Watch as British Couple, Jack and Paige, reach their final destination on this epic railroad adventure across the entire length and breadth of Pakistan. They start by almost missing the final train and having to run across Rawalpindi station to get tickets and get onboard while fighting a chest infection. Once onboard they are met with friendly KPK locals who become great company in economy class. Yet again we are met with police who are forced to apologize to Paige. We share some local music from one of Newcastle's top Artists Sam Fender and his top hit Seventeen Going Under. Once at our final destination, we are greeted by KPK hospitality and kindness with a rickshaw driver who refuses payment for our ride. We show our hotel and what £30 per night can get you in Peshawar, Pakistan, and try the famous Chapli Kebab at Jalil Kabab House.

When he said that KPK men are ashamed to talk to women he meant shy! Just like Raj in BBT.
There is a significant problem with armed robberies in South Punjab at the moment and prosperous looking people especially western tourists can be targetted. The Police therefore wanted to take pre-emptive measures for your security. Unfortunately they were unable to express this to you in their limited English. Hats off to you and Paige for attempting this challenge. I wouldnt have the guts to do this in Economy and I am Pakistani!

@@JackAynsleyTravel Paige, sorry on behalf of train conductor, That wasn't a rude behaviour. Diabetes and Obesity issues are rapidly increasing in Pakistan and people are worried about it. Since their English is not good they don't find the appropriate words to explain things. Most of people travelling in economy class also come from lower class with no proper education. They also don't see and meet foreigners so often. So i am sure his intention was not to offend you.

Chapli Kabab: Most prominent ingredient besides beef is “pomegranate seeds” it’s a very simple beef patty, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander seeds, onion juice … (tomatoes, eggs, fat or brain are fillers you can request to add). And where you ate (Jalil) they add bone marrow

As a pakistani, the guy had communication issue, he was trying to say that Pakistani ( muslim) men do not talk with women randomly like that unless its wife, mother, daughter so he wasnt used to it and was nervous. Suggest you do similar trip in India covering entire Nation, if possible but in India's luxury trains like newly launched Vande Bharat as you have already travelled by economy class.

I'm born and raised Pakistani here. It's not our customs to be rude, calling someone fat is considered rude here too. But just like boomers and the working class there, the ones here have no filter either. Obviously, things are much better there but it's not socially acceptable here either, especially in the educated circles.
