- Today we got the chance to explore the beautiful Cornwall coast a bit near Crantock Bay, then we took a relaxing (but chilly!) stroll along the beach. England just keeps getting more and more beautiful!

Thank goodness some Americans ventured outside of London and visited the real UK. Well done guys.
When we go to Europe we only vist the real UK and real France.. We bypass London and Paris these days.
We took a day trip to Eastbourne and walked up to Beachy Head. I loved it! It was hands down my favorite part of our trip. Coming down with a cold that day and simultaneously getting somewhat stranded in Eastbourne due to train problems didn't even manage to squash my joy. I'd love to spend more time outside of London. It's just so much cheaper to fly into and out of London and our dollars only go so far there. Plus, anywhere I go has to be navigable on public transport or on foot. I don't think I could manage to safely drive on the opposite side of the road.
I used to think the same about driving on the right, until I started driving abroad with satnav: it organises you and makes you feel safe I would say. Glad you enjoyed the coast in and around Eastbourne; there is some great coast to explore within 90 minutes drive from London - come do it! :)
Cornwall is beautiful. The ancient history there is amazing. I lived in Cornwall for there years in the 90's. Many happy memories. Good to see you trying real beer and real English food. The stilton I saw you try in a pastie, is what you call blue cheese. Something of acquired taste, and another protected product. Sure it rains a lot, but because Cornwall is so slim at the SW end, it passes quickly. You need to see Wiltshire too. So much to see in the UK.
A place I've always wanted to visit. Have been to Britain twice as a youth, so Cornwall will be my 'old age" destination in England!
You are so complimentary, and thoughtful with your choice of words. So glad you love the UK. A pleasure to hear your accounts.
Holding on to a dead brittle plant makes it completely safe to lean over a cliff. Everyone knows that.
Also, British food, not as bad as the rest of the world would have you believe is it?
😂 and nope, it definitely isn't!
I like Ginsters but they're not a patch on a proper Cornish Pasty.
My personal favourite is a traditional cornish pasty from the Padstow Pasty Company. Chough Bakery's pasties are pretty good too.
Wonderful as ever. You guys are an inspiration and your vlogs brighten my day. Keep up the good work.
So happy to hear that!
I've gotta say, even though I'm English and I've been to some of the places you have visited, your videos are really entertaining and high quality. Keep up the good work!
I’m from Dallas, Texas, but I’ve been to kingsand/cawsand near Plymouth for vacation - does that qualify me as a good tourist?
If you're heading to Wales, can we please have a video just of you trying to read and pronounce the road signs?
That would be hilarious.

BOYO
Places like Pwll, Llanelli, Pwllelli, Abergavenny and not forgetting Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. HAHA
I could do with a few lessons on this too! :)
I'm guessing that means no parking, I lived in Wales for a couple of years growing up and vaguely remember seeing that sign around :)
I feel so lucky to live in beautiful Cornwall.😄
Lucky! It’s my favourite place in the world.
Me too.
Lived at Holywell bay first (poldark beach) and now in the middle of no where on the moor surrounded by natural beauty.
Although i'm a Londoner,Cornwall is my home.
As a proud yorkshireman, this hurts, but i highly recommend the Northumberland coast and the Scottish Highlands. Both stunningly beautiful!
Thanks for a truly fantastic channel, you have the ability to make beautiful Cornwall look even more spectacular.
Cornwall IS beautiful. Thanks for this.
This is one of your best looking UK videos - thank to a (rare) decent couple of hours weather!. Just enough to capture some blue skies. I've finally got my wife hooked on your channel too now 📺
Yeah, we were pretty happy about the weather turning around. Really made this day a highlight of the trip! And glad you were able to get your wife watching 😄
So glad you at least had one clear weather day to see the beautiful countryside.
the scenery is gorgeous!
Fun Fact The Hotel that can be seen at the end of Fistral Beach 8:30 was used in The Witches.
