great video, great instructions. helped me out with better understanding the process of custom making grille for my car (since there is not one for my car at the moment). +rep
Hi Matt I must say that your work is really done well. Ive ben watching and learning from your videos and have a question. In one of your videos, you used a tool to bend the steel mesh at a 90degree angle. What is the name of that tool? Thank you much for the great videos.
Is it possible to take a grill off a yukon Denali and use jus the insert part on a yukon xl? It almost worked jus swapping the hole front grill but the daytime/parking light housing were different.
The sandpapers I used on this were likely a 200, 350, and 600 grit. For Goop substitutes, PermaPoxy can work well, and we've seen some installs where customers Bondo mesh on. I've heard of some people using Gorilla Glue on installs too, though I've yet to try it.
customcargrills I would like for you to install a mesh front on my grill. If I shipped you my grill from my 89 Mercury could you customize it for me?If so can you give me an estimate of the total cost.

It might be possible but I think it would require some very precise cuts and a some bodywork afterward to make it look right.
Thank you.
Wish you had some for challengers
I think I could make something for the Challenger. Hit me up if you happen to be local to west Michigan.
