Nowadays the developers puts so little effort and the idea of DLCs was truly a mistake, this game is on PS2 and 10 or 20 years old by now and it’s better than most of the new games today

Taking a trip through memory lane before 6. Gotta say though this game really did something to me when I was younger. The RPG Mode, Character Creation, Shops, Arena, Graphics and Music just made my day. I loved going through it all, and it was just an amazing experience each and every day.

Classic! Definitely one of the best fighting games ever, miss this era... this intro was one of the bests too for sure. There's no dlc costs there too, oh i miss this era.

The Character Selection Screens in The 1st 2ed 3rd and 4th is way better The Character Selection Screens in The 5th and 6th is Worst I Miss Nightmare's Voice in this Game in English and Japanese I don't Like His Voice in The 5th and 6th want Him to Go Back to these Moves and Fighting Style Stance let The Inferno be Nightmare always that's Realistic Graf Dumas being Nightmare is Fanasty They need to Change it Back to just having 1 Nightmare on Soul Wiki not Nightmare (Siegfried Schtauffen) (Inferno) or (Graf Dumas) not Astaroth (1st 2ed) or Yamoguchie (1st 2ed) that's not Realistic just Fanasty wish they fix the same Soul Calibur Games without remakes reboots remasters updates and no upgrades including Namco Bandai defusing along with fixing Tekken Series to have canon storylines only

All these years (I'm 15) I'd have these random words appear in my head but they classified as names in my mind and it was always Voldo, Nightmare, Yoshimitsu, Cervantes, Tira, and Talim. I never knew what the hell they were, they just registered as people but no faces popped up whenever I thought about it; though I would hear the noises they made or visualized Tiras weapon. A couple hours ago I was thinking about it and the word SoulCalibur came to mind. I searched it up and now I don't understand how I could have forgotten my favorite game. Voldo and Nightmare were my favorite characters, Yoshimitsu and Cervantes being my brothers, and the last two were my mothers. I can't believe I actually remembered our fav characters but can't remember where I put things down.

SCIII: 25 characters and each chars has his own stage (that means over 25 stages) and no dlc.
SCVI: 21 characters, only 11 stages and 3 season pass

Best Soul Calibur in my opinion. It had the best roster, a high replay value, and a lot of different stuff to do or modes to play. You got arcade, practice, missions, Tales of Souls, Chronicles of the Sword, World Competition, the museum, character creation, and the shops.
The best of the best! So much content. Character creation had so many options specially with weapons.
Man.....unlocking Amy was a pain in the ass for me......

If it was modern time DLC: Yoshimitsu, Rock, Sophitia, Cervantes, Lizardman and Abyss would all be DLCs, with Olcadan being a bonus for purchasing all DLC characters. Most of the CAS weapon styles from the "!" category would all be paid options (like Amy's weapon style).
Also, additional modes like Tales of Souls and Mission modes are paid DLC modes.
Anyhow, I loved the olden days where all content was ready in the beginning and extra content being unlocked without needing to buy again.
I miss these back in the day where hidden characters arent DLC
i really loved the character designs here and i would always anticipate it every soul calibur game but 3 just really takes the cake. it's just so original for me and i liked how they deviated from the second game designs but still remain true to each character's aesthetics.

I just played SC2 and I'm glad so many characters return. I don't know what those Bonus Characters are (DLC?) but somehow they seem like random created default characters

Favorite Soul Calibur so far, yes even now with SC6 while I like it, I still prefer SC3 thousands of times more. And I am so glad I can still play it nowdays, but I definitely want a Remaster of this game.
