Hearing the combination of a V8 and a turbo, really makes me consider turbocharging mine one day in the future, although I do love the supercharger wine too not sure what I want to go with.

Guys I have a 2v saleen and I put a t1 blower on it and it ran fine for years but it broke recently. I need to have the motor rebuilt with forged parts but I don’t know a shop I can trust. I would love to build a turbo 2v like this. Any advice would be appreciated. I am will to take the engine out of town to a good company as long as there a great builder.

That might be a 3 valve setup. I had a 94 Thunderbird with the 3 valve per cylinder engine. Was very reliable and sold it with 170K miles with no issues.
I like the side exhaust. I guess that's complimentary with turbs. Very nice my friend. And the vented driver's side valve cover for improved Positive Crankcase Ventilation system. People need to realize that one.
I have a bumper exit on my 13 gt, by the time the exhaust gas reaches the tire, even in that short distance, the heat drops so much it has zero effect on the tire.
I agree! I actually took that v8 engine and threw it into my 1966 mustang. Got the old school look but the new performance. Absolutely loved filming and building it. Such a fun project!
I would have to agree with you on that one. The single exhaust on a v8 just doesn't seem right. I swapped in the 4.6 into my 1966 on my channel. I eventually will supercharge it just to keep that true dual 2.5" exhaust
You should man believe me I was a big JDM guy before I got my first car, a Redfire '03 Mustang GT, to be fair I see myself as just a car guy who loves and appreciates nearly all car cultures and my love and respect has grown more for classic and modern American cars since then.
I've owned a Supra, an MR2, a Datsun 200sx, and an Integra. All fun cars in their own way. I've had a few muscle cars too. Currently my fun car is a 98 Trans Am. I just love cars in general.
I had a 1998 with a Vortec 11 lb of boost no intercooler and I beat the piss out of that car for 30,000 miles and sold it. It never blew up I did pop one head gasket in the beginning when I bought the car with 5,000 miles this was in 1999-2000 it had alot of detonation at high boost I was told but I was young and didn't no any better
You're lucky it lived at 11 psi with no intercooler. Keeping it cool and giving it good fuel is the best ways to keep one alive. That and don't give it too much rpm.
The 2v makes just as much power and torque as the old 302 did if not more (new edges are more) and will make the same or more power na or boosted with less cubic inches. Forged internals in both and the 2v can take way more a 302 needs an aftermarket block to match what a forged internal factory block 2v can do. I'm not sure why the 2v is seen as a "lesser" engine other than 4.6 doesn't "sound" as good rolling off the tongue as "5.0". They definately "sound" every bit as good or better exhaust wise that is facts. Nothing wrong with the mod motors just too many people misunderstand them or just go by what others say. Too many sheep.
People sleep on these cars when you give them some forced induction, I put mine on the bottle and gave it some gears and a tune, I go out trolling on the weekends sometimes LOL

What exhaust setup do you have. I boosted my 03 GT. Making 470hp @12lb boost. I have borla atak no cats and it sounds like shit until i hit around 3k rpm. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance
Bumper dumper. Lol. No shops around me want to touch it without cats. No cams, just bagged and boosted. I had borla stingers but they were way too quiet. What shops would do the fender exhaust. How can i find Caden the guy hes taking about in the video?

3 days to build good god. My 4v is taking much longer than that. The 76mm upgraded turbo does NOT fit easy. The front dump is an easy way out for routing the exhaust though, not surprised he went that way for the ease of installation/cool factor. 3 days from stock kmember and everything? Wow

Don’t know for sure. But I’m guessing it’s because the small amount of room you have down there. I have a 2000 gt and just got headers put on it and there’s barely any room down there. You have to drop the k member to get them in so with turbo headers it’s probably hard to do.

It’s not a time bomb you all just think the stock blocks can’t handle power when in actuality they can you’re spending 10 grand building a motor for 500hp when the stock block can handle it just fine

Part of the bad rap for mustang owners is definitley that they spin out! Ive almost been killed by other mustang owners who are trying to show off while im just chilling in the slow lane. One guy actually almost spun out in his 2013ish Cobra the other day and swereved into my lane then almost curb checked his rear end in a massive fishtail in heavy rush hour traffic. He thought he was hot shit for that too i bet. Every mustang owner ever pulls up next to me and drops a gear. I dont wanna race man I just wanna get to work without spilling hot coffee everywhere and I want to be able to hear my tunes. I love the noise my mustang makes when its going SLOW more than anyting so I dont drive mine like a dick unless im on a wide open highway. Perhaps I should sell it for a fast luxury car haha

With the exhaust port ahead of a single front tire, I'm curious if the heat causes any odd tire wear.
