- Solo Nex is now possible thanks to the over a year of lab work by good ol' Saxerpillar. The final hurdles that were discovered were max distance resets, blood sacrifice and ice prison tick eats as well as simply figuring out to tank through Glacies. This is absolutely NOT worth it for GP (although it is still somewhat profitable) but it can be 100% consistent and I plan on speedrunning solo nex in the future! I would rate this in difficulty roughly equal to a normal solo TOB.
Final time was 26:30, the fastest time by over 10 minutes.
It took 106 sweets, and too many more for attempts. RIP Dragon Arrows

Does this youtuber know that purple sweets are expensive? You can make more gp/hr if you have more friends go with you. Theres some great duo-nex guides out there (I suggest one named Duo Nex BUDGET Guide (15M GP/HR))

Its not about the money. Its about the achievement. Knowing he is one of only a handful of people that soloed nex is worth more than any amount of sweets.

Awesome! I'm not a good enough pvmer yet to think of smarter optimizations to this run, but one I thought of is equipping the RoS every time you tick-eat. That would be good if Nex takes recoil damage.
If only recoil worked on Nex, not sure why they did that in hindsight. I have plenty of other ideas though

To think, back in the day to solo nex you had to basically flinch with zbow and bring in a ton of extra food with a tackle box and eat the raw food with bunyips. Lol

Thing is he didn't even come up with it. Someone else did, and he just copied the strat. If he thinks the game is too easy, he should be the one labbing this kinda stuff.

Tick eating. He ate a sweet which gave him 3hp and nex can only hit for the 1hp. He did it the entire fight.

Nah. This is horrific for gp/hr. We calcd it at like 3-5m/hr without supply costs. 1/43 drop rate still.

What stats do I need to do this? Also can you make a NON "elitist" "guide". No gear over 15 mil, no runelite (cheating) and no changing prayers (it's hard).

You're actually delusional. This isn't possible without plugins. Plugins made this boss possible, while still being extremely difficult. Plugins don't play the game for you. Shut up already and turn off your quest helper and clue helper before piping up.
