Played NMS for the first time in 2024, all of these updates were so damn good, fishing is kinda boring, but it's good having it, since it adds even more immersion to the universe!
I‘m playing since 2016. This year was one glorious year for No Man‘s Sky. The worlds update, the massive biome overhaul which came with it and the range in diversity of the expeditions was huge! Can’t wait for the next year… Great video as always man! 🙌
@Bunkz, you TOTALLY miss the point of Aquarius. Updates like Worlds Part 1, Aquarius and cross saves were added to No Man's Sky to prove / test the technology that is going to be used in Light No Fire. Features like procedural generation, water physics, fishing and cross saves are most definitely going to be core features in Light No Fire. As such I expect more technical updates in Worlds Part 2, notably mutliple biomes on a planet in order to test the technology needed to have transitions between neighbouring biomes that seem realistic. Along with this Hello Games will need to work out which biomes can and cannot be adjacent.
Thank you for making so much great NMS content! It's amazing to see the longevity of the game and that even after many hours of gameplay there are still amazing things to see and do!
Storage management, ability to own more ships, more building plans/blueprints, (improved building engine?), I'm only 500 hours in, and I'm blown away by how much more there is to find. Almost daily. Ship customization is a must, just the ability to change or put decals on your ship would be welcomed. Haven't started the bug hunt yet, I really don't like those damn bugs, but prolly right before it ends, just to much going on, and, got to keep that fleet working. Happy New Year everyone. Aoxo
An update I'd like to see is the ability to collect sentinel ship parts, and a multi-part ship customisation hangar that players need to build themselves. This would be like an NMS lego set with building instructions. This kind of feature would require more ship slots and perhaps another inventory/storage container for the new parts. I'd also like to have a way to customize the freighter exterior parts and class. Maybe if besides the space stations, there could be massive freighter docking and assembly stations located in special systems? (I love finding new things in space) For the Worlds part 2 update I'm hoping for watery worlds, gas giants, planets with dunes, and rivers. High expectations? No Man's Sky-high!
I started playing during the Aquarius expedition and didn't know what the expedition terminal was until a few days before it ended. Anyhoo, all the major updates were in place when I started so I haven't experienced anything significant changing. I'm enjoying playing the replays of expeditions so I can get stuff I don't have, but it's getting about time for me to move on to another game that will take up most of my gaming time. I'd like NMS to be a game I keep installed and come back to every so often though. I'd like to be able to find an abandoned space station (they're so sad and spooky!) and then go through a series of lengthy missions to gradually restore it to a fully functioning station. Along with that, it sure would be nice if there were an extra hanger in there to store more ships, and maybe more multi-tools. They seem to want us to collect, but space for collectors is limited.
@@KentoLeoDragon NMS is definitely a game you can just jump back into every now and again, I do the same sometimes. I would love to be able to fully restore an abandoned space station, that would be so good
Exploration in this game undoubtedly is the best I've ever had,but personally, the endgame is base building. I saw so many magnificent bases. That adds more points of interest to the open world part in this game because i love visiting & exploring them all. With glitches technique, people create unthinkable & very unique structures. I wish HelloGames would give a huge update on this feature. People's creativity is limitless if you give them tools & resources. Different planets, different environments, different terrain have huge potential as a blank canvas for people to add their own color.

I love this game have 400+ hours on it since release I have a black and red atlas aestetic look with my character, atlas hemlet , backpack , staff , pirate dreadnought, all 30 of my frigates are black pirate 10x gek , 10x vykeen and 10x korvax, all my squadron ships are sentinal s tier black like my main black and red x type sentinal ship with 11 thrusters I did the sqaudron glitch before the patch when you could trade ships with aliens in space stations then recruit them with the starship you traded them with sad they patched it, they should add it as a feature in future being able to pick your own starship for your sqaudron from your freighter/dreadnaught manage fleet menu
I have never gone fishing in the game. That's just not why I play NMS. That being said, I still like to have the option, and it's a pretty neat side thing that you can do if you want to. I see it like some of the characters outfit options. Just because I don't use or like them doesn't mean they are bad. And who knows, maybe I'll give fishing a shot just for fun at one point
The addition of fishing might not be a high impact update, but I've played a lot of online games with good fishing mechanics and it definitely has some value, if not just bringing in a different kind of player. It's basically in a beta phase at the moment, so it's not too impressive, but it works well and adds something else to do.
I love fishing irl, but I don't understand why games keep adding fishing to games as an update. Completely pointless imo but 🤷🏻♂️ Aside from that though I've finally after all these years been able to sit down and really play and put some time into nms and I love it. I hope they keep adding to it
New player for about 1 month. The game is great! My only complaint is the amount of ships I can have. 12 is too few. I can only imagine veteran players that already have 12 loved ships having to scrap at least one to go ship hunting for parts to build their own. Also, the expeditions banner should be on the homescreen. Even if its a replay. I almost didnt play this last expedition replay, because the option is under "new gameplay", not in the main homescreen. Anyway, Ive been loving the game so far, Ive gotten sidetracked a lot. And, I guess Ill have to create multiple saves, if I want to go ship hunting sentinels or for parts. Ps I havent fished once
My only issue with no mans sky is having to do expeditions to gain items and ships. I hate expeditions because I play No mans sky in an extremely ADHD way. I heavily hop around and cannot spend any time focusing on any specific goal. Rebuilding a character for those expeditions drains my interest too quick.
I always thought that you do expeditions for specific rewards But ships and weapons can be obtain while Just playing the game and let's be honest here for a moment : you only have 6 multitool slots iven thought there are plenty of amazingly good looking multitools that you want to have with you But you can't, why?? Well 6 multitools is a joke after all those years of development. Same Goes for ships, you can find/customize ships in vanilla and guess what?? They're still can be better than those in expedition, like...BRUH HELLO GAMES!! increase slots god freaking damn it! Same for pets, 18 slots iven thought you'll find like gazilion of different ones across the Universe.

Have you made content passed release on ship building. Not really. I guess my point is ship building kinda makes hunting lacluster
The game keeps crashing on me. Other than that I think it's been a great year for NMS. Would love to see some new building item's and new content.
