I am a Brazilian animator and I can understand your frustration very well. Large-scale projects are unfortunately not sustainable and we need to make many simple videos to have the necessary income for more expensive ideas. Right now we are producing a series with 10 animators, but while it is being made we also have simpler videos coming out weekly, so we can keep all the employees without worrying about the financial return of the big project. ❤
@@zamination2897 Yeah, if you want to know something as well, I'm thinking about starting an indie animation series in the distant future, I can't tell you much, but I'll tell you that it's in a work of progress, but I'll have to do 2d since I'm broke and do everything myself 😥
I’m really glad that you guys are willing and able to show us what happens behind the scenes!! It brings so much more life, meaning and dedication to the channel!!
You guys have just opened an insane opportunity with this project and while the scope off the production got a bit out of hand it down right came out incredible and I hope you make more of these unique stylized animations in the future. A++ from me!
Here, almost a month ago, a playlist was added for the first time, (Production Stories) and one video Follow the orders, I hope they will also add/make the Happy Place video that they added 5 days ago. 🙃
You guys did amazing. It is such a hard process changing your entire art direction you have been doing for years to a brand new more complicated direction. I really think it paid off for you guys and even got your studio a better reputation! I can't wait to see what you make next!!
Your Minecraft Music Videos were already super well animated but this is probably your guys's most visually impressive Music Video yet it was nice getting a deep dive on how it all came to be wouldn't mind seeing more of these 👍🧡🧡🧡🧡
This was the best animation Ive seen you guys do, it's nice to see how it was created, made, etc. I've been watching you guys for a while now and you guys make me so inspired. Keep up the good work you guys earn every penny you make from these videos!
5:12 I understand about the slowed progress because you got the full time jobs in glitch productions and the creative control song which you composed was the best one yet
Honestly, I had no idea how much went into every animation! Can't get over how much I liked the newest song, it's been repeating in my head for weeks now. This made me check out other songs in your channel too, and they're all great! I love the new animation style too, completely amazing. Thank you so much!
Can't wait for the Zamination Tutorial series to return!! 🔥🔥 Also Amazing Video!! its really interesting to see all of details of the process behind the scenes!
really entertaining watch, I wasn't aware that "scope creep" was also something prevalent for animators as well, I thought it was coined and used solely by developers but it makes sense
I am on this channel since the Wacky World video, and I've seen your other projects earlier (like these FNAF animations), and I'm absolutely in LOVE with what you're doing! You all have done a great job and I hope you will always remember that you are the best!!!
Love you guys you do amazing work I love your music videos I love yo Freddy and friends I've been watching ever since I was 5 I love you guys I hope you keep going on doing whatever you want and keep the channel loading
I mean it seems like your efforts really paid off the video ended up doing more than amazing. I especially loved it! Honestly i think I've rewatched it around 5 times now I also really fucking respect the fact that you guys made two endings for the music video, I'm sure that costed a decent amount extra as well
A music video with a style of 3D way & moves of the characters & places & monsters is so awesome & cool & the moment on 1:46 on song Called Follow The Orders on ZAMination channel was a masterpiece thing, wasn’t expecting it would be THAT best part & truly congratulations that the music hit to 1M Views & hope it get much really, fr you guys cook it up !!!
This was an extremely useful explanation of how projects like can go way past the original scope. I’m curious though on how you plan on avoiding it in the future. Do you plan to cut out expensive steps of the process like color strips and unique rigs, or do you plan on keeping all these steps but use your experience to tell when it's going overboard?
Great question! We definitely want to budget the videos more thoroughly before they enter production, focusing on key moments and scenes that deserve extra attention compared to others. The experience gained from creating this video will definitely be a huge help for future projects. One major contributing factor to the budget was creating everything from scratch, which required extensive R&D time but was only used for a single music video. Ideally, these assets could be reused across multiple projects to maximize their value. If we see increased support for another Lethal Company music video, it would be much easier to produce since we now have most of the assets ready. Hope that makes sense!
Man That Is Alot Of Time And Also I THANK YOU ZACH AND MICAH FOR MAKING MY CHILDHOOD THE BEST WITH UR VIDEOS!!❤❤❤ I CANT WAIT FOR THE FUTURE VIDEOS!!!!❤
I had never watched your videos beforehand, but I am absolutely impressed with Follow the Orders-it's incredibly inspiring to see an indie studio tackle something that has the quality and amazing execution of those big-budget Hollywood animated films. I will say that it's a little disheartening to learn that it was so taxing (especially budget-wise) so I'm really hoping that all of this work pays off as much as it should-I'm not really a fan of the Minecraft style for animations myself, so I'm personally looking forward to any more experimental animations from you all in the future. Congratulations on such an amazing and inspiratory artistic endeavor!
Wanna know what this animation makes me think of? The characters seem to function a lot like the "League of Super Evil" which is a funny concept to me.
I think one of the coolest things about this video was that we got a bit of behind the senses early. and when I say we I mean me and like a couple of people playing webfishing with thebaddest and ZAM, good times.
I had never watched any of the animations before cause I had never been interested in minecraft or mascot horror animations. But I heard someone comparing the style akin to spiderverse and yea, I can definitely see the similar vibes they were referring to that are shared with the inspirations mentioned here. The animation was absolutely amazing, I completely get reeling in the scope creep for future projects, but I do have to say that this style is just phenomenal and really stands out a lot in the best way
I don’t animate but I do want to get into it but this whole video taught me scope creep and makes me understand more why things like this take time and money.. edit: we don’t talk about don’t come crying
This was an incredible animation and I’m all for breaking out of the Minecraft style! I would love to see more creative ideas AS LONG AS you don’t succumb to scope creep again! Burnout’s hard enough without that creeping in!
The cost would be more worrying if it didn't have love and soul put into the animation, which it VERY MUCH DID! Congrats to you guys for getting this out, We'll be sure to keep supporting you
I don’t know if you guys will see this comment since this was from a few days ago. But I would love to see the main Fnaf 1 characters in this round and bouncy style. The first reason is because I love Fnaf, though the second reason is because I love this new animation style you guys are going for. Also by the way, I have always wanted to be an animator and you guys have really inspired me! I am so excited to see what you guys create next! I ❤️ y’all!!!
If they have a Patreon, I would gladly pay for their stuff man. That animation shouldn't be free but Zaminations is passionate to animations and to their fans
