totally agree, today i heard about diezel amps, i was very exited i absolutely wanted it... until i saw the price ...
then i saw this amp, IT'S EVEN BETTER !!!!!
how much does it cost ?

I think your problem is that your overstating the importance of cleans sounds. Quite frankly, your audience could care less about clean sounds..they cant tell one from the other. It doesnt excite them in any way. Its the driven sounds that separate the men from the boys..not cleans

this guy always somehow seems to make amps sound spineless, I don't know what it is. He's not a terrible player, but for some reason he doesn't demonstrate the amp's real potential. I want to hear dragon's fire coming from your speakers!

@0AllForNaught0 Thanks so much. It all makes alot more sense now, and also helps determine which amp i'm going to buy

I have one of these (like it very much) and I feel that every review I've seen of this amp is too short. In order to really give a good sense of the different sounds the amp can deliver, you'd need to spend about ten minutes demoing each of the channels.

$2900 my friend. it is also really expensive. quality comes at a price.

Most of the amps sound the same because youtube compression messes with the uploads. No studio headphones or speakers are going to truly emulate what the amp + cab can do, you'll just have to turn it up to 10 and stand in front of it yourself!!!!!!!!

Also, I believe that Jim Fryette was also the first to put a true 3 channel amp (meaning each channel has its own dedicated 3 band eq section) on the market.

any1 notice a huge noise gate and compression(well maybe not compression) on Paul's voice? He says a sentence and it goes all the way to zero, and then continues. I don't know, but it really intimidates my ear. :D

the ONLY youtube videos that have good sound for the gear are made by ProGuitarShop - people, you can NOT judge an amp by a youtube video! The sound is so whacked, it's not even funny... go play it for yourself!

man he can fairly tear the shit out of that guitar lol, good sounding amp i think its got a lot of school vintage style sounds on it, but for me id wanna save for a mesa boogie cab with a diezel head or something like that :)

Jim Freyette uses the highest quality components and are very reliable amps. He spends a lot of time engineering, designing and tweaking his amps before they are sent to the dealers. Yes, they are expensive. However, with all that Jim invests in to his amps, they are worth the $$$.

I´d say it depends on the impedance you put on your amp and the cabinet. Get some informations about it, to make shure not to brake your amp!

I actually just bought one off craigslist. And I stand corrected. Only 2 KT88's. It's not truly a full 100 watts either. But they wired it right and got damn close. It sounds freaking bad ass. I also have the Deliverance 120 and that one has 4 KT88's. I just assumed that this one had the same set up.
