No matter what, mods will go out and say its a justified ban without even looking into it before they claim such a thing. And later apologize and say it was a mistake. How are people supposed to trust jagex when mods publicly announce its justified just to find out later it wasnt?!?!

It's half and half.... I had my blood runes in there as well but guess what? I took them out 20 mins before the update because I knew exactly what would happen if I didn't. I can understand if you're unable to play around update time though

Does anybody know what I can do?? When trying to log back into the jagex launcher, I'm being asked to enter the code sent to my email. I am not receiving any emails from Jagex, spam folder has been checked & cache's cleared. I am completely locked out of my account...
There's a way to email player support and I have received a reply before, it's tricky to find it in the main rs page, but involves going to their automatic FAQ section and then going through where options are article is not helpful and somewhere there you might find it. It's a bit of a maze to get to it and I don't remember how I did it before.

Detection systems are designed with how many false positives do you want. It's impossible jagex has designed a system with zero false positives, that would mean they ban almost no bitter to achieve a 0% false positive. This might be the case with how many bits there are though

My GIM was perm banned and appeal denied too. Frankly I’m done with RuneScape now, three of my alts had bans quashed on the last false ban wave too.

thats honestly embarrassing. Jagex looks into the ban and says its correct only to quash it a few days later? i hope this situation makes jagex actually look into their detection system and make some changes instead of just staying quiet
looks like it was still correct if they didnt remove it completely, deserves to be a perm when its a high rank like that
@@Kala_RSquashed means it was not applied correctly. A quashed ban is essentially a ban that is stored but not considered as an actual offense. It would not stack with subsequent punishment.

The ironman with the macro major ban quashed only got it removed after enough attention. Meanwhile myself receiving these same false bans on two of my alts will never get rectified because appeal system failed for one of them and the other they accepted and forced account recovery. Like wtf is their system, it's so bad.

If it's on RuneLite, it's legal. RL complies with Jagex as an official cooperator. Jagex are currently also looking into letting them remap the spellbook because of recent changes that moved spells around.

This shit makes me so mad. I have an acct with 6k hours on it that I got banned for using a 3rd party client one day after the client update. Didnt hear about the changes and boom, permad. Appeal auto came back as denied. I wasnt using anything that was seriously against the rules. Just the pluggins like the one that made npcs disappear right as you kill them and the party pluggin for toa. It sucks that only popular people can get a real appeal.

The "prices are where they were before the update" is kind of a false statement as the price fluctuation was on the rise long before that. The instant that scythe buffs were even mentioned hypothetically, is when the price rise really started. So looking at a "week long" price graph is just inaccurate. You need to throw that puppy into at least "quarter" 3 month graph, to see the price before

Jagex has said anyone using a third party client will get a 2 week ban for their first offence, not a perm ban.
