I was around 12 when Nothing Compares. It was a great song and she took the world by storm. Me and my friends just thought she was just a weird chick with a bald head. Once a girl we were hanging out with was like “you guys would think she’s hot if she had long hair”. Looking back I’m realizing how beautiful she was. She experienced tremendous emotional pain in her life. RIP great soul
i was hooked on the voice when i first heard Troy from Lion and the Cobra - her fiery vocals on that opus brought me to my knees. a great gift, thank you Sinead.
All my life since I was a kid I listened to Sinead. My mother introduced me to her. She didn't quite show me the music, she played her cds at home and I payed attention to this magnetic music. I remember the light of thoose days. It was bright and peaceful. She was, is and will be my favorite musician. Not just because of her wonderful musical work, also because her strength and her courage. As Fiona Apple said; Sinead O'Connor is my hero. She always will be. I love her so much 💚🌧🍃
She had tough life due to her talent and purity as a soul. Her non conformist and rebellious character made her to be the most talented artist of my generation. I always loved her deep in my heart.
We know the good die young and she was relatively young, but clearly her life's work was done in this lifetime and how fortunate are we to have her music for all our lifetimes. If we are mourning, it is for our loss not hers. "Bless you Sinead....as you transition on to your next lifecycle".
One's life work is not done if they choose to end it early. I've been told that it creates karma and the lifetime must be repeated. Which is sad because she faced each battle that presented itself until the one she couldn't win.
She was no fool and everything she went through in her life she was still wise beyond her years and wouldn’t be walked over but i love when she said the things people say about her were their problem not hers such an amazing outlook she was beautiful inside and out and nobody can take that away from her fly high with your son in peace
I like how straightforward, genuine and intelligent she was in her answers. Always so thoughtful and wise beyond her years. Not to mention had one of the most breathtaking voices i've ever heard. I try hope her soul is finally at peace. RIP.
In the nineties we had artists like this in the mainstream! Sinead O’Connor, Cranberries, REM, U2 etc..they had a humanitarian political view/ stand and that has been totally erased for a reason. DONT THINK, FOLLOW LIKE A ROBOT. Thank you Sinead for having a mind of your own and giving something valuable and pure to the world. You never sold your soul. You will never be forgotten.

Hearing the news brought a flood of emotions/memories back i had forgotten about it had been so long since i thought about her. My mom rest her soul, loved her music so i heard alot of it when i was younger. As she said, nothing compares to you, rings truer than ever. Sad she had to go so soon seems like it hasn't been that long ago.

What I'm sure of is Sinead's song writing and voice, - singing and all.
I’ve always loved her for being authentic…and that was right back from 1988 when I seen her for the first time. I hope dear Sinead you have found a peaceful place ❤
I'm a gay man and to me she was the most beautiful woman in entertainment. I find Sinead and Greta Garbo the most exquisite women I've every seen. The difference is Sinead was also a beautiful, real and powerful woman inside too
Her strength and integrity is remarkable, her emotional intelligence is incredible, as a young woman who experienced so much horrendous sexual and physical abuse throughout her childhood she is beautifully composed and articulate. Most incredible Irish person of our generation.
Articulate, beautiful, real, hyper intelligent. Not the best qualities to have when you're surrounded by nasty, greedy, uneducated, uncult, non- empathic money hungry humans. Sorry you experienced this Sinead 😢.
She was so beautiful, inside and out. A deep soul who felt deeply and was honest. I think NOW that she has passed, people are waking up to see how honest she has ALWAYS been. I noticed that she always rubbed the outside of her mouth when she was upset or sad.
She was a real woman, brains with natural beauty and a an angelic voice without exposing herself as a sex icon and that must have pissed off so many men in the music industry
Hope we all are inspired and aspire to being brave of having and showing a millionth of Sinead's courage and authenticity. Strength through vulnerability and honesty. Legend ❤
Sinead is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in my life. Not only outside, put she is so much more than that, a voice for all humanity! Her voice carries on for all of us who truly remember and appreciate her!!!! She changed lives, and will continue to in my opinion
I love her. Its hypocritical of many entertainment industry people to praise her and her genius now, when i never saw many people in that souless world admit how original, strong and RIGHT she was about everything. She was so REAL. She was punk as hell. She ripped THAT photo in front of millions, she didnt just talk about it. Instead of listening to her or researching, she was crucified as if everyone in the world really cared about religion. It was herd mentality. She made me question things in a way that changed my young life. We lost a real one. The REALEST one and ive never been so heartbroken about someone i didnt know dying.

