I know they are rare, but I would love to see a video on a Bmw 1M Coupe.
I’d jump straight on the opportunity to do a video on one, but as you say they’re very rare.
I thought state 1 was perfectly enough until I drove Stage 2. What people don't understand is that it is more about the refinement and overall quality with Stage 2. The car feels perfect in Stage 2 whereas in Stage 1 you can tell it's a simple augmentation. With Stage 2 with the supporting mods, it really gives the motor more quality, faster spools and overall more of that "R" feel. Stage 2 isn't THAT much faster for all intensive purposes but the driving dynamics are different.

I have an R, sitting on 380HP, and I assure you, it really is better ;) Although, the GTI has got a much cooler look, can't deny that.
Not a fan of the MK7 shape but this 7.5 has tickled my interest. Wont be giving up my future classic MK6 R anytime soon though.

Love the video’s would like to see more of a conversation with the owner about their car, ask them questions about it and make it more personal to the owner, even if they didn’t want to be filmed they can still talk without showing their face. Keep up the good work, your video’s get better and better every time i watch.
Most of time the owners don't chat really that's why Hamza does the chatting/review.Hope that explains.

Put me down for an S3 video, I like this guys Golf and even though its still a low end remap you have to say there's a lot of cash tied up in that car, just right for me, anything quicker would change the car dynamics too much I think, this way it's still a usable Golf, thumbs up, keep them coming

I wonder how much closer the gap would be in terms of dynamics between the Golf R and your S3 if you had 19" wheels and PS4S's. Are you considering ever going Stage I on your S3 before you get rid of it? Cheers.

Hm, the Performance Brake are just other discs, and this one got no dynaudio and no akrapovic exhaust so no fully loaded 😅 but also a really nice car. My R is lapiz blue and got the grey pretorias which is my fav for this car.

You need to drive one with an Akrapovic exhaust. Completely changes the character.
I agree the golf r has a more playful chassis and handling is sharper. The standard seats are far better in the golf and even with the super sport seat in the s3 they still didn't give me the support I need. The dsg gearbox in the s3 also reacted slower compared to the golf r. I hope vw will build the rumoured R420 as I'll be straight down and part ex my golf mk7.5 gti. Yes I bought the gti instead, I liked the look and the classic interior cloth is cool.
Great video bro enjoying your content as always. The R is nice I've remapped my S3 with a custom tune now to just over 390bhp and its without question quick but the lag and general lack of aggressiveness is missing for me in these cars. Getting into an M3 CP start of next year so I'm looking forward to that, looking at doing the bootmod3 upgrade for it! Can't wait to drive a car with some real character ! Your last M4 video was too sick. Looking forward to some more content on the M2 aswell!
ASRmann Thanks bro! Yeah I agree, these still don’t have that raw/aggressive feel but I guess that’s maybe the point. M cars are perfect for that, you’ll enjoy the M3 for sure 👌🏼
The sound is nothing compared to the glorious sound of the R32 you reviewed.
My CUPRA has DCC and the ride is rock hard in Cupra mode! Individual is the setting to use, suspension in comfort everything else in go fast mode

Great videos, Please brother. Invest more on the rolling shots, make sure its more rolling shots of the car cruising, speeding, doing city run around's. It makes it easier for us (me) to dream. Some of us ain't lucky as you to drive the actual machine.

Jason Mack Hi, M2 still feels more punchy, extra displacement definitely helps. R still has that slight bit of lag at times
How does the Golf/S3 with a stage 1 compare to your M2 for straight line speed ?
Iain Similar pace but with a bit more lag, 3.0 I6 in the M2 has more reserve on tap imo

Yep. Golf R nails it. Problem is that you can’t get a new one to your own spec. I ordered in May....advised I am unlikely to get it this year!!

Robinho's Left Foot Didn’t really notice much extra lag compared to standard, there still is that slight bit of delay that they all have anyway
Have to say this one looks good in this colour especially with the black trim in the bumper. Always preferred the GTI to the R before as the R always looked too square at the front, the GTI looked sleeker. Not sure if they have changed the front bumper design but now looks sleeker. Also the rear lights look far better than the pre facelift lights.

good sleeper car with good options vw does offer a performance exhaust at 3000 pounds,i don't think it needs it.
Sorry, but it's not really fully specced.
It's missing the "dynaudio" sound system. It does not have keyless entry. And it does not have the "self park" feature. It does not have winter Package with the engine warmer. And it does not have heated windscreen. It doesn't look to have a trailerhook either.
So it's no where near fully specced.

The car is good, however it does not appear to have all the extras. In fact it's not got many extras apart from what you'd expect as standard on an R, e.g. It hasn't even got park assist.
Each to their own and all that,but i think a performance car should look as fast as it goes,but these Golfs look dull.
For me part of the fun of owning a performance car is that you can stand back and admire it’s looks and the fact that it turns heads wherever you go,which in turn gets people talking to you about your car,which i personally enjoy.
