- Day 392 - After a morning exploring London, we head to the House of MinaLima. It's a free museum dedicated to the artwork of the Harry Potter films. Even if you're not a fan of the franchise, it's still super interesting!

I love that they are offering free admission to that museum. It looks awesome. I love all of the detail that they put into everything.
It was really amazing! The typography kind of blew my mind.
We've seen the movies, but we're by no means huge Harry Potter fans, and we still found it absolutely fascinating! The designers are crazy talented ✒️✏️
Haha, Tal's dancing skills in this video were on point! We need to make this little travel group happen more often.
..and as always, stay fresh..live the life and here we are. We'll see you in the beans.
Tal's a dancing fiend!!
The Endless Adventure Hi, I live in London and just to let you know I absolutely love this vlog. I was just wondering how much it was to get into the House Of Minalima thanks Emma
Ah, that museum looked so cool. I cant believe it's free!
Love your videos! It's nice to see another couple who loves to travel as much as we do! Airbnb is wonderful btw!
The tube is so clean
As far as I know the man who made the lion sculptures had dead lions to use to help him sculpture. But as he took too long they started to decompose before he finished. The paws/feet of the sculptures look a bit odd and that's because he had to use a normal domestic cat to go by because the dead lions had rotted.
The John Snow pub was probably named after the man who investigated cholera in the 1850s in that area.
It was. John Snow (1813-1858) was the physician who was instrumental in having removed the handle from the public water pump situate in Broad Street (now Broadwick street), in the parish of Saint Anne Soho, because no-one at first would believe him the contaminated water was the cause of the cholera outbreak in the parish, in 1854, which eventually killed 616 parishioners.
The character on Game of Thrones is written JON Snow.
Loving the Vibes guys. Even if the weather is terrible !! :)
That is almost a British Summer!!
Watching Allison dance with yoda was pretty magical
I'll never be the same 😍
So crazy that a great piece which took I'm sure, hours to make, was only seen in the film for 2 seconds... Great vlog, fam. :)
Great video! I never actually explored Harry Potter related places in London. The museum looks really interesting.
HARRY POTTER!!! That stuff is INSANE! I remember seeing that muggles book in the film! omg...i wish I'd known that was there!!! I am DEFO going next time I'm in London!
So glad we got to spend time, and I actually hope the paella was that good! :D
Next time feel free to come stay if I'm around!
Oh you better believe we'll be hitting you up next time we come through 😉
I mean it! definitely do it for sure
That artwork was sick
Love your videos! You are awesome!
when you sped up the camera on the train i got such a fright! I though it had crashed haha! if you ever come back to Britain (glasgow is best butttt...) you should visit leavesden studios, where harry potter was made :-)
So glad that's not the case! 💥🚅 I think we could spend a good bit of time doing a Harry Potter tour around the UK...we didn't realize there were so many spots where they filmed!
Trafalgar Square is owned by The Queen, whereas the roads on three sides and the terrace fronting the National Gallery are owned by Westminster City Council. The square occupies the site of the King's Mews, which had been there since the 13th century, and was more-or-less complete by 1840 but not open to the public until 1844. Sir Edwin Landseer had the corpse of a lion, which had died at London Zoo, brought to him but he took so long with his sketches it began to decay and thereafter he had to improvise (the lions were installed in 1867, each weighing seven tons and with slight differences). The fourth plinth remained empty from 1840 until 1999. The present fountains are relatively new, dating from 1937/39.
I love the effort you guys put into the intro! After effects?
Heck yeah ✊
How long does it take to go threw the house of minalima?
How did you do the text effect for the title?
if you go back north you have to get a cheese and onion pie if it has potatoes in it you've been robed
Cant beat a nice robe.
Did the phone box smell of piss? if not it's not an authentic London phone box ;)
That public convenience was a telephone kiosk, not a phone box.
Not everything smells like your house.
I've seen the real house they shot at before
Cannons, melted down, were taken from the French...Double indignity....
"All this text is real".... lol what does fake text look like? :-)
No problem. Tom Riddle nose nothing.
Anti theft lifting bags at the front well done you know london...
As a guy from Northern England I can honestly say London is my least favourite city in the world! so busy and the people are so unfriendly.
And so few are actually British!
London has been turned into one giant tourist attraction.
Would of been great if they had got off the beaten track and got some authentic London life.
Andrew Donaghy it's so sad what has happened to London, it is not London anymore, it has lost its identity ...i get immigration but one thing is immigration and another invasion.
Dan Brown so true. Last time I visited (from Shropshire) couldn't get over how there were virtually no English accents. I literally heard one person speak in a London accent.
as someone who lives just outside of London, london is one of my most favourite cities in the world. so i guess it’s just a matter of opinion
also you guys complaining about people not being British just sound racist/xenophobic
