Dave Grohl my man.
Fun fact, the vocalist (👆) was the drummer for Nirvana. After Kurt Cobain died, Dave wrote and recorded the Foo Fighters debut album almost entirely by himself. I think there was one guest guitar spot. And then circulated tapes anonymously. He’s one of those rare straight up Renaissance musicians. And by all accounts a genuine humble dude.
Another fun fact. He wasn't the drummer for all Nirvana's albums!

I know you probably picked this up, but for posterity the most the common rock band structures:
3 piece: Guitar player usually also sings, drummer, bass. Sometimes a different member is the main singer, but it's rare.
4 piece: Rhythm or lead guitar, bass, drummer, then either a singer that also plays either rhythm or lead, or is empty-handed (no instrument)
5 piece: Usually both rhythm and lead guitar, bass, drums, and an empty-handed singer, but can also throw a keyboard in there and then one of the guitar players usually is the singer
In most bands, the other members also do harmony/backup vocals. Check out the band Sevendust for a band where the drummer does some main vocals, plus an empty handed singer. Great band, btw. Risen is the song you want if you do check them out.
Their best songs. Everlong, walk, best of you, run, learn to fly, and my personal favorite, all my life. Foo fighte r s are an iconic band. But, theirs a huge world of rock bands you've missed out on.

Check out Everlong by Foo Fighters...also the lead singer (Dave Grohl) plays the drums in Queens of the Stone Age...the song is Noone Knows...he destroys the drums in that song...and of course the drummer of a little band called Nirvana

I didn't know they had 3 Albums. I knew some songs but I didn't put it together as AudioSlave. I love that song ,LIKE A STONE, watching the video I seen Morello, I started thinking weeks later,the drummer looked familiar, I looked it up then I looked up the bassist , it was the whole band.Youll like alot of the music, Chris doesn't rap, but he writes lyrics .His songs go straight to the top

I definitely would love to see a Tool reaction. I think 'Vicarious' would be a good one to react to. Foo Fighters are just a solid rock band. Not flashy, not too technical...just solid. Tool on the other hand...very technical, very detailed. Mind blowing band.

That is the typical mold of most rock bands(vocals, bass, drums, guitar) but not all of em. There are some great 3 piece rock bands out there that are must reacts ie. Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, Rush, ZZ Top, Primus, Nirvana

AudioSlave, the guys formed the band,cause they told the singer they brought in, he couldn't be fucked off on drugs. Chris Cornelle is pretty famous, He's been in 3 or 4 bands and sings alone. All went to the top of the charts. AudioSlave ...Cochise ....is hype, it turns up right away!

3-4 is pretty standard for rock bands. Singer can double up, usually on guitar or bass. Sometimes you'll have an extra guitar, one on lead guitar and the other on rhythm.

its hard to sing, well to sing WELL, so if a band has a singer, generally they have that singer. some have guitarists, drummers who also sing tho. this singer Dave Grohl, is a guitarist AND a drummer, was the drummer for Nirvana, maybe the biggest band of the 90's. now he does it all. :)
Check out some Mastodon at any point they could have five people singing at once. Or Alice in chains they do great harmony

The general structure of most rock bands is 1 singer 2 guitarists 1 bassist 1 drummer. But there are many variations. Some metal and nu metal have two vocalists. Some bands have a drummer and extra percussionists (slipknot). I’m curious to see how you feel about twenty one pilots. Stressed out. They’re an interesting band. Hard to put into genre. I think "Right In Two" would be a better starting song for Tool. The Pot is a great song but so different vocally from most of their other stuff I think he would need to warm up to it before he dives in.