She was a blaze of talent. I fell in love with her as a teenager when I first heard Troy. A true humanitarian always involved with communities and sociopolitical politics fighting for human rights for so long in a world full of self-serving self-absorbed celebrities.
I love her hands and her big, beautiful green eyes..... not to mention her soul. I am heartbroken but know she is happy with God and her mom and son now.
In one of her interviews. Yes, I knew nothing at all about this woman. Completely horrified. What her parents did to her. My sister committed suicide. This entire story story has glutted me. She was locked up for theft. I am gutted
Dear Sinead O’Connor, You’ve taught me most of what I know of what it means to be an artist, the sacrifice involved and the freedom. I don’t know the intimate details of your passing or your son’s passing. I only know the legacy that you left behind.. I know that you taught me I could sing from my softest, most pure holy place, while also being a warrior. Joan of arc can fight and sing like an angel at the same time. In astrology, we both share a placement of Mercury in Scorpio. Mercury, represents communication, and Scorpio represents transformation, transmutation and uncovering deceit in oneself, in others, society or environment. To me that just means that your voice is the vehicle that you offer the world for us to transform. You did just that… your angelic, pure, feminine, beautiful voice cut-through to our innermost selves with its beauty and made potent transformative messages digestible. To the outer world, you appeared as a rebel but if you look closer, anyone with soulful eyes, could see your message was always divine love. When you were ripping up pictures of patriarchal figures, your motive was to protect the children that were being abused, and yet you were persecuted, and they were not. You come from a lineage of mental illness, and your Mother & your son suffered, and even in your own suffering, you left us with music that is eternal. You loved your God, and you were devoted to seeking spiritually in every aspect of your life. To me, you were a fierce protector of the voices that went unheard. They made you a villain but even your beautiful, soft face as a child and as a young woman singing, had so much ethereal soft beauty, and yet your message was so direct & potent and with the spirit of the Celtic Morgan’s. That may have scared them, that level of power and beauty all at once. You fought with love but it wasn’t welcomed they only saw a threat. Still…your mission was accomplished. I listened to your album over and over again on my walkman as a teenager when I needed guidance, and you gave it every time. I am stretched on your grave with eternal devotion to celebrating your soul and the songs that you wrote, and gave us all. I love you with all of my heart.

Apart from an angelic voice, she's the most beautiful woman without much hair I've ever seen! R.I.P, Sinead!
Do you read minds? Because I was thinking the exact same thing.
(I'm kidding about mind reading but we do feel the same way about beautiful Sinead.)
Oui plus belle du monde ❤
A beautiful, smart, talented young woman who is now home with her creator. She seemed to truly suffer with her health and was quite open about her illness. God bless and keep Sinead in His care. Rest in peace.
She was SOOO gorgeous, intelligent, pure and brave 💙💜💙 RIP, beautiful soul 💔🕊🕊🕊

You are so right!
Belle jeune ❤❤
The beauty and innocence of those eyes, despite all she'd been through. Loved you Sinead. ❤

