What a great tutorial! It took me an hour (or two) to make my own poster, I lost a few days in merged data results somehow, but after having copied again the basic fields it worked! I suppose I have to catch up with the global colours :) And I love your recaps!
Glad it was useful! Global Colours are such a time saver they are well worth the effort, check out this deep dive on colours for more information: ua-cam.com/video/PxyBqfL-dK8/v-deo.html
Thanks for yet another informative and practical tutorial 👍. Clear and understandable, helpimg is all appreciate the power of the Affinity suites. (And occasionally alerting us to the little glitches to take note of 😄! Looking forward to future episodes.
Wonderfull !!! I just had to listen multiple time about the import of a multipage PDF and selecting just one page to show! Never paid attention to this. THANK YOU, Elaine. May I ask if you are willing to share the source of your icons? TIA
There certainly should be but making it work is another matter! You can add a hyperlink to text or an image/icon. Shortcuts can be referenced from a hyperlink. This should mean it's possible and indeed you can add the Shortcut URL and it will export a clickable link but that's where the good news ended. Clicking the link didn't run the Shortcut. Here's some information if you want to check it out yourself: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/shortcuts/apd624386f42/ios If I can find a reliable workflow I'll certainly do a video on the process.
Thanks for this! Could you do a tutorial on how to do ringbound planner inserts that are smaller than an A4 page that will print in a spread on an A4 page? I’m trying to work out how to create mini planner inserts and I’m at such a loss.
I just wonder, would it be possible to have such an electronic poster, with data of your challenge (or any other notes) put manually into active pdf fields, but the design of it made in Publisher? Like a nice looking electronic form on your desktop? 🤔
Affinity Publisher doesn't support the creation of PDF forms directly but you could certainly create the design in Affinity Publisher and then use another app to add the interactivity. Adobe Acrobat is the primary app that does support the creation of forms but there are others too.
Your attention to detail, and your ability explain tasks, make your tutorials truly the most helpful videos out there. Thank you so much!
I agree!
You're very welcome! Thank you so much for your very kind words, be sure they're really appreciated ❤️

Is there any way to make data merge with reminder icon and link to apple shortcut? :) I would love to see such tutorial!
