It's probably worth mentioning that the Bloodhound's Fang, in addition to all it's other benefits (intrinsic bleed effect, buffable, awesome weapon skill) it also has stronger jump attacks. This effect is hinted at in the weapon's description.
@@XxMichaelRayxX Yeah it has higher motion values for jumping attacks (essentially a higher multiplier off of the base damage). I don't know how much stronger it is compared to normal jump attacks but I think it's similar to the 15% buff to jump attacks that the Claw Talisman offers.
Fun fact you can get a beastman curved greatsword early if you enter the imbued sword key gate in liurnia that takes you to farum. There are two beastmen enemies there, one of which that drops the greatsword They are super hard to kill early on, but if you can it’s really fun to play through the game with it
My personal favorite is the Dismounter because you can get it so early in the game, add to it the Flaming strike ash of war and it's just so damn cool.
This is my favorite Elden Ring series by far! I'm thinking about making a fume knight build, trying to find what weapons would fit and these really help
Magma wyrm scalesword has 4 secrets: first secret: the full damage of first part of weapon art does full damage for first 2 seconds, also, if somebody steps into lava 1-2 seconds later, you can do the second part guaranteed, second secret: you can change the direction of weapon art while flight twice, which will allow you to dodge some thrust type attacks and hit them at the same time, third secret +15% bonus damage modifier for strong attacks while 2 handed and +10% damage bonus modifier for strong jumping attacks while two handed (as bonus, info, thanks to crouching while doing strong attack and weapon art, you can dodge hits like this sometimes), fourth secret: lava moves very slowly, but still forward.
Something to note about Morgott's cursed sword, it's one of (currently) four weapons which cause 100 extra points of damage if you use them to proc bleed (the other three are the Reduvia, Varré's Bouquet and the Hoslow whip) making it an even better weapon than it already is.
@@NoNono-o3h nope. Not a skill issue at all. You are not meant to be there at a low level so you can't say it is a skill issue. You sound like a 12 year old right now.

I love using the zamor curved sword offhand to either the flowing curved sword or blade of Melania for blade danced builds. Frost and dex with perfumes to reset the frostbite is very fun as the zamor sword often roll catches.
Bloodhound's Fang single-handedly carried me thru my first playthrough (of any Souls game) it was just so good. No power stance? Despite the early game build, I ran dual dismounters and had a blast, didn’t thrash or anything, but with the Kaiden armor, it looks pretty good.
in my most recent playthrough i combined dismounter with flaming strike. and it is one of my favourite builds now, the curved greatswords moveset is really good because they can hit several enemies easily. but they can combo however you want, light into heavy, heavy into light, light into heavy into light. and so forth, these can also combo into flaming strike so you can do tons of mixups and variants to fit your needs. they also have good reach and respectable hyper armor, so definitely a solid weapon class
I started a new playthru the other day and I decided to be a dedicated samurai build but when an omen dropped his cleaver in Altus… everything changed. Curved greatswords are just toooo good!
Something for y'all to keep tabs on, as it's mentioned (not shown, but at least spoken of) here: You can do the rolling attacks out of a crouch pretty quick if you're careful. Plus, with some attacks, it gives you more options; certain greatswords will have long-range pokes, and certain piercing weapons will gain wide sweeps. Always good to keep in mind for certain pieces of gear, curved greatswords especially, as they often perform downward diagonal sweeps, whereas the crouching move is an upwards sweep (good against anyone looking to crouch and avoid gettin' cleaved).
The Bloodhound Fang definitely carried me through a lot of the game. I eventually switched to dual curved swords, but even then I would pull out the fang or later Morgott's sword for heavier enemies. The hyper armour on Morgott's ash of war is really nice, I would often just trade with bosses with it. It melts heavy enemies with the amount of stagger and bleed it does, and it's even good against groups! I basically don't know what Fire Knights in the DLC do because I would just use cursed blood slice on them immediately every time.
Beastman’s Cleaver is a personal favorite. I love Flame Art affinity, and it’s so good with Lion’s Claw. It also looks great paired with One-Eyed Shield, which is easily my favorite shield in the game.👌
To answer your question about the Magma Wyrm's Scalesword in PVE, it completely shreds through anything not resistant to fire. And even then, it just overpowers them. They'll stand directly in the magma left over from the ash of war and just melt. That weapon can carry you through the whole game in PVE.
Makar’s scalesword is actually crazy to pair with things like flame of the fell god, fire breath attacks and grafted dragon if you’re looking for a good flame build
Ahh.. the cgs. Best weapon for invasions, got some great damage for pve, and applies great pressure in the colosseum. Probably the best weapon class besides greatswords or colossals
You forgot to mention that you can use the Four Belfries to reach a small area of Farum Azula, and farm for the Beastman's Cleaver much much earlier in the game.
Monks flameblade can be farmed much earlier, from the start of the game in fact. Just climb the tower in caelid, drop down to the boss door for the godskin apostle and there is a flame monk there carrying it that has the same 4% drop chance
Dude i got flashbacks to when i made a build with Morrgot's Cursed Sword and absolutely melted bosses lmao, such an amazing weapon with so much potential!
