Started riding at 34 after a devastating separation from my wife. Im 36 now.I can absolutely identify with what she said about how much of this becomes your life. Made more friends riding in 2 years than I ever have. It definitely brought my closer to my family and ignited a fire in me for challenge. Riding helped me fight what felt like a never ending fight with depression. I don't think I can stop, it's my life.
Great you got into it, I’ve been since I was 4 (now 47 ) you will never see an unhappy person after a ride !! There’s some great amateur series and organised trail rides around, even the pony express is also worth looking at if you’re up for a challenge.
I may have taught Casey how to ride, it was her grit and determination that got her fast and far more capable than I ever was. Carson has so much to do with her speed and ability. For that I will always be grateful. Great to see my girl loving the sport that I love. I have done 50 years so far behind bars. I still love to ride with Casey and Carson, they don't even mind waiting for me.
Adam puts into words and images the essence of what it feels like to ride. The relationships, the risk, the joy, and some of the pain that comes with dirt bike riding. The things you don't understand unless you ride.
im a pretty good enduro rider. met this couple out on a local group ride, and this girl was a bit faster then me. while this is a physical sport there is so much technique involved that non riders will never understand. whoever that ripper couple was hope ur still out there shredding trails together!
Awesome video! It’s ok for girls to be girls; they don’t “have less worth or less fulfilling lives until they’re exactly the same as boys.” I have 5 daughters, 3 riding already, and they love it! We don’t tell them they’re inadequate if they can’t hit every single obstacle at exactly the same speed as my 3 boys. If they can, awesome! If they can’t, well, that’s just life, and they’re ok with it, and still all ride together. My 17 year old son is 8 inches taller and at least 50 pounds of pure muscle heavier than my 15 year old daughter, who is probably about done growing. What does our modern society teach her about her value as a person if that value depends on being physically equal to him? Celebrate being a girl and do what you love!!! 👍🏻👍🏻 (And by the way, my much, much smaller wife utterly DESTROYS me on horseback. The difference is far greater than it is between us the other way on bikes.)
💯 truth spoken in this video, Casey you are a Weapon on the bike I have loved being out on track while you were out ripping about . The motorcycling community is top notch with helping one another out when needed .
Hello, how are you? I'm altino, to be exact, I'm from Ecuador, and I'm using the google translator to write this so that they can understand me better... and I have no words to describe what I felt when they talk about motorcycles. I also do enduro for me. The best thing in the world I don't have a motorcycle like the ones you have, it's my dream. I hope one day to be able to ride a Yamaha YZ 250 2T Enduro... but for now, with my Chinese motorcycle, I enjoy the routes and the friends since he 50% of the fun of enduro is our friends, I really liked watching this video, they are incredible and thanks for this beautiful video, greetings from here ECUADOR
great addition- my dad bought me my first motorbike when I was 11(Honda XR 75) , so I would stop driving the tractor all over the property in 4th gear! Been riding ever since (turning 60 next month) - mostly by myself- not any other women friends to ride with. Great to have a crew to enjoy it with.
I love hitting the track and I love blasting though the trails with my buddy’s. nothing beats riding I’ve learned that the most in life that’s what riding about. Not like the rest of the sports I’ll win no I’ll win I’m better then you. You never get that with twisting a throttle. Enjoyed the videos.
@@peterjames9610 Gday Peter, Out of respect for the tree huggers over there I’ll have to say “West of Hawaii and east of Madagascar”. Not sure where you are located mate but if in W.A I can recommend the West Australian Ride Park or WARP for anyone wanting to get out of the city. 1200 acres of bush near Kirup W.A. It’s open in the cooler months, full camping facilities, all properly insured etc. Has a large motocross track, Enduro, many varied fully signed trails to suit all abilities from pee wee to all ages. Run by a great family that make sure everyone feels welcome. Cheers 👍🍻
@@peterjames9610 Gday Peter, You guys sure do have some great riding over there. Have watched a few vids just recently. You can still get away from it all over here without hassle from the authorities or even seeing many other people, if anyone at all. It’s a bit of a hike but it’s worth it. Cheers 👍👍🍻
Something I've noticed about power sports when the topic of women vs men comes up: men generally speak of riding as a spiritual experience. It's freeing. It's consuming. It's exhilarating. Women often focus on the fact that "they can do it too" and they they are out to prove to everyone else that they are "just as strong as the guys". From the outside looking in, I want to say that no one cares if you can do it too. On a bike you're just another person in a helmet. Stop focusing on everyone else and just enjoy your ride.
Another 😎👍👊 vid Adam. YMA seriously need you to shoot their vids & name you a brand ambassador. The things people can do on a WR 😳 Hopefully will get there, still unlearning over a decade of road riding.
I believe there are more risks in motocross. The thing is any five year old on a PW 50 can ride motocross track not everybody can ride in the woods. I enjoy being out in the woods much more. it’s more of a sense of adventure and in some places there are nowhere in the world you can beat the scenery.
Fantastic vid like allways.puts it down in words the way we all feel...luv it.weĺl done once again.feels like I know you personally although we've never met....from sunny south Africa
Adam, any chance you can get in Yamaha's ear and let them know riders want a Yamaha two stroke enduro bike that can be regsitered in Australia and has electric start.
Great as alvays do yo have an maping how too change the maping to your riding,i like a good how and why simple as possible as the timing change and fuel!😀
Whatever happened to your relationship with KTM? Your big bore adventure rides, bike debuts and Naxos type rally filming‘s are what inspired me to watch your channel.
I truly believe Yamaha make the best value for money dirt bikes in the planet, so why not change brand, KTM have ruled the dirt bike game for quite a while but the blue bikes are as good for a lot less money, makes sense if you ask me. I love the KTM’s also, awesome bikes, ridden them all 👍🏻
@@Captndarty yeah sure, I rode a Yamaha Wr 450 through Morocco’s Anti Atlas and parts of the Western Sahara, that was an adventure and makes the Wr 450 a fun bike to do do an adventure on, it was amazingly competent on the dunes. Lighten up bud it’s all good fun on here 👍🏻
To the young lady riding, I’m 6 foot, but my new riding legs make me 5”7 instead. I’ll be learning to ride with short legs, your welcome ya come learn aswell if ya like. I lost both my legs in a work accident.
