Funny enough as a former mythic raider i think in practice i could manage alot of these mechanics as a healer simply due to the fact you didnt over explain anything and i was able to focus on you AND the raid mechanics at the same time while watching, huge props for that man and I'm kind of excited to raid this tier ngl! Edit: spelling lol
Great video! Super insightful and helped a lot to understand each healer's strength. As a rsham I do wish spells cost a little less as maintaining decent throughput is extremely costly but I absolutely agree that CBT with healing tide or ascendance is cazy good on the intermission. Can project them on top of boss to reach everyone and save low targets.
As I play Totemic I am seeing the mana drain but as I just better gear and understand my spec more I can limit my mana usage and I can usually ask for a innervate / pop my mana tide / mana pot so it is doable. Currently progressing through Queen Ansurek on heroic after killing silken court on Sunday. My guild are planning on doing mythic raid but we are not not World first. 😁Also, I love this raid. So many interesting bosses and on heroic + mythic they have a real challenge to them. :D
I know people generally find watching DPS blast damage more enjoyable... but these healers are absolutely insane at the game. Managing all these mechanics that demand pixel-perfect movement while simultaneously watching raid frames is just some next level shit.
Looking at those green numbers blasting all around, looking at multiple raid bars going up as a result is so much more satisfying than watching 1 target bar health going down. After experiencing it during DF season end, I'm maining healer in raids now.
I mean pres is quite OP, don't kid yourself Ironically if pres weren't as OP as it is it makes me wonder if some of these fights were even killable, seemed like pres is the main reason they even were
Aside from its mana savings, what are the benefits of the Lightweave talent? I struggle to use it appropriately and have been opting to not spend the point on it
Better spot healing in general. Trail is cheaper to use compared to Dragonflight, your aoe heals are just weak in general and Pally spot heals are good but not as strong as they were in beta
Its synchronicity as a whole. You get two spends with mana efficiency, and increased healing. There's also additional talents Jak has talked about before that provide a boost after casting a holy word spell. With apotheosis it also further the cds of the holy words. I'm now running it in raids and m+ at both a high level and its becoming my favourite talent build
Insane single target healing. Which with how many boss fights work, feels better to use in raids than other talents surprisingly. Usually Halo or other healer CDs can cover the raid damage, and you can blast 2mil Heals into people, which feels better than wimply hitting 5 people with a 100k Prayer of Healing. Im hoping they remove a lot of the aoe healing fluff from priest so that PoH and PoM can be strengthened as a result, cuz right now theres so many options that the power budget got spread really thin
hey i just discovered you and finally gave Cell a try after your video on it. how do you do something like that one healer who made peoples health bar turn orange when they had a certain debuff? i want to try something similar but with the stinging swarm in Silken Court
So what was Cere casting? Did he even use AOE healing spells? Cause I find them so weak, thats why I switched to Disc, but my Disc numbers are dropping now =(. I just want to know how to raid heal as holy
I main resto druid and I guess I was in the 99th percentage on logs in heroic last week. I dint use a cookie cutter spec from a website, I pick talents on my play style and what makes since to me.
Thanks for this. We so rarely get any attention for these healers. I didn't even know they were using flameshaper. I've just been rocking chronowarden and having so much fun with it
Fights with double disc priest: It's fine and okay. Fights with double Pres evoker: Clearly OP XD I just had to comment. So many boss fights with double disc in the past, and yet suddenly double evoker is broken.
@@Gamakatana not really from my limited experience. It has a good kit but optimising it and making good decisions when sh*t hits the fan is where you can really dig into your class. It requires way more mental work than other healers where its mostly „health low, press a healing button“. When you make a bad decision as pres it really hurts your hps
Man, awesome analysis. Really interesting to hear how much thought is going into the healing tactics; having you on the caster team is invaluable.
Thank you bro!

I tried Cere’s talent build on our Heroic kill last night and found it worked really well!
where can i find that build ?
should have the same build on my wowhead guides. I have Salv instead of Apoth mainly for the Heroic crowd

Great breakdown of the healing, a few of us will have picked up some tips from this.
Sick video, I'd love more like this
Thank you!
I didnt think about the range being a factor in him dying. I thought he just wanted to free cast without moving. Good to know.
Love this type of video. Feel like is something wow has been missing, especially from the healing space.
The increased stamina from Resto Shamans also helped a lot and would kinda offset the boss mechanic executing you when you dropped to 10% hp.
great video. ppl on wowhead and twitter are just crying about pres evoker without actually knowing about healing
I mean pres is quite OP, don't kid yourself

thanks for the vid!
Excellent video 💯
Thanks!
nick is such a chad

Its very mana efficient

Shaman also used vigor with chain heal totems to increase the entire raids max health
Where can I watch cere's POV?
Hopefully Cere uploads some of his POV at some point, been a while since anything popped up on his channel.

Its in my Cell guide but you basically make a new filter with the color setting
I took a sip of beer every time he said profile, I'm now 3 min into the video and I see double! ...Hic!
where to get nicks weakaura for evoker?
How can he fight outside of dragon form? I would try evoker. If u dont need to be a nasty bad looking dragon
And here i am on my restoration druid beeing told from my guildies "Its alright buddy, we know ❤". 😢
How do we change the color of cell frames to highlight a specific debuff/buff?
Indicators in Cell and add a new indicator, setting the debuff ID to mark the frames
So what was Cere casting? Did he even use AOE healing spells? Cause I find them so weak, thats why I switched to Disc, but my Disc numbers are dropping now =(. I just want to know how to raid heal as holy
Nah he was full single target
The healer balance this season is so trash. Shaman is so overloaded with good shit especially for m+ it makes me mad
Man healing winners and losers in tww so far is pretty drastic.
I main resto druid and I guess I was in the 99th percentage on logs in heroic last week. I dint use a cookie cutter spec from a website, I pick talents on my play style and what makes since to me.
How it was healed. Preservation and Aug Evoker. Done
There was no Aug evokers
cool!
Based on these healing meters I'd say it's time for another 6% nerf to hpal
Thanks for this. We so rarely get any attention for these healers. I didn't even know they were using flameshaper. I've just been rocking chronowarden and having so much fun with it
Buff Pres
Divine Mandate

👍👍👍👍
cant wait for the race to end so blizzard can nuke that class tbh
Although i get your point, Nick consistently did 2.7m hps during intermission, not like they didnt do heal like crazy there aswell 😂
Where’s the M+ raids blizzard?
Prevoker is good but hard. Not OP.
In mythic raid, the are 4th most popular
And only 9% uses Prevoker in the top 2000 m+ runs
double of the same healer is disgusting. Something is fundamentally wrong if thats the right choice
Best Healing tuning weve ever seen.
Fights with double disc priest: It's fine and okay.
Fights with double Pres evoker: Clearly OP
XD
I just had to comment. So many boss fights with double disc in the past, and yet suddenly double evoker is broken.
The thing is that even a toddler could play Pres.

WHAT IS THAT HEALING FRAMES HE WAS USING
Cere uses cell
