Tbh, I can definitely see this happening, and can totally imagine sunny taking it seriously like that first bit then just joking around with her on purpose for the small amount of time before being serious about it

I’m gonna be honest, 13:50 to 16:50 was 3 minutes of pure tears.

I LOVE how you leaned into Omori as "evil without intent." He simply provides solutions. Despite his crulest words and works, he just does what he thinks will keep Sunny happy. They are often horrible solutions, evil solutions, but (as we viewers know) as terrible solutions they are- they do technically work. He does relent in the end of the original tale, ending his assault and giving Sunny his exit- but here again we face the potential reality: what if Sunny was wrong? Even after revealing the truth, he finds himself coming back to Omori for a solution, because he just can't deal with it himself.
