This comic deals with most of the cast's realistic reactions after hearing the truth come out. While most people could eventually forgive Sunny for accidentally pushing his sister down a flight of stairs. Staging her suicide & making everyone have to deal with the consequences of that decision for four years...
Well, both Sunny & Basil would be lucky if they could ever establish contact with their friends again...

they would probably do, honestly, regardless of the circumstance! but it wouldn't be in an instant though (spoilers ahead)
i do think AUBREY would be the first to forgive SUNNY because she was very close to him, aside from just MARI (and you can say, yes, they may have to used to be close, but get this:) it was also implied by the game that she still cares about him by a lot, even though she's been hiding that fact except for that time they were at the swings on ONE DAY LEFT as well as right before they went to the treehouse and go to sleep in BASIL's HOUSE. and after all, she almost did the same thing to BASIL, so she would definitely come into terms and would soon enough forgive SUNNY and BASIL
it depends on who would be the second and third to forgive SUNNY actually, it's a mixed bag and would take a much longer time than AUBREY would do. KEL would be in absolute denial of THE TRUTH despite being very close to SUNNY and BASIL during their childhood, and would find himself in grief for such a thing. he literally wanted to cope up with the "suicide" by making new friends and staying positive despite everything happening, so i imagine him getting more emotionally mature. however i still do think KEL would forgive them both considering the fact that he continuously knocked on SUNNY's door and begged him to go outside, and when SUNNY did, SUNNY made (and later broke in THE TRUTH) the friendgroup again in just a matter of three days (although it would most likely be remade, again, if both the three did come into terms with THE TRUTH)
and HERO, as i said on my comment earlier, he could be unpredictable given the fact he too did not want to worry anyone, but more specifically KEL and his parents ever since he snapped in front of KEL one time, though he would understand SUNNY on a certain degree since he locked himself in his room too for just a year and instead take the blame on BASIL, but it would still nonetheless devastate him to the fact that he could be depressed once again, after all they both hid it for four years straight to a person who loved her girlfriend so deeply that he thought "if he was there he could have prevented everything." he would definitely take a while to forgive SUNNY and BASIL, but as said earlier KEL could be the last one to forgive them so it depends
holy hell this took a LOT more time than I expected, but it was worth the lore drop for me

I believe you're correct that Aubrey, after taking some time to reflect on the truth coming out would be the first person to forgive both boys for what happened considering she would have accidentally killed both Basil & Sunny if Hero had not intervened in the lake incident. Kel, the bright ray of sunshine he is, would be in denial over the whole affair. He'd be utterly heartbroken over his attempts to bring the gang back together falling apart.
Hero is the wild card, truthfully, I can't see him forgiving the two boys for staging Mari's suicide, the psychological toll her 'suicide' would have taken on him during the four-year time gap between the incident & the truth coming out can't be rolled back & Hero has clearly not moved on emotionally from Mari's death from few scenes we catch of him in the game. If Hero were to ever reconnect with either Sunny or Basil, I doubt he would hang out with them, there would be too much of an emotional chasm for him to cross especially as he's studying to become a doctor which would be more important.
I should have clarified earlier that while I could forgive Sunny & Basil for their actions. That's only because of the time we spent with them in-game & getting a solid insight into their mental states & emotions. Both boys are clearly traumatised by the event & the guilt of their actions would have inevitably driven both to suicide as their mental health has deteriorated to the point of having episodes of disassociation & psychosis.
My main point was that realistically, the situation would be far too damaging in real life for most friend groups who had been affected by the cover-up to ever end in any sort of forgiveness but things could always turn out differently considering the ambiguous nature of the ending.

There was a giant thing of omori art from when it was being developed with 3 pictures with hero kel and Aubrey all looking shocked and disgusted. It’s theorized that’s how they reacted.
i could definitely see something like this happen, based on my observations from the exhibit reactions and the comic
AUBREY would definitely be in anger and denial, but would later cry as soon as the realization sets in, though it can still be in a mix of anger because she doesn't want to look vulnerable
KEL didn't want to believe it was all true and would feel sad about it
HERO is a little unpredictable though, after all he had snapped in front of KEL before. he could let all his emotions he's been hiding out or, as perceived by the comic, decide to hold it in
overall I give this comic, the dub, and the storyline execution/lore accuracy a 10/10
just wanted to add this too but UA-cam would be harsh on me by removing the heart reaction because I just want to edit this
I like the sequence where SUNNY and BASIL hugged and said sorry to each other, it feels in character for them to do that
