Dude my game improvement irons will carry 150 with 76 swing speed. Got the numbers working with my coach in trackman. Mizuno has some great irons for slow swing speed!
If you know the avg distance of your irons. And if they average about 10 yards plus/ minus per club, why not change to a 8 or 6 iron and have a full swing?
Matty - you gardly seemed like you touched that. I feel like I murder my 7 iron - it has a strong loft but I can still only make 150 yard carry with my Sunday best. I'm 54 next week. Am I just past it?
I went from 80 to 90 mph club speed by learning how to relax the wrists and slow Down the transition. The relaxed snap is what creates the speed. Went from 145 to 175 avg in a matter of a few months. Before that I was swinging so hard with little results.
My man you're probably extending early and releasing the whip way before the ball, then having to muscle it to impact. If you keep the loaded lag until the last possible moment, you'll be able to swing slower, while releasing the lag for massive clubhead speed AT impact.
You have much lower spin and higher smash factor than tour pro’s. I think you deloft a lot, making a 7 iron a 6 or even 5 iron. What’s the launch angle? Consequence is that you have more roll. For short and mid irons you want stopping power, don’t you?
False numbers. Looking at your first initial swing, it would have traveled about 140 yards on the fly, if that. I didn't waste my time with the rest of your video.
Accuracy is my problem. 7i somewhere between 180 yards and 150 in the bushes on the left.
Just looks so damn smooth!
Z Forged 7i: 33°
Z585 7i: 31°
Old ping zing 7 iron is 35 degrees. I am usually about 160 with a 90 mph swing speed. The numbers makes sense.

90 mph club speed is my relaxed 7i swing, but it only flies 155 yards. Guess the rest is not good, not sure abt the other stats :)
This is like watching the old Naruto show.. Sexy justu... Just ask Bo if you dont know.. Whatta smasher...

Try lighter shafts
Sometimes I feel like my track man is off lol. It looks you’re swinging so easy but getting 91 mph when I have to swing really hard to get that
Smooth is fast my friend, you're gonna have to learn that
@@laronda10 very very true.
You're not the only one who feels that way! lol

@@golfsidekickextras it's probably not an accurate measurement, but you get the idea. These clubs are at least 13 years old and are old school.
I have callaway x20s. I think they are 2008 clubs. 7 iron is 33 degrees.

my iron shots stop next to the pitch mark...

I know what you're talking about. It's good content but viewer's brain's need to compute.. slow down the facts and all will be fine. 👍⛳
Too fast man
