So good! But also so sad 😢😢 I'm so sorry for what you went through Kristen. Thank you Tara & Todd! Every week, I cant wait to her and watch your podcast!❤
Well. 💔💔💔 Kristin, thank you for sharing this. What an intimate experience to put out there for the world. Unveiling allll the parts surrounding both infertility & childbearing are so critical in advocating for women’s health. Kristin’s early story w/the endo made me wonder: is there (or could something be created) a general questionnaire OBs could routinely, at least annually, administer that might send up the “Oh, we should check for endo” flag before YEARS have passed? It friggin’ INFURIATES me that women’s health is so often not well addressed. If a guy’s penis hurt like Tara & Kristin suffered, there would be 50 million studies and meds in place to fix it asap!
Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked the episode. I feel like your suggestion around endo is a great one! I hope medical professionals take it into consideration. -Kristin
Absolutely Love Kristin McQuaid. She truly has such a Big heart and telling her story has helped so many. London is the reason! 💜 One Beautiful Lil Angel! 😇
Thank you for being so raw and brave in your sharing, Kristin! The details in episode 20 are so beautifully vivid - the mention of the angel dress had me balling crying immediately. @@KMcQuaid333
I've only just started listening but Kristin using the g-word gave me a full-body cringe. I don't believe she has bad intentions with it, a lot of Americans just aren't aware of the implications of the word. But it's a racial slur not different from the N-word, except targeted at Romani people. Which I think Americans don't often realize because the presence of Romani people and the racism against them is probably different from how it is in Europe. It would be great if you could let Kristin know of the connotations of this word! I hope that the knowledge of it will catch on more in the US but that will probably take some more time.
Hi there. I wanted to first start out by saying how sorry I am that I offended you. I in no way knew the true meaning behind this word and now know for furture not to use it. Thank you for educating me and others on this subject. I appreciate you watching the podcast and commening. -Kristin
Being professionals, Tara and Todd should know better. They need to ditch the foul language. Totally unnecessary. My heart breaks for Kristen.......that surrogate really messed up by not seeing her obstetrician when she noticed the baby's movements slowing down.......sad, sad, sad
This is so heartbreaking. 💔 thank you for sharing.
I can’t wait for the next episode! This happens every week! I’m obsessed 😱
