Have you looked at the newer DDS OA Kneetrac design? It’s supposed to be even better.
I hadn't heard of it before. I just looked it up. The technology and concept behind it is very similar to the OA Pro, but it does look like maybe they used different materials for the frame. I can't comment on if it's better, worse, or the same as far as function as I've never seen it.
@@More4Life It appears to use a system of gears on the knee hinge and the brace uses a leverage approach to remove pressure from the knee. It also has 4 straps instead of 2 to hold it in place better. It’s more expensive but seems like a great design. I’m thinking of trying it.
@@SuperheroArmorychannel i see the difference now. Both use a leverage arm, but the OA Pro has one bent arm and one straight. The Kneetrac has 2 bent arms, so probably more leverage. I also see that the OA Pro hinge is described as the "Kneetrac lite" hinge.
What is brand name, price? Is it available in shops like “Amazon” or only in hospitals? Can it be fitted without Ortho’s help?

Will this help with a knee that is already bone on bone?
It doesn't "fix" the bone one bone or make the cartilage re-grow. It does take pressure off the joint which may allow you to walk longer. As with all things, results vary from person to person though.
I got surgery because of an accident. I hope to get mine in 3 days...

Can it fit with trousers , pants?
Because of the way it works, you definitely would want to wear it UNDERNEATH your pants, not over top. It's easier to put the brace on then the trousers rather than trying to pull the pant leg up and then pull it back down over the brace. That said, it would work with loose fitting pants, but not tight pants.