She was and IS, just magic. What a brave warrior woman. So unique, special, real, profound, intelligent, talented, a thousand words will never be enough to capture her. I will miss her so much. 💔
Her eyes show that she was a beautiful soul.May she rest in peace🙏
I was around 12 when Nothing Compares. It was a great song and she took the world by storm. Me and my friends just thought she was just a weird chick with a bald head. Once a girl we were hanging out with was like “you guys would think she’s hot if she had long hair”. Looking back I’m realizing how beautiful she was. She experienced tremendous emotional pain in her life. RIP great soul
i was hooked on the voice when i first heard Troy from Lion and the Cobra - her fiery vocals on that opus brought me to my knees. a great gift, thank you Sinead.
what a gorgeous human being she was. fully grown into herself, fighting to her last breath, took the blows and dealt them properly. Admirable heroine
She had such a beautiful face structure and those big eyes. I hope she’s at peace
Yes yes yes...your are right
Beautifully said 🙏😭❤️
Amen! ❤️
One's life work is not done if they choose to end it early. I've been told that it creates karma and the lifetime must be repeated. Which is sad because she faced each battle that presented itself until the one she couldn't win.
That is not true. That is just another cliche that someone sang and people accept it as truth. It is another lie..
She was a one-hit wonder in America.
She was my first cursh as a kid and young teen, its crazy to think that this jewel of a woman, beautiful human, is gone now.

Despite the immense pain caused by her loss, i am delighted to have known her, admired her, supported her in difficult times as in good times. Thank you for existing Sinead.
She's so beautiful ! Gutted by the news of her passing. I've always loved that 1990 release of "nothing compares 2 u". I've watched it hundreds of times throughout the years. I know she's got other songs, but that one song/performance was spectacular
Her best song was Mna na Eireann...get it on youtube.

Sinead was 100% right tearing up the Pope’s photo. We punished her for it.
She never learnt from that. Too much in possession of hell.
You can't blame the whole world for something that your mother did to you.
We? I no. In that instant she became an even greater idol to me. I understood right away.
@@liliadepaula3932 I am a fan of Sinead and saw this live on SNL I was shocked. I was raised catholic, went to catholic school (aware of child molestations) and misjudged her at that instant for not knowing what her intent was. I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt this way. What I'm sure of is Sinead's song writing and voice, - singing and all.

What stunning eyes. More or as beautiful as Audrey Hepburns. Her eyes reflected her soul as did her smile.
Yes most definitely
The perfect face, everything is just perfect.
I'm a gay man and to me she was the most beautiful woman in entertainment. I find Sinead and Greta Garbo the most exquisite women I've every seen.
The difference is Sinead was also a beautiful, real and powerful woman inside too
Absolutely! She was really gorgeous and so genuine!

She was beautiful inside out ✌️❤️
Thank you for the footage
Her strength and integrity is remarkable, her emotional intelligence is incredible, as a young woman who experienced so much horrendous sexual and physical abuse throughout her childhood she is beautifully composed and articulate. Most incredible Irish person of our generation.
Articulate, beautiful, real, hyper intelligent. Not the best qualities to have when you're surrounded by nasty, greedy, uneducated, uncult, non- empathic money hungry humans. Sorry you experienced this Sinead 😢.
she is so calmly talking the truth, so humble & unearthly beautiful inside out 💟
Yes, her beauty is so intense. One of a kind. we all loved her...god speed Sinead....
She was so beautiful, inside and out. A deep soul who felt deeply and was honest. I think NOW that she has passed, people are waking up to see how honest she has ALWAYS been. I noticed that she always rubbed the outside of her mouth when she was upset or sad.
Very sad to hear she had passed away. Felt I lost a good and close relative, yet I am quite confident she is at a far more beautiful place.
She was a real woman, brains with natural beauty and a an angelic voice without exposing herself as a sex icon and that must have pissed off so many men in the music industry
Amazing human being, speaking up before her time!! Beautiful Soul inside and out🙏 l truly hope she is finally at peace with her son❤️

Sinead is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in my life. Not only outside, put she is so much more than that, a voice for all humanity! Her voice carries on for all of us who truly remember and appreciate her!!!! She changed lives, and will continue to in my opinion
The anxiety is tangible. The inability to ignore the truth & the talent inspired. RIP warrior.

Stunningly gorgeous lady, immense talent. A very sad loss.
Dear Sinead O’Connor,
You’ve taught me most of what I know of what it means to be an artist, the sacrifice involved and the freedom. I love you with all of my heart.
beautiful inside and out, rip angel 💔
