I have an 03 cls 6 speed, its an awesome car and i love it. Only thing is that i wish the previous owner would of cared for it a bit better. Ive considered selling it but its such an enjoyable car to drive around in, ive put about 25-30k miles on mine in the past 3.5 years and i might keep it for a while. If you remove the plenum cover and clean out the EGR pathways the engine will run considerably better, easy too just use some brake cleaner. you should hop on acurazine as well.

I am a proud and satisfied owner of a 2001 Acura 3.2 C L...I have had it for about eight and a half months.
My previous car was a 2005 Subaru X T wagon so this was a real change!!! I loved that car and I love this
car. It is fast, luxurious, has a kick butt stereo and is sporty in an understated way. It is a joy to drive and the
cabin is real comfortable. I dig the subtle exhaust note and the engine has a refined, performance note as well.
These cars are very rare, so it has that appeal. If you can find one, you should take it for test spin........

Had to put a trans in it so went on the forums and they said you could put a auto trans out of a 2006 accord and thats what i did and never had a problem. that's only if you flush it with a machine. Honda automatics love fresh fluid and will act funny the older it gets. I change the fluid in my 2000 TL which has the same trans as this every year and my Transmission always shifts smoother and more crisp after every drain and fill.

I got my 2001 CL types S for $20 USD. It had a little north of 170k miles on it. It only needs a driver side window. The rims need to be refinished at some point, and at some point I will put a new exhaust system, rims, coil overs, spoiler, new racing seats (I might race it at some point, idk), custom window tint, change from AT to MT with a FWD conversion to a RWD, weight reduction, and more. How much more? No idea.

Lost me at auto. Even for commuting. Ive put 100k of commuting in awful NY traffic and roads. The whole point was if you drive that much you want a manual so your not bored to death. I guess I am weird and currently drive a manual 2019 Hyundai despite the DCT being quicker and a little more efficient. I don't even like driving that much anymore but when I must drive, knowing I get to drive my manual, it makes it more desirable . Im not a kid and have bad back and all that. But I also like Hiking up steep mountains for fun so unless you have a hi performance (stiff) clutch I think you have to be terribly lazy or weak to think a light clutch is really such a hassle. You get a tiny bit of exercise driving at least, instead of zoning out in an automatic with no ability to have fun reving out and banging gears for fun. makes travelling more fun. I am weird though so who knows.

@crutksdub Yeah, we needed a bigger car and she couldn't drive a manual. The worst part is that Carmax gave me $4,000 for it back in 2011 w/ 110k miles on it. Car was clean too. I hate Carmax, but we needed the cash for downpayment.