I'm in love with Cornwall! Looks peaceful, its beauty is simple, as the place people always wants to know. Hugs guys and thank you.
+Ingrid Alcazar same here, we love the vibe!
So awesome as always ! You guys make me realise how little of the UK I've seen and yet it's where I'm from lol
😂 I need to explore more of the UK
Matthew Tasker yeah same here man 😂 however cornwall devon I have cause im from here but all the other Videos they do im thinking i need to explore my country!
Fun video to watch, thanks for sharing!
It is so nice to hear Americans in the South West and being so positive! We are a quaint land... lovely to see you visit!
Looks like y'all had a great day! Thank you for sharing!
+Paul D. Green thanks for watching 😄
Love it when your notification appears.
Love the video guys!
cool video beautiful nature and landscape love england
Glad I explored Cornwall after such a long time. And had super fun filming around. Same things we did taking hundreds of pictures literally lol!
Some day I hope to get to these beautiful places, but until then, thanks so much for your videos! Ps, can't wait to see the food video.
Can't wait for the food video. Great one as always :)
Thanks!
Lovely vlog x
i'm the exact same way when it comes to taking pictures. stopping every few feet haha hubs has learned to just keep walking and that i'll catch up to him when i'm done lol
I love Cornwall ! I've never been but my parents went a few times when they were courting way before I was born you'll love Cardiff lovely views of the Bay etc .
Allison's look at 2:06! LOL.
Its nice seeing people appreciate Britain with an outsiders view. I'd kinda forgotten about how nice parts of Britain are. Bit of a shame you didn't get to see any seals though, they love basking on the Cornish shores
I'm really enjoying these videos of yours, it is great to finally see people leaving the major tourist destinations of places like London and visiting places like Cornwall and appreciating it for how lovely it is! Although i cant help but find it odd to find places where i went to growing up and still go now like Crantock and holiday parks like Travornic on UA-cam! also it is a shame you were there now and not a week ago as i was in a few of the exact spots you stood at! Haha!
Another great upload guys, surely, a tv channel must snap you up at some point!
Thanks. And who knows, maybe some day!
Cardiff is my home town. I recommend a beer at Tiny Rebel bar opposite the millennium stadium. All brewed just 12 miles up the road, they also do delicious food.
Wowww nice hiking !!! 👍
Keep the good vlogs coming they are just so cool. Always good to see how different nationalities see us and our country. I hope we have made you all very welcome.
Oh and its clotted cream FIRST .. then jam if you like. And did anyone tell you that Newquay is our bit of California Surfing but without the warm seas ?
Awesome vlog loving the views too :D
Hii I really enjoy your channel ☺ Keep it up!
the last time I went to Torquay in Devon was about 1995 with my second eldest daughter, oh i love that place.
PLEEZE PLEEZE PLEEZE GO TO THE MIDLANDS ..i come from there originally.. Warwick castle. Stratford -on -avon, lovely cotswols scenery .. narrow boat on the Avon.. you will love that ..
I'm Cornish and I'm so happy they enjoyed our county but standing on the edge of the cliffs like that is insane we're all brought up here not to do this as most of the coastline is constantly falling into the sea.
Make sure you visit Cardiff Castle and find the legendary tunnel to Castell Coch. If you find the tunnel that would be pretty cool.
Wonderful views ! 😎
+Fran Stains 😍
Watching all your UK vids especially, and I am flying into Manchester in 19. This trip will be just there, but on a future trip I want to explore, plus I know where to eat now!!
You guys should visit York, you'd love it! It's a Roman walled city in North Yorkshire!
I am now getting ready to go get pizza, thanks guys 😋
One of the things I love about Cornwall is the landscape, another is the cream teas. I agree with Eric that the cream should go on first and then the jam. I always feel hungry when I watch these videos, I'm looking forward to the Sunday roast one :-)
+Mark Caswell team cream first! ✊️
Hi guys i am a new subscriber and live in England (east Yorkshire ) 👍. I just love your channel i am hooked, it is so good to see my country from a visitor point of view. I am slowly going through your back catalogue and I think it will take me some time. Regards colin
Loving these movies from this trip, I love Newquay. Those waters are deceptively dangerous, I got caught in some kind of tidal rip which was pulling me at a fast rate of knots towards those cliffs you can see in the distance here, was lucky to get out unharmed
Oh snap, yeah that sounds pretty scary!
