I have the blue one for €1,700 bought from Enlo-1 (Spain). Still a competitive price compared to a Prophet-6 or OB-6. But the crucial point is the sound; it is gorgeous and reminds much more of the Memorymoog than any other synth, incl. the Trigon-6.
Uhh...they send it without another package around the product-packaging? I hope that my blue/white "e7" will arrive today with an extra packaging from Spain.
@@CaldorFritz I have no reference to compare it with. So I'm completely in the dark as to what is competitive for this kind of synth. I'm used to Roland, Novation and Behringer stuff and those all vary extremely in price.
@@dictabeat Yeah.. I've been weighing my options the last few weeks. With VCO's and this voice count + multi-timbral-ity, it'll roughly cost twice the amount. To the best of my knowledge of course :)
Apart from what they told you, most of modern analog synths do not sound the same than vintage, and a lot of people search for that sound. Vintage synths with this sound quality costs over usd2500 (usd3000+ in most of the cases), and this one is one of the few that really sound like the old stuff in my opinion. Actually that’s the reason why I am checking this video, checking it properly, checking comments to see if there is something I should be aware of, etc. :)
More information on the GS e7 is coming in future vids! ...and can be found on their website; www.shop.gsmusic.com.ar/synthesizers/polyphonic/
That demo sounds great! The e7 has been on my wish list for a few months now and I think you just bumped it to the top of that list!
Its a great synth 👍

Great synth!
Excellent
Rico how much was the shipping and import duties? You do live in the Us right?
I live in the EU. Here, Value Added Tax and import duties increased the price by ~25 %.
Is that the grey model? Looks lovely! :)
Yes, I think grey version is the best looking one 👍
@@ricobenavides Me too! :)
@@ricobenavides Look forward to hearing some demos!
@@ljs8888 I’ll upload some demos soon :)
1500USD is competitive?
Anything else with these specs, brand new is $2,000+. Except for maybe a Ub-Xa which hasn't come out yet lol.

@@CaldorFritz Looks I got homework to do. :) Thanks for trying to help me find context.
