WOW. For years I used Adobe Illustrator - didn’t even think about changing anything about art boards except their size. So, now that I have been using Affinity Designer for over 5 years I never thought about changing anything until today! I had no idea they could be different shapes and were so easily changed to match your project. Brilliant! I really appreciate your videos and have learned so much from you! Thank you for another excellent tutorial!
Excelente !!!! Muy bien!!! No sabía que se podían hacer estas mesas de trabajo en Designer... ni siquiera Illustrator ni CorelDraw lo hacen !!!! jajajaja, Sorprendente!!!
When i design a visit card and a flyer on different art boards with different sizes, do the artboards have final sizes of the products ? Or are artboard only for structuring my items ?
Did you find your answer? Did you create a starting document or did you simply open Designer? You have to actually create a blank document first then the Artboard button activates. At least that's how it worked for me.
Treating layers and artboards as basically the same thing is not very smart. Lets say I have two artboards adjacent to each other (basically a spread of two pages) and I have an object that spans across both artboards. If the object is located in Artboard 1 will be it hidden in artboard 2?!?!
with illustrator or Inkscape this is very simple, I've been using Affinifty for a few days and this thing that an object can't cross multiple artboards is driving me crazy. I would like to use the page as a page, and not as a group or as a form. For this purpose there are groups or masks, lol 🤦♂
