Actually go to youtube settings click general then there will be dark theme turn it on and let the magic happen ;)

I had that already 😊 .. just update ur youtube app in latest version then after u install it .. delete the data and cache of it.
Go to settings then find *general, u will see the dark mode. If its doesnt work just wait for a minute or an hour .. thank you for advance😊
Now we can enable the dark mode just by updating the app from play store and in settings their is the option for enabling the dark mode

I'm on a Google pixel, of all phones, with Android pie
First update the app and clear the data and cache of the app then restart the app one or two time . I hope it will work

Video is very informative but the method is difficult and confusing for someone like me who is not very much into technical things. I have disabled my regular UA-cam app...instead I am using UA-cam Vanced...for dark theme and ad free Experience...

Sir everything is ok...but no restore option is coming in my phone.....i am using realme 1....and my pc runs on Windows 7...what to do now..... command prompt shows ... unlock ur device and confirm restore operation....but nothing in my phone
Make sure you follow the right instructions. Download platform tools properly. It can be an issue.

ok i made it done...i tried it with powershell as well as what the youtube app gives...but on my s9 hpone it is not black...its just a lame grey color...any ideas how to turn it full black?
It's not fully black. It's like a grayish tone.

If you can't find the option to clean cache, you can try clearing it by going into recovery mode. You can also delete temporary files using third party apps.

You can now. Just download latest version of youtube app. Then clear the cache of youtube to activate the darkmode. Then go to settings of youtube in general to switch on dark mode.

If that's too tough for you, then you have to wait for the official dark mode. It isn't hard at all, just make sure to follow the instructions. And remember - don't download any 3rd party apps, you can't be sure if it's safe
