Omar!!! Please read this. My son who is on the Spectrum said your voice makes him feel relaxed. Lol. He said he can watch your videos over and over. So, thank you for what you do.
I’ve been manifesting a podcast for almost two years! Ive watched so many videos about equipment and gotten so discourage and then here comes this video! I just want to say THANK YOU!!
You should go for it. Don't fall for decision paralysis. Start now and fix errors on your way. You got this, come on ... don't spend another year trying to plan
This really helped me. I was torn between upgrading to a Samsung 23 plus or buying a bunch of equipment for podcasting. Thanks. This saved me some bucks.
Just purchased everything you recommended, I hope you get the affiliate bonus 😊 I’m glad you made it so easy because I was down the rabbit hole of “too much information” so many options on equipment to start a podcast.
Think Media and Omar. I wanted to commend you in what you do and the love you and passion you all portrait when doing it. It was because of this video I was able to start my video podcast and also knew about buzzsprout. And now I am part of the VRA 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉thank you!!!!!
Thanks for all of your help! Heather Torres directed me to this video in order to answer my question about gear, specifically: Canon M50 (purchased through ThinkMedia link!) and two podcast mics.Hubby and I want to both be in the video/podcast and I will use my M50 to record. My problem is how to connect the two mics to the camera so that I don't have to sync the video and audio in editing. Are you saying that the XLR Cable and Comica Link Flex for two channels will do what I need to do? Thanks again! I'm looking forward to hearing back from you - I'm sure others are wondering the same!
I’m having a problem, when I connect the Linkflex AD3 to my phone, I get no audio at all, how have you done it to have live audio on your video, so that you don’t have to sync later in editing.
@@aleksanderdervishi8067 sorry to say but I don’t have a solution. I have taken the route of recording in QuickTime with one USB mic connected to my laptop that my hubby and I share. It’s not optimal but until my podcast starts earning income it will have to do!😊
Omar & the Think Media team always killing it with the tips. I love you guys man! 🔥🔥🙌🏽 Just dropped my first podcast on my channel. Picked up a second camera on Monday so now I’ll be able to have two different angles
Think Media, thank you for keeping up the good work with the tips, tricks and encouraging words. I love it when you always break it down that you need to keep it Simple in the beginning. Everytime I’m demotivated, your videos help me to pick myself up💪🏻
I don't know who needs to see this but am here to just tell you that this week the Lord shall come through for you and bring a smile on your face, you too shall know true happiness.😊🥰🙏❤️
For a solo podcaster, does it make sense to invest in the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Cloudlifter? I use the Samson Q2U, and I want to make sure I get the best possible audio quality. Or will the Samson Q2U work fine if I just plug it into my laptop via the USB cable and hit record?
Thank you so much!!! This helps me so much as I start my leadership podcast. I have a Rebel cannon camera but I don’t really know how to use it. I will most likely use my phone. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
At 01:18 you show it as a SAMSUNG mic not a SAMSON Q2U mic. Would you compare this mic to the slightly higher priced Samson Q9U. This was helpful. Are there other portable dual mic mixers similar to the Comica?
Hi Omar, I purchased everything you mentioned in the video. But, can you please do a detailed video on how to set it up if you haven’t already? I tried following the instruction manual but, I can’t seem to power on the mic and get it to work. Thank you
Do you have a video that explains what the person on the other end of your virtual podcast would need? Example: If you are using StreamYard, what kind of set up do they need to have to be successful? Thank you!
Ain’t no body in Limerick doing it like this ⬆️⬆️🔥🔥

