@@edo324 It actually make the most sense for 'Toxic positive' gig he had, I have a friend that overly similar to him but more toxic than positive to me, that how I personally felt but he actually a good friend, he just not good with sensitive things. He's kinda guy who could careless about what other people think and being very pushy, not one bit that he care enough for the very significant feeling that I had, he only see the best opinion for himself and myself and he will push that in whether you like it or not, sometime it feel too blunt and uncaring, the fact that his opinion actually works is there but when you are down so much you also become extra sensitive to very little things you can hear and he will not care enough how you feel when you hearing them, they giving you the feel that he just doesn't care enough for you and it just hurts when you need more gentle comfort rather than a hard hitting fact. The best example is the geek boy that hold up in his room while Sunny and Kel going in there it chase him out of his comfortable zone so he can spend his time with his dad, did Kel show the sign to notice how the boy think or does he care how he will think ? No, he just say what best for him and drag him out, the game only show a bare minimal frustration of the boy, even tho the outcome is good and wholesome, the more gentle approach can be made, imagine if he trying to do the same with someone still crying their face out for days and their weak mind wouldn't be able to handle how pushy Kel is, he instantly become the worst choice to calm down such person for sure. That's Kel's problem, he could careless about the "truth", seeing them as a past and instantly look into new light, it's how toxic positive work, you look into more positive matter to overshadow the negative aspect as its coping mechanism, it doesn't mean he's unwavering or not shaking up inside but he decide that keeping his smile and cheering up his friends is more important than none.

I love this perspective on things. That the situation and Sunny's mental state weren't just magically fixed when he admitted the truth, but instead that the end of Omori acts as just the first step in a long, long journey towards self forgiveness and love. I hope this version of Sunny can find happiness, despite everything.

So my theory on the Omori scene is that, even if sunny accepted the truth he won't be able to face the consequences and omori sees that, it no longer has a will to hide the truth because there is no truth hidden anymore so now omori becomes a from of escapism whitout the need to force sunny into it, that's why it's so nice

Aubrey literally did the same thing to Basil as Sunny did to Mari, pushing Basil away in a fit of rage without realizing where she was, and where he was going. The only difference is that she got lucky, and Basil lived. If it wasn't for Hero, Basil AND Sunny might have drowned there, and she would have had both of their blood on her hands. How would she have acted if he never arrived, and they both drowned to death? How would she have reacted if she did it and no one else was around? If she knew they were both already dead? Would she had spoken up, or hid away in tears? Aubrey, she may act tough, but deep down? She's a coward, and she knows it. Hero, though, I can understand him never forgiving them. If he did, it would only be from a place of loving Mari, knowing that hating her brother would have been the last thing she would have wanted; however, that might take a very long time to digest, and that's actually completely understandable.

SPOILERS Man, Seeing Hero and Aubrey act towards Sunny is just painful but you can't really blame them on acting that way. Hoping more on this series and I wish you good luck!

So based in this and the “trailer” I guess you can call it that way, I think that it’s basically how even after sunny confessing, he is still having trouble not feeling guilty or beating himself up for it, so he enters in a coma and meets Omori since bad old habits just don’t die that fast, he offers him conform and since he isn’t mentally ready he accepts to take a break, so… with the stabbing yourself over and over, could mean that either Sunny just keeps on relying on Omori for being so distressed and constantly having comas that are each time more longer than the last one just to have a bit of a break, or that maybe after staying for so long when sunny actually wants to wake up he doesn’t remember how to, so Omori ( or he, idk ) tries stabbing him self many many times which doesn’t work to the point of despair…. That’s all I have
In your au, did Sunny's mother help cover up a murder? Because if yes, Sunny's mother must be in trouble with the law. It is very difficult to hide a secret when so many broken people are involved in it. (I thought about it a lot). Great job, anyway. I love it.
I don't think the problem with Sunny's mother is that there questioning Mary's death but rather Sunny's mental and physical condition. Let's say sunny is 15 right now we'll he's spent the last 3 years locked away inside probably only leaving for school and clearly not eating well as he should and as we saw in the game spent the last 3 days alone in his home that rapidly had power outages. Although the game doesn't out right say it there's a clear case for child neglect looking at it from the doctors and maybe social workers perspectives. Why he's at basil's house the guy who stabbed his eye out is not exactly clear but ehh I'm putting that as a pretty decent plot hole that can hopefully be covered up in future episodes. P.s. this is just a theory but there's some evidence sunny may hurt himself in the game or have other psychotic tendencies. So those may come into play also.

Unlike before, Omori's powers aren't being used to hide the truth or act as an ultimate escape for Sunny, that purpose has been done already. Instead, it will act somewhat more like therapy sessions, with an equal mind now cleared from its original corruption.
THIS IS SO GOOD- Your art style i pretty and even though these events aren't my personal headcanons for the post-ending, it's still a good take! I'm glad Sunny didn't move away. I don't think it'd be good for him, honestly. He needs his support-people around him when he's healing.

She wasn't abusing him per say. She just didn't understand that the violin was something which pressurized him. It was a sad situation and no one's fault

Unlike before, Omori's powers aren't being used to hide the truth or act as an ultimate escape for Sunny, that purpose has been done already. Instead, it will act somewhat more like therapy sessions, with an equal mind now cleared from its original corruption.
