Thank. You for showing the "older" things as well as newer models. Because my Handiquilter has run like a champ for over a decade I still have the "old" bobbin winder that came with the machine.
I do not understand the difference between needle systems. Could you explain that? Also, there are two needle sizing systems. You mentioned sizes 12-20. I am more familiar with sizes like 100, 90, 80, 70. What is the explanation of these two different needle sizing systems? I really want to understand the technical differences between these needle systems and sizing. Thank you.
When you see the two numbers for the same needle the largest number is used in the metric system and defines the needle shaft diameter in hundredths of a millimeter. The smaller number (which you are used to) is the number used in the United States and is also used to indicate the diameter of the needle shaft. The most commonly used needle sizes for the quilting machines are 16/100 and 18/110. If you need further assistance please contact Handi Quilter. Thanks, Cheryl Duncan Handi Quilter Studio Educator
I finally know that I will be using my Sit down and full framed Longarm with your simply understandable instructions and tips! Alleluia!

I would like to know more about the bobbin winders.
I get the random loops on the back while using Omni threads, just had this start...wonder if wrapping around the disc twice will help.
will the dial feature work on the Crown Jewel II?