It's funny how infectious the weather chat is. Whenever you guys do UK videos, it's always a point to make. Just shows how you're either getting sorta warm or cold and wet.
I've been to most of these places, living in cornwall!
7:53 beautiful reverse sweep 🏏
The North coast is spectacular, when the sun comes out to play. As you can see the craggy coves are dangerous in bad weather, local knowledge is important (smugglers genes) ha ha. The wifi is often poor yet nearly all the transatlantic cables terminate in Cornwall in places like Porthcurno next to the minack theatre and Bude, including the hotlines between UK & US security / military facilities.
We have been experiencing the same slow internet too. Trying to upload takes hours. Fun stuff in Cornwall! Had hoped to make it there this trip, but no go.
I adore Cornwall. We stayed in a cottage in the middle nowhere. Could barely even get a TV signal let alone WiFi.
It's full of folklore and ancient history , and stories of smugglers. I love its rugged coast. Rumour has it it was one reason why the Romans weren't that interested in it, as it made landing difficult.
If you go again, you have to visit St Michaels Mount. The beach is gorgous, and the castle on the island is amazing.
When we go to England we have cream tea everyday. (And I'm English!) Jam first and then dollop, don't spread, the cream on top. Then it stays fluffy and separate.
Still watching! :D
Glad you like pints. When you order one here you get extra, because our pint is 20 ounces, not 16 like in the US. Consequently our quarts and gallons are also 25% larger than American ones.
By the way, generally speaking, it's only Cornwall where the internet universally sucks like a Dyson. The rest of the UK is mostly fine.
That little cave thing was cool
Fun videos guys! You should come to Korea next - so many amazing foods! I'll show you round the south - Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongju
Love the fact you've explored England! But yeah down here on the peninsula...the internet is SHOCKING! We often switch our phones from WiFi to Data to download apps and videos, it's a nightmare! 🤣 Downside to living in a beautiful place I guess!
That's way I like living here born and rised in Cornwall
That’s a shame, sorry to hear that
Guys, you can't go to Cornwall without having a Cornish pasty!
Oh, we definitely will!
they've already done that in another video
And you can't pick up a ginsters cornish pasty at a service station and claim to have had a proper one!
Yeah but that was in the north of England!
Devonian -
"you can't pick up a ginsters cornish pasty"
Ginster's ?
Describing THAT thing as a 'Cornish Pasty' is like describing Whoopi Goldberg as an American Beauty.
It's a crime a against Gastronomy..........(the Ginster's - not Whoopi)
A friend of mine in Maine belongs to a polar bear club that goes swimming every year at the winters solstice. I go into cold shock watching all those people go into the water.
Glad you had some drier weather and got to see a bit of Cornwall's amazing coastline. It's pretty much ALL like that so if you get chance you should get back there and partake of some tales of shipwrecks and smugglers.
For the de facto pasty, visit Sarah's Pasties in Looe.
I had an amazing pasty in Looe - it had mackerel and horseradish in it, It was from a tiny shop and I never noted the name. Pretty sure that was it. sarahspastyshop.com
Wow, such views! By the way, as in your other vlogs, who does your travel music?! It's soothing lounge jazz . 🎶🎵Pretty cool.
You guys deserve way more subscribers
+Mark Hall thanks ☺️
Hi Guys. If you ever return to Cornwall, then be sure to visit Port Isaac. It's where Doc Martin is filmed. Absolutely lovely place, complete with the actual filming locations......
