I saw him at an Alabama State Fair when I was about 15. He was playing in the beer tent and the bouncer let me stand at the door and watch him. I had no idea who he was but I knew his music was thumpin'! He closed his eyes when he played the fiddle. I didn't realize who he was until years later. I'm 59 now so that was a long time ago.
Just a little FYI Charlie was a self taught fiddle player that never took any lessons!!! Seen him in concert 3 times and got to meet him once. One of the nicest people you could ever meet! RIP Charlie 😢
I want to see your brother watch The Devil. I saw Charlie live in 1984. Loved every minute of it. It was awesome. Look for some Volunteer Jams. They were a yearly event he put together.
Ok, first commented before i had watched all of your video. I see at the end you asked for a live performance. I have a suggestion for that but its not CDB. Its HWJr. He has a consert on a USS battleship for the Navy. He does a song called "Man of Steel"! Exellent show!!!!! Or another live would be "Outlaw women" also by Hank Williams Jr. Again, great performance!!!!
Hey there ya beautiful man😁🙏🏻❣️. Just had you show up in my feed and I'm extremely 😊❣️. Yours and Pegasus reactions are so awesome when ya "discover" what I growed up on😁🙏🏻❣️. And yer education that ya give us on yer perspective based on yer profession is also very informative and let's just face it, your joy and appreciation is inspiring 😁🙏🏻❣️.
Lol down here in Tennessee I'd say those sparks are flying from the sawin and yee hawing lol just thought that might throw on a tad of country flavor sayin so. Charlie sure knew how to play and get the crowd goin. Thanks Joe E
This beat came way before charlie daniels classic beat... The Boogie woogie bugle boy From company b andrews sisters 1940s i think. It was a country sample
I have a suggestion since your a video guy. Im not a patrion member or nuthin but i subscribe. Man i aint got no money! But i got some personality! But anywho, check out the video "My name is Bocephus" by Hank Williams Jr. I think you will like it. Or "March march" by the Chicks. Formerly known as the Dixie chicks. Powerful video!!!!
