    Have you done a updated on Stevens pain level? I'm watching closely because I have 2 autoimmune diseases (fibromyalgia & psoriatic arthritis) . My Rheumatologist said for me, meat & dairy were the #1 things to stay away from. But everyone knows with autoimmune issues, we will try anything to get off the medications and control our pain with diet. I love that you both do this and share! Praying this works for both of you and especially Steven. Please keep us up to date on his pain levels/inflammation. Blessings 💞

    • @StevenSteph
      @StevenSteph  11 місяців тому +3

      His pain is gone with AIP! Took 3 months (main problem was gluten and regular sugar-those make him flare big time). Carnivore is even more restricted for inflammatory foods so he’s doing awesome on this diet too! (He still has pain from being bone on bone in his neck and back but it’s NOTHING compared to the arthritis inflammation! That was crippling ❤️

    I chuckled when you said you weren't sure how the salt will stick to the frozen. Salt is dropped on the roads when they're frozen to defrost the ice. You don't have that problem in Ca. 😂

    Something I noticed is you don’t let the meat rest after cooking. If you do the meat tenderizes and the juice stays in it. 5 minutes is the customary amount of time for steaks. It’s 1 minute for each 100g of meat. 1 pound is 453 grams. So a roast would rest long than a steak more like 20minutes. Good luck with that diet you’re trying.👍

    You should try Chinese silky egg pudding. Bella at Steak and butter gal does it really good. When I make scrambled eggs I do it like she does as well. Cook it first as sunny side up then when the white hardens break the egg yolk and scrambled it with the white. Makes the Scrambled eggs yummy and creamy. I eat cut of a slice of butter with each peace of my meats.

    Looks yummy! If you forget to take out hamburger meat I put mine in a bowl of cold water for a hour or so and it’s unthawed! I get either the hamburger meat in the little rolls from my butcher or the flat container one wrapped in the air sealer bags! Change the water a few times cause it gets very cold! I also started the carnivore life and I’ve lost 10 pds in a little over a week but lost 5 before that just not eating sugar or low carb foods! My doc said I had diabetes but I don’t it’s been normal since this started!

    I heard that white salt is bleached and all the nutrients taken out then they add iodine back in. I have heard that Celtic Salt (gray salt) is the healthiest and still has trace minerals in it (most Himalayan salt is now processed and dyed) I have also heard that for people with blood pressure issues it doesn't spike your blood pressure - Just what I have heard.

    Last summer I finally took that type of plunge. I tossed a frozen steak on the grill. Neighbors n web was right. The steak was perfect but yet juicer. It's the only way I usually do my steak and hamburger now. However I wld Never Do that with pork or chicken for the inside may come out like a steak with the bonus of getting sick. Just my thoughts.
