For all the perceived "issues" we are still in a golden era of gaming with more choices than ever before about how and where we game, with access to generations of games, cross platform gaming etc. I play on PC now because where I am right now it suits me best, but I have gamed in real time since Pacman was the latest new triple AAA release and have owned consoles from 1st gen to the 7th gen (switched to PC after buying 360s, PS3 and WiiU), handhelds etc. People should just enjoy what they have, what others do and have have absolutely no impact on anyone else.

And it's cheaper because you only need to buy a couple parts instead of an entire new system 3. By buying a $500 PC and with steam sales, you are saving more money than if you bought a $500 console that rarely has sales on games (on top of needing an online subscription sometimes) So as long as you're not buying the most expensive parts and accessories, you actually are saving money compared to a console.

I use a wired 360 controller on my PC because they're almost as durable as a Gamecube controller, and they're wired so no latency, oh, and lighter due to no battery/ies. They're getting hard to find in good order though, lucky I've only ever needed 2 so far. 🤣

Originally Halo was going to be a Mac game like Bungie’s previous games before Microsoft bought them out. It’s really interesting thinking about what could’ve been since it went form an RTS to a third person action game during development. Then after going to Xbox it became an FPS.

I use a wired 360 controller on my PC because they're almost as durable as a Gamecube controller, and they're wired so no latency, oh, and lighter due to no battery/ies. They're getting hard to find in good order though, lucky I've only ever needed 2 so far. 🤣

I haven't played on PS since PS2, or Xbox since 360. Really the games I was playing on them were fun but I'm not going to trash on other systems and games that other people like without reason.

I imagine the reason the xbox controller is the most popular is because its more ergonomic and most PCs run on windows so its probably a lot easier to set up and troubleshoot, i know i drifted towards xbox as a kid because ive always had big hands and the xbox controllers have always fit so much better in my hand than a ps controller and id need a huge mouse and keyboard to comfortably game on pc and i personally really dont care for MnK

Xbox controllers are built into the windows OS and work better on PC. I bought a PS5 controller to use as a dedicated PC controller and found out the hard way. It's good for steam pretty much only and maybe an emulator or 2.

People use xbox controllers on pc cause it feels comfortable and it's immediately recognizable on pc. This man is not a true Jet Set Radio fan because the sequel Jet Set Radio Future was released exclusively on the original Xbox. Second why does he word his tweets like he's speaking for the entire gaming community ? Third what's wrong with downloading games via PS+/Game Pass ? Games these days are like $70 to $100 if it's a bundle so being able to download these games for free as long as i keep my subscription active is nice.
