Great video. Imagine what you would have missed if Oswaldo didn't have his list (in two colors!). Glad you added the note about the rerouting at the end. Whether standby or full revenue passenger, it is a good idea to always include a few travel contingency days to your trip planning.
@@will.inflight Definitely frame the list. Years from now when the format of your photos can't be read or are lost in a server meltdown, you can look at the list and remember the stories.

Hahaha ☺ I hear you!! ♥ Some on us write notes and journals still. 😂 Hahaha!! I use to write things down on paperwork that I got from from the Gate Agents and coworkers all the time. And if that information was needed in reports when I was flying then I would use it to help me to update computer reports when they were needed when I would get back to home base here in Chicago. 😂 Hahaha!

Great experience for u and Oswaldo. As for tickets, especially Polaris service, Will, you do NOT want to know what it costs. 😂. Think one could spend several weeks in this mega city and do something different every day. Know you did not do a concert, but the symphony orchestras are world class A ensembles. Very informative and entertaining. You went to a lot of trouble to vlog this. Herman
Will, I made the same mistake booking our rental car for Auckland, NZ. We were non-revs on my husband’s airline to NZ. Arrived and they told us the reservation had canceled because we arrived a day late. We had very nice vehicle reserved. However, we had to end up taking a dented Mitsubishi Marge from Avis. There were zero rentals left and we got lucky. It was a crap car but we were just glad to have wheels. Wonderful trip and video 😊
Omg you remind me of my friend who works for UA. He goes to airport see what’s open, jumps on the plane, and book his hotels during flight. My OCD wouldn’t let me live that free 😂. I was actually going to Japan this year but switch to Portugal. It’s still on my list. I can probably do it domestic but not international
Honestly I want to do that but have people pick the flight for me, might do that next year!! something about not knowing where you’re going to end up sounds exciting to me!!! I have a lot of friends that will not travel unless there is a set itinerary. I am thinking of Portugal next year, did you do Lisbon and Porto? That’s where I’d like to go. I say go all out for Japan
