I'm 65 years old I've been playing around with gunsmithing for 45 years I just finished two years of gunsmithing school at Lassen county college. I build a lot of rolling block rifles. Lived in Oregon all my life, moving to Texas tired of my gun rights being stepped on.

Sounds excellent! I have to come out there to visit family in the future. My uncle said we'd go to the museum so I'll definitely look you up when we come. I plan to visit every other year or so and of course if I draw game tags for hunting we'll be coming. My son and I will be doing all the trips. Some trips my youngest son will be along too. I'm really looking forward to our trips. Especially the hunting ones and any we bring our off-road Jeep rigs also.

I hope you get that barrel making machinery running. I have a Winchester 94 made in 1910 that needs a new 24" octagon barrel. Currently I'm running it with a post 64 20" barrel that I modified to fit. Sure would be nice to have a proper 24" barrel for it.

That expansion is going to open up more opportunities with even more great shooters, thats exciting stuff! Those guys do a great job as the people that color case harden all of Greg Buchel's rifles out of Big Horn Armory. Im looking forward to seeing some really neat restorations from you and your crew.

We've leased out most of the grazing so that we have the time to pursue our passion for vintage firearms. My brother-in-law lives on the ranch and will take care of the livestock that's left.
I can't wait to see the whole process. Those are my favorite, watching someone who is good at what they do, as well as good at explaining what they are doing.

A suggestion for future content, since vintage Winchesters calibers are rare which means the associated ammunition is also rare, maybe some videos on casting and reloading some of these unique cartridges. Your channel once again, fired up my interest in vintage firearms, essentially Winchesters.

I imagine you know that an original Wyoming Armory was operated by George and Frank Freund in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The brothers came to the United States just before the Civil War. They followed the Union Pacific crews building the east to west section of the transcontinental railroad. They sold firearms and other supplies from a tent at the end of track encampments. Eventually they had shops in Laramie, Durango and Denver Colorado as well as Cheyenne. There's an excellent book "Freund & Bro. Pioneer Gunmakers to the West." Good luck with your Cody venture.

Merry Christmas Mark. Exciting news. I was just there at Wyoming Armoury back in July, the owner gave me a tour of the place. He showed me some very fine guns he was working on ansd had completed. They did some amazing work, and I was able to purchase some parts for my 1885 Winchester that they reproduced. I am planning on having a table in Cody at the show next July, hopefully you are there as well. You are right, Cody is the Mecca of the Winchester world!! Take care! Dave

What with the Duke of Montana expanding into Shield Arms and you expanding to a multi-state operation times are looking pretty good for parts and work.
Have you given any more thought about opening up the Cinnabar to wishing to camp and shoot at the ranch? I picture something similar to Gunsight in AZ with camping and shooting skills development.
Great fantastic news on the purchase if the Armory and I know it must be a money making venture to survive and prosper but one thing I will ask is PLEASE set your prices where the average shooter or collector can have work done. If you look at repair restoration prices or folks Like Turnbull for instance folks like me and many others simply can't afford to have our family guns repaired. Hope you can film some at the new store. That commute going to be rough though...
