      @@ThinkMediaTV Serious question. What's the difference between a podcast and a UA-cam channel talking about your topic? Pl ase don't come for me. I really don't understand

      @@ThinkMediaTVI watch a lot of think media. I'm working on my UA-cam channel about my life. When this episode talked about podcasts and UA-cam it confused me. Am I creating a UA-cam channel or a podcast? Are they both one in the same? When I record my video should I now consider using the audio to create a second "show" on podcast channels? This one video opened more questions. Thanks again

    What microphone would you recommend for a teaching meeting where there is a host and 4 or 5 guests around, who sometimes ask something but can't be heard because of the directional microphone pointing at the host?

      @Miguel_Pratz 22 години тому

      Whatever you do, do not get a condenser mic if that's your use case. Dynamic only. Condenser would pick up everyone talking on each other's mic. You need to find one that the speaker has to be right infront of their own. Something like the Sennheiser 416 or Shure SM58

    Good morning, besides gear what are the costs involved for having a podcast? Thanks for the video.

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV  14 годин тому

      Your distribution site will have a subscription fee which varies depending on a few factors. Other considerations would be music licensing and editing/audio software, but those sometimes can be free. So really your distribution site will be the main cost besides equipment!

    Is the camera mentioned in the description (ZV-E10) the same as you used to film this video? If not, what did you use?

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV  14 годин тому

      I shot this video with the FX3, which is overkill. You could go for the FX30 if you wanted something more professional, but the ZV-E10 is amazing for the money.

  • @baahirjinadu4392

    Does the ZV-E10 overheat? I’ve been looking at this but don’t know if I can shoot for a long period in 4K

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV  14 годин тому

      We’ve tested both the mark 1 and mark 2 in 4K 24fps and they last for 2+ hours easily, and when you use a dummy battery can last even longer. Should be long enough for a podcast! If you’re worried, you can always look at FX30 or A6700.

    Is an audio-only podcast something people still enjoy or does it have to be audio AND video?

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV  18 годин тому +1

      Audio only podcasts are still super relevant! 98 million people listen to podcasts each week and the majority of those are the audio only format. We just encourage people to consider turn their podcast into a video podcast as well for more reach!

    I’m not going to edit mine because I want it to be real and raw, not all clean and polished

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV  17 годин тому +1

      Usually even for episodes that need minimal editing, you will still want to bring it into editing software, trim off any dead space at the beginning or end, maybe edit your audio levels a little bit, and export the file for web formatting. You usually can't just upload your audio/video file directly to a podcast publishing platform without a little bit of backend work. Even a real/raw feel requires some basic editing. Hopefully that makes sense!

    • @SagmiTez
      @SagmiTez 16 годин тому

      @ oh true true, well I’ll try to make it appear as raw as possible haha