did you have video that suggest computer the think to edit more quickly what minimum you need aa a computer i do video of pattern so needat least 20 min minimum
I purchase the exact same components looking at this video. The mic, the interface and dongle. I have an iPhone. But my iPhone 13 when I playback the video it’s having a white noise. It’s driving me insane. Please help.
How do you connect the multiple cameras? Or rather, what are you connecting them to? Directly to the computer? or is there another device they are connected to?
How do you use the back camera of your iPhone if you have a guest over Zoom? Especially because the mic will be connected to the phone correct? Don't Zoom calls use the front facing camera?
You don’t understand how this helped I have a condensed mic and I would have to hook up my Scarlett interface and sync audio with video (which I’m not that good at) now I kno I don’t have to do that. For future reference do u have a video on how to sync audio n video in Final Cut Pro?
So I did all this, and I’m asking, when I plug in everything, does the mic light need to be on cause it’s not on when I turn on the adapter and everything
Question: what if your iPhone input records up to 30 mins of video? My iPhone 11 only records up to 30 mins. Not sure if that is just the time limit or if I can fix that to make it unlimited? My podcast’s episodes definitely run much longer than 30 mins. Also I use a Zoom LiveTrak L-8 to plug my XLR mic into to record. How can I still use this while connecting to a camera device to ensure quality sound is coming through video as well?
So I want to start a podcast and use my iphone 14 pro max as well as my go pro 8. Since the CoMica Linkflex has only 1 cable going into either a phone or camera, how would I be able to set up BOTH phone and go pro to the microphones?
What’s the difference in audio if I use the XLR connected to the Comica LinkFlex compared to connecting to my iPhone through USB using a Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter ??? Please help
Thanks for creating this video! The product links don't seem to be working now. When I looked up Samsung Q2U microphone, it keeps leading me to a product called Samson Q2U ...is this the one you meant?
Im very confused when it comes to setting up for podcasting. I am looking at the Rode podast mic, NT1 and the At2040/At2020. I want a Mic that can connect straight to my Sony Zv1 camera for podcasting. I understand you need a USB mic for this. If I need too, how do I use a Audio Interface/phantom power when the only equipment I have is the Sony Zv1 and a Mic. Do audio interfaces only connect to the computer or can I connect it straight to the camera? Cheers.
Hey ! Do we need to set up something on our iPhone for it to work because I got the adapter and everything but headphones show up on my end and I can’t hear the sound. Thank you !
Newbie here...I bought the 2 mic setup. We plugged our headphones in and here comes the newbie question...are we supposed to be able to hear both ourselves and the other person? Just ourselves? or just the other person in the headphones.
I am looking to start my podcast and I had one question that maybe you or someone in the comments could answer for me. Where does the audio store if you are just using a mike and an Iphone? Thanks in advance!

@@ThinkMediaTVOmar how’s the mic 🎤 gain of the Comica ad3?
That's a good compliment! 😮
Omar does have a good voice.

How about....stop manifesting and start actually talking into a mic and record. Lmao😅😅
Please start.

I’ve used the Samsung Q2U mic and my iPhone for recording voice overs and even used both when recording reaction videos. Great video and great mic! 👍
are you able to plug the mic straight into the iphone and record the video from the i phone and it will still capture the audio through the mic?
Is it samsung or samson?
Do you have to edit any audio because I did a test run and the audio just sound like a normal video

Thanks for breaking It down like this! already had the mic, just wasnt sure how to record with phone and the mic
Thanks for sharing such valuable content here. Greetings from Michigan.
Thank you for this! What's the difference between recording the audio via USB and via XLR?
1:03 mic recommendation: Samson Q2U XLR/USB $60-70 2:58 Comica LinkFlex XLR mic smartphone adapter $50 AD2 or $80 AD3 2-channel. 2xQ2U & AD3 ~$220 & tax.

What’s the best recommendation for a microphone splitter to connect to the AD3 for a third mic ?

Hey Omar, bought everything in the video, but I was wondering if you could make a video on setting everything up to get an episode rolling out.
Thank you so much for this video I so want to start one but on a budget so thanks again

Yes! Wondering the same
You mention recoding in mono allows you to adjust the levels on each person - you would actually need to record in stereo to do this, not mono
The video quality is beautiful

Can you plug 2 different mics into it? Like a usb and an xlr mic:(
Do I need any special software on my phone when recording?
Thanks for video very helpful
So which recorder do we use with this?
If you're mic have the USB cable can you still use it

What mic would you recommend for iPad if I’m playing through a PA system 10-12ft from the mic?
What if I wanna record it for 3 people ? Any recommendations? I’m planning to start a podcast soon . Thank you in advance 😊
Now when you say this works with a camera, would this apply to a DJI pocket 2?
I have a question how do you add lil video clips from like movies ets to your podcast for comic effect??? All answers welcome
is that samsung mic better than a lav mic like the (Rode Lav) in cancelling ambient and unwanted background noise?
Hey, can you show one with for channels
So how do I link this to my iPhone so the phone picks up the audio for instagram etc ?