Guys, this is such a great video! It's so peaceful, and exciting... I can almost believe that I am on this holiday with you. Could you tell me the name of the music please? It's so soothing and beautiful!
i love watching your vids around the uk, you ever coming back? just watched the vegas vids which were fab, i stayed at circus circus and visited zion national park around 2002, amazing place
The trick is that once you are in the water it feels a lot warmer, it is the getting in bit where it feels cold, indeed after being in the water you will feel cold when you get out!
These food vlogs are making me Hungary!! By the way, a great recommendation to visit would be my hometown Portsmouth, UK. Its very historic and has great food and view!
six am gulls ha! they start at 4am where i live
😂
Always someone one upping
Cool channel guys , do some wild camping on the Wales coast path Aberdaron !!!
The water is actually warmer in the winter. Who'd have thunk it eh
Njoy guys, have good one in the UK
Thanks!
I love your videos. If you ever want to come to Bellingham, Washington, you have a place to stay for free. It's beautiful up here.
If you are ever in dorset be sure to check out maiden castle in dorchester, corfe and corfe castle near wereham as well as the steam railway down to swanage.
+Antony Mash thanks for the tip!
very nice video guys! hope you were welcomed with open arms to our beautiful county! did you get to visit Perranporth, or Falmouth, or the County capital, Truro on your visit? Summer 2017 was a hot one too!
croeso y cymru guys, enjoy caerdydd
You guys are great for British tourism. Glad you enjoy the U.K. including our food, which is very underrated. I personally think we have some of the best and freshest produce in the world. Ps The jam and the cream and which order to use them is even widely debated amongst us Brits.
Jam first always :) x
You should deffo make Bristol a destination if you plan on a south west stay guys your love it, its fantastic.
Cream first on scone=Devon
Jam first on scone=Cornwallsimple :D
Who cares! I don't, until I go to Devon or Cornwall :)
@@dinerouk I just eat it regardless, maybe troll the odd local 🤣🤣🤣
Do the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall next the views again are outstanding.
I was doing that exact same hike a few weeks ago - love seeing Americans enjoying our country. I was in Arizona for 6 months recently and absolutely loved it there too.
Nice vid
Hey if you guys are going north to wales you need to stay in a bothy. Amazing locations / experience. I know a great legal parking spot for a great one in North wales. I'm going up there soon so might even be able to meet up with you. If you want any details about bothies just ask. I also know about some non MBA bothies. You just need sleeping bags, which you have already, and a sleeping mat for insulation / comfort which got be bought cheaply from any outdoor shop , e.g for £7. And a trowel to dig a hole :) any garden shop or even some pound shops have them check on line. Fantastic experience and great wilderness locations. Sometimes you share it with other rad adventurers too!
Trevornick is one of our favourite sites! Golf course is fun!
Ahhh you guys 😆😊😊 thank you for the shout out. You are more than welcome!!! So glad you found Watergate Bay too! Honestly we do get sunshine and warm weather...occasionaly and I assure you it's delightful there when we do 😂 either that or we're just all nuts and go to the beach in the rain..."because It's Summer and we aren't missing it!!" 😂 Did you see the view from the top of the hill leaving Watergate Bay to Newquay. Absolutely gorgeous on a clear day at sunset 😍 so glad you're enjoying yourselves!!
Absolutely, thanks for the recommendation! And YES we did see that view 😍
Ahh amazing! You definitely have to go back in the future and see some more. You haven't even discovered Devon, Dorset or Somerset yet! :D
Lovely pic
The water is fine one your are in.
You should come and see the Mery Rose a 500 year old battle ship In Portsmouth.. Portchester castle is down the road a 2000 year old Roman fort / its a castle.
You should visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan! Trippy af.
Its summer so that water is about 15-18c, thats mega warm for us in the UK, don't even need a wetsuit for that :-) glad the weather cleared up for you guys. Shame you won't get to see the coast around Polzeath to Tintagel, its far more spectacular and literally 30 min drive from where you were.
look to the rumps images.on-this.website/21199_54060651651a9b8e78c066.jpg
