 333g was like $106k for the 299d3 xe it was $124k and for the xe landmanagement i believe it was $145ish k
Say what you want about the lifting... but the exposed hoses and areas... have had those break on many of the Case and Bob Cats, and the 1 Cat had the same problem
Two Issues: 1 - Why would you keep pricing so secretive? Pricing is almost the most important topic in comparing brands. 2 - Charlie Crockett is fantastic.
Being a operator for a few years, i know John Deere is stronger but after so many hours of doing that, the boom will be wore more than the cat machine. I got a lil experience with the backhoes. After 500 hours the back boom on a Deere hoe will be loose compared to a CAT. .
Well. You know. In the toolbox provided with the machine. There is a white cardboard box, inside there is a grease gun… You should use it. I am pretty sure yours still in the box or you even have lost it.
Ran them both the jd had problems with the pins falling out of the bucket we fixed it and it kept doing it then when your moving dirt you lose it and the jd people say ya we have problems with that but we'll sell you a new pin the cat 289 good machine in my opinion the old case 1845 1840 good machines for sure the old bobcat 743 853 Melrose good machines as well just the tire machines beat the hell out of you bouncing around the track smoother I recently rented a new bobcat and the guy says we need to ger renter insurance because there is a fitting that comes lose and it my catch fire no bullshit they said that. As far as them hoses on the car takes about 30 minutes to change or replace so mechanic friendly. Then a company I worked for looked at a fly ash machine once again brand new plastic on the seat wurton from jd brand new the the ac didn't even work in it so they bought the cat one for sure true story man. Nothing against jd but you'd think after buying a 80thousand dollar machine theyed give you a new bucket pin nope it only cost a few hundred dollars
The Deere does have more power and lifting capacity but wears out sooner and burns twice the fuel and probably 4 times the amount of def, speaking from experience that is a huge difference if you are operating 10 to 12 hours a day, just some food for thought
@@dan__________________ not if you know what your doing yes it may be a little slower but not a drastic amount, compared to the double or triple amount of fuel consumption and the resale value. i was just adding this comment for anyone on the fence. They are both great machines but if your an owner operator and you can cut your fuel bill in half why wouldn't you.
@@DigorDie29 Highly doubt that it's even a measurable amount of fuel difference with almost the same displacement engine. Speaking from experience, the guys with Cat's fill up just as often as we do with the Deere's.
My Deere techs help me over the phone and print me off all their manuals and test procedures so I can do it myself. The local Cat dealer absolutely will not do that.
as being. a owner of both these machines i can tell you hands down my john deere gets used 10x more then the cat comfort controls work load speed accuracy the cat is honestly garbage compared to
Bullshit. It all depends on the application. I own a cold planing company and have always used bobcat. Swapped over to a CAT lease and couldn’t be happier. Deere is junk. Unfortunately they purchased Wirtgen (our cold planers). Spending 1.5 million on a machine to have such issues is infuriating and tells you all you need to know about Deere. Luckily they have CAT engines it’s only saving grace
Cat is more comfortable - more room in cab and longer wheelbase. Deere is a great machine, but I always seem to get more work done with the Cat. I agree that no Cat engineer ever had to do any service on a machine so even little things are a PITA sometimes. I wish I could put the lifting power of the Deere, the comfort and controls of the Cat, the door of the Kubota, and the power of the ASV into one machine.
There is no perfect piece of equipment. There are pros and cons to everything! And the more government regulations the more "what the ffffffuuu were they thinking" type of things you will notice.
I turned the relief mode off on my kitty cat lifts stuff like that up like nothing I had to go in the engine and hydraulics but we’ll worth it it’s a beast
Well if you look on the 299 there is a hydraulic shutoff and I own three 299s and they will make a horrible noise if they can’t lift so I will just say turn the hydraulic shutoff off

This video is so bias😂 I’ve put hundreds of hours on that cat 299 yes they could have done better in some places but he only mentioned the bad things about it and nothing that cat did to fix that
Wow...shocked I'll tell you! A John Deere salesman doing a video to show how much better a Deere is compared to a Cat...and not doing a very good job at it!! Umm what? Have you serviced a g model Deere skid steer? They're so easy. Everything is within easy reach and you have so much room to work. I think cat machines are smooth and powerful but the compact track loader lineup seems like an afterthought. The Deere is just so much nicer to own.
Wouldn't it just make sense to have all the panels off so people can see it as they walk up? It wouldn't make sense to pull them off and put them back on all day.
John Deere is crap compared to CAT. Our local CAT has been nothing short of amazing with service. We swapped from Bobcat to 20 CATs and would never touch Deere for our application.
A friend of mine just bought a 333g. It sounds horrible when you start it. The pumps whine. There is no visibility looking down to the side. I’ll take the cat all day. And the cat rides better.
John Deere is a better built machine than can look at a 450 or 550 JD dozer with a 6 way blade compared to a Cat D3 or D4 like the skid steer Cat leaves the hydraulic lines exposed next to the track I guess it's a Cat thing

neither are weighted
Adding rear suitcase weights to the machine, does it increase the capacity of the machine?

Could you do a comparison with a John Deere and a new holland track loader? I like your videos and help a lot.

john deere 333g vs Case tv620b next?

I like that the Deere has 3 different styles of rocker switches. Good look
The Deere does have more power and lifting capacity but wears out sooner and burns twice the fuel and probably 4 times the amount of def, speaking from experience that is a huge difference if you are operating 10 to 12 hours a day, just some food for thought
And you have to do everything twice with the underpowered machine. None of what you said matters at that point.

Why would anyone buy "a Dealer Only Service Machine" Deere Can keep it's stuff! I want a dealer that supports me no gouges me!
You can literally access every manual as the dealers? And you can even buy all specific service tools that the dealerships use
My Deere techs help me over the phone and print me off all their manuals and test procedures so I can do it myself. The local Cat dealer absolutely will not do that.
You spelled cat wrong.
