Eirin - It's so wonderful to see you sitting up! I really enjoyed this video. I like seeing tidy houses, they're peaceful and full of air. I'm a chaotic artist and my house looks like an army of monkeys ran wild all over the place and I can never find what I need when I need it. The meal prep was mesmerizing to watch and it's such a smart thing to do. I'm going to try it myself. OCD is only negative if it causes dysfunction in your life. It seems as if you may have learned to use it as a coping mechanism in dealing with uncontrollable situations. In that regard, consider it a tool to maintain positive mental health. Loved the video!
Thank you! 🤩❤️ My OCD has wrecked havoc on, not only, my life more times than I can count, but I was lucky enough to get treatment for it in 2018, and it’s so much better today 🤩🥰 I now recognize well what is me, as in just my personality, and what are «symptoms», as my therapist described it. My mom and husband are also much more aware, after learning about it, and are quick to ask certain questions if they feel concerned - I’m so lucky to have them 🥰❤️

I love so much what you shared about not comparing. There is a debilitating shame for some people who can physically move arma and legs but sometimes the overwhelm can be immobilizing. It's a game changer when we just move on our own path and rejoice in what is possible no matter what that looks like each day. I am celebrating with you today that you can enjoy that amazing sense.of accomplishment at getting things organized and reset again. Yayyy. I love organization too. You never have to apologize. You could never make anyone feel less. I would love my house to look like yours. I have more dog hair on the floor than on the dog. But we do what we can do. I have one neat son and one that has a room that looks like a science project. If doing this gives you a sense of accomplishment than happy days. Thank you for these videos

I don't even have goals of being that organized, but I admire it. I have the memorabilia of decades to contend with. I don't redecorate, I recycle the decorations. I literally still have a poster from 1976.
My hair needs professional attention. When left to my own devices, I simply cut it about 1/2 inch long with a pair of clippers. Works for me, since I have zero hope of looking as good as you after a wash and style. I'm lucky when I don't scare dogs and children. :)

Hi Eirin. I am very glad you shared about having OCD. I don't appreciate when people Flippantly say oh we all have OCD on some level. Or people that are very organized will say I have OCD. And I just don't like it because having OCD is extremely frustrating, agonizing, You know all kinds of words I could use. it's very painful if you really do have OCD as a mental illness because it kind of controls you if you have it really bad. you know such as people who have to do things over and over and over and they still don't feel complete. I don't know How severe you have it but I'm just thankful that you brought it up. I want to say I love that you are so organized I don't care why it's just really soothing and it makes a place to me more harmonious. For my own mental illnesses I don't like clutter I don't like things just thrown all over the place. So I enjoy your house your home. The way you like things stacked up nicely and it's all very calming and the orderliness keeps me feeling balanced . Thank you so much for sharing what you did and you're a beautiful person to work for because you treat the people that help you with such generous feelings. By the way you purchase them things that will be a nice addition when they're working. And by the way I love the way you make your beds so awesome. It's so good to see you sitting up and I'm so happy that your pressure sore is mending so well That makes me really happy. I have Chronic illnesses that have left me Bed-bound. I have Severe pain and I don't know what to do. I don't want to die, but I am unsure how I can keep living like this. I am alone, but I have the cutest Service Dog named Finn.I also suffer from C-PTSD, Depression and anxiety. Even with God life can become very dark. I hope you don't mind I answered truthfully. Be well my friend you touch many people. Have you ever thought of getting a Service Dog 🐕🦺

I think you having OCD more so now just makes sense. Exactly what you said with having control over it when there are a lot of things you don’t have control over. Also, never feel like you are making someone feel bad. Those of us that have been watching you know darn well that is never your intentions.

No matter what the topic is, I just love hearing your soothing voice. It really relaxes me. You are just such a gift! In many ways!❤
I also have OCD, and when I get bedbound, although not as extreme as yours, I can't do anything around my home. Even though my dear husband tries to keep things as neat and clean as possible, it just isn't what I need to have a positive mental outlook. When things are disorganized and cluttered, it mentally paralyzes me. I think it's a form of protection that my brain puts in place. My mind becomes so chaotic if i have to look at and deal with disorganization that I become very ill. My therapist advised me to pick one room or one area of a room that would be just mine. She said to pay someone or get a friend to come and do the work to organize it just how I need it. Then, no one gets to come into my space and move or displace anything. That has been wonderful counsel for me. It allows me to live in my space without thinking or viewing what's happening beyond that. This has been helpful for my husband and children as well. They don't feel I'm constantly scrutinizing them, and they can have autonomy without upsetting or making Mommy sick.

Omg! I am bedridden and haven't been able to wash my hair for 2 years now. I keep it extremely short and use damp washclothes and a lot of dry shampoo on it. But it is something that bothers me a lot and all day everyday. It's the first time I ever heard about those wash boards. I guess if I could get hold of it all I'd need was a person to help me wash my hair 😂 I don't get any financial aid from the government so we need the money my mother gets for being my carer to pay just the essentials. All we have is her tiny rent. However she is ill herself and can't actually take care of me😐

I wish you all the best too♡ Your videos are very interesting and it is uplifting to see there are others struggling in similar ways and still enjoying life♡ I am not paralysed but extremely weak and inflamed and my bones break at the smallest strain,a lot of my organs don't work properly. I am in a lot of pain most of the times even though I am on high dosages of fentanyl and tramadol. However I have recently been able to find a way to sketch a bit propped up with pillows lying on my side on my good days. It is painful, Especially with the broken ribs and very exhausting but it helps me mentally SO much!🥰 I am so thankful for every second I can be a bit creative 🙏 It is something worth the struggles🙂 Unfortunately my mother is now struggling with dementia on top of all her physical difficulties 😥 It breaks my heart. I am loosing the only person I have left and the soul I love most is slipping away and I can't help her in anyway but being there for her mentally 💔 😔 I have never wished to be stronger physically more than now that my mother needs my help and I am incapable of giving it to her😢

I enjoy that you recognize the fact that everyone has their own organization, skills, and everyone is different as far as what they feel comfortable with. My sister lives with me, and she has never been a neat person! Lol! Drives me totally crazy!😂😂 I always tease her that the house blows up in the area she is in.❤ so, between the two of us we make a happy medium. I love that thing that you used to wash your hair with. I love when my house is organized, sadly I am not very good at it😉 But I try. And for some weird reason I have 2 children, they are now adultes, who love organizing every thing. My daugter has 2 years old twins and loves when I take the children for a trip to the playground and she gets to organize my stuff❤
