The game needs fun and rewarding gameplay or it wont reach that massive audience. Its cool the map is huge, but if people are bored with the exploration with little to do it wont last long. The RPG side of things will make or break the game, so i hope they get it right and make it super fun to play.

Impossible now. I've gone here on previous saves and gotten them, but now I only have a half dozen options showing in the transporter, and only two are glyphs. Kind of annoying that the glyphs are not clearly marked.

I did the grind for S class. I had a S class freighter that looked kinda like the star trek ship. I got that one at the beginning of the game out of luck and decided that if I got a chance to do an exploit for an S class dreadnought I’d do it. Took me like 3 hrs. 2 at night and 1-1.5 in the morning. Worth it for me but I can see how it wouldn’t be for others

Haha, I’ve also encountered living rocks that run when you laser them. It would have been cool if I managed to feed it. I also found a flaming planet with two different robot animals and I decided to get one of them.

Bought the game when it launched played for a bit then stopped because of the glitching and bugs. Never returned it though. I kept it knowing eventually all the bugs will get worked out ( I was really hoping) and I'm happy I kept it because I've just start we d playing again a few days ago from where I left off and a huge difference. Smoother. Hardly ever glitches. It glitched twice. Other than that. It's an awesome game.

NEver see expeditions harder than 2. Anyone know how to unlock harder Expedition? Got a Killa Fleet already

So far it just looks like a reskin of no mans sky, which isnt a bad thing, but unless they build a proper combat system with actual enemies to fight and bosses and unique loot, then the game will be dead on arrival, and given that there is essentially no combat in no mans sky other then the piss poor robot fights, I have yet to have any confidence. I have to imagine that they'll include whatever combat system they have in mind into no mans sky in some form or another long before light no fire gets a release date, because why wouldn't they when it's clearly the exact same engine and NMS expedition would be the perfect place to do a mass play test. Yet. nothing even remotely like that has been tried out on NMS... I have a feeling that this will be released under the concept of "it's about exploration"... but I'm sorry, if it doesnt have combat, bosses, loot, dungeons, adventure, NPCs with a decent AI wandering about, villages, all that stuff... then it will be completely boring and pointless. NMS suffers from this exact problem already, it's fun for a bit, but theres really nothing to do in it. I really really hope that the devs can make this a proper rpg style game with the no mans sky exploration and scale, but I'm doubtful.

Im about 7 hours in, and the easiest method i found to use at the start is the store. My first 2 solar systems have a wild price difference on 3 items, so i buy and sell every time the inventory refills. Managed to buy a B class ship a couple of hours in.

I got lucky. And my first frigates fight had an A class 6 notch venator or whatever its called.... Not looking back. I bookmarked it since its next to the base i built qnd its outlaw. So i restock there sometimes and peek at the class incase. Its been b at best since.

We need more space to store ship's.

I'd like there to be an option for solo planet or multiplayer planet. That way, you could explore solo without other players having discovered that. I know I doubt they'll do that, but it would be fun to just roam this huge world completely solo, discovering everything myself with no other players having discovered it. I think I'm asking for far too much here 😂

Right on. I leave off the power armour until I have 8 cores. One thing; water is your friend. Take Aqualad and you can explore further without unwanted encounters without fast travel. Every Bethesda game (especially New Vegas) crashes so save a lot. You need hacking and lockpicking one to get some of the power armour and fusion cores. Also thay earn experience. Do NOT take Idiot savant. Level up too fast and you'll have to put too many levels in combat perks to survive. Do not put 10 in any Ability. Bobbleheads will get you to 10 if you have a 9.11 in any stat gives you such a small boost it's not worth it. Survival has easier combat then Very Hard and it has a higher Legendary drop rate. Creatiion Club has sales, never buy any CC at full price as if you wait you can get CC for free or almost free. Arm your settlers with the best weapons you can. They will often take off armour but they will keep weapons you give them. Do not give settlers shotguns or pistols as they will run up right nest to baddies and get killed. Long range weapons only. Walls do nothing for a settlement if you are not there. Build spotlights turrets and guard posts. Grow Corn, Mutfruit and tatos in every settlement to make vegetable starch or you will run out of adhesive a lot.

These would be so much better if they where the streamers actual bases like make content about your own creations not someone else’s where you can’t use there shit or change the landscape it’s so stupid be more yourself

Dogmeat is a great big pain in the ass always walking away when I want to trade with him or just being in the way and yelping, using up all my stimpacks, he can stay home.
