Varys' end was the most tragic and unjust event in GOT. He deserved more, but D&D just dumped him like an old washrag, like Danerys. I will never forgive them for what they did to GOT in Seasons 7&8. Totally butchered the story.
I’ve been rewatching GoT. Honestly, D&D started messing things up as early as season 2. Season 5 was a true turning point in quality. But sure, seasons 7 & 8 are just outright terrible.
That Lord of Light. Really Taxes a hefty Price for the apparent Victory of Good over Evil. Like poor Varys himself. For playing whatever Role as inevitably served to achieve the Ends, which Varys himself, wouldn't live to enjoy, speaking to the Show-specific "Burnt to a Crisp" Conclusion of his Part... Really does Bite, considering it cost him his Balls. Maybe I'm mistaken?
I never could understand why Varys never attained power for himself. I mean he could've had his own fiefdom and servents with the knowledge he has on others.
So, if Varys knew he was Targaryen and shaved his head to protect himself, did he know he was in line for the throne (assuming that's what you're suggesting) and if so, why would he help Dany rather than usurp her? Hmm... it's got potential but doesn't make any difference now. Lol!
My feeling Varys is a Blackfyre. In the he is conspiring with Magister Ilyrrio to place Jon Connington ward on the throne. In Quality prophecy she warns Dany of the Murmer dragon. Varus at one point is a murmur and part of troop. I believe that Aegon that Magister Ilyrrio and Varys are planning to sit on the Iron throne is a Blackfyre and a murmur dragon.
If Vary's was a truly a Targaryen it just prove my point, that only the female of the Targaryen line can withstand dragon fire. Remember Daenerys new husban killed Daenerys with melted gold over the head. Male Targaryens don't have the gift to withstand dragon fire.
Make sense as to why he was always shaved head. So nobody could see his white hair.
He could be a someone related from Saera, she became a whole. She took off to Lys and started a brothel right? He could be of her blood
