I’ve used the Samsung Q2U mic and my iPhone for recording voice overs and even used both when recording reaction videos. Great video and great mic! 👍

For a solo podcaster, does it make sense to invest in the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Cloudlifter? I use the Samson Q2U, and I want to make sure I get the best possible audio quality. Or will the Samson Q2U work fine if I just plug it into my laptop via the USB cable and hit record?

Question: what if your iPhone input records up to 30 mins of video? My iPhone 11 only records up to 30 mins. Not sure if that is just the time limit or if I can fix that to make it unlimited? My podcast’s episodes definitely run much longer than 30 mins.
Also I use a Zoom LiveTrak L-8 to plug my XLR mic into to record. How can I still use this while connecting to a camera device to ensure quality sound is coming through video as well?

You don’t understand how this helped I have a condensed mic and I would have to hook up my Scarlett interface and sync audio with video (which I’m not that good at) now I kno I don’t have to do that. For future reference do u have a video on how to sync audio n video in Final Cut Pro?
At 01:18 you show it as a SAMSUNG mic not a SAMSON Q2U mic. Would you compare this mic to the slightly higher priced Samson Q9U. This was helpful. Are there other portable dual mic mixers similar to the Comica?

So I bought the Samson Q2Us and the Comics Link Flex AD3. Only issue I am having is the sound quality when I use a 3.5mm to iPhone 15 adaptor is way worse than if I plug the AD3 straight into a laptop and use GarageBand. Any advise?
What a bunch of REALLY WASTEFUL ADVICE!!!
Either Omar is trying to sell you these things stop he gets affiliate marketing or he actually doesn't know gear.
Buying all those things is so much bad advice when you can buy one device that does it all. You can buy a dynamic recording mic that goes straight into USB and can assist levels of inputs for about $50.
This is not even new at all. Any home host recording musician or dj, probably had one for ages... I do!
This advice will cost you tons more and and tons more cables....

So I want to start a podcast and use my iphone 14 pro max as well as my go pro 8. Since the CoMica Linkflex has only 1 cable going into either a phone or camera, how would I be able to set up BOTH phone and go pro to the microphones?
Can somebody tell me why I can only speak or listen while I do a podcast with a guest? I habe to flip a switch on Riverside, my podcast app? I want to be able to have a normal conversation and not only be able to talk or listen.

I would love to have that remote to start a video and stop a video... And then record one video after the other. How do you use the back camera of your iPhone if you have a guest over Zoom? Especially because the mic will be connected to the phone correct? Don't Zoom calls use the front facing camera?

Newbie here...I bought the 2 mic setup. We plugged our headphones in and here comes the newbie question...are we supposed to be able to hear both ourselves and the other person? Just ourselves? or just the other person in the headphones.
Why do u need power phantom?? I heard from other videos, power phantom is not needed and not useful for dynamic mics
