ENJOY YOUR LIFE....OR ELSE! :)
Lamb doesn't stink when you cook it. We usually have it for Sunday roast, smells delicious
I’m on day 8 and loving it! I have 100 lbs to lose.
Lost, no Kidding 18 pounds, my doctor was shocked.
Wow!!! 18 is amazing!! You must be sensitive to some foods I bet and you were bloating and not processing properly! That’s what’s so great about this diet! We can find out what’s ailing us ❤️
Our lamb isn’t stinky when it’s cooking, it smells delicious. ❤
Hey guys....we raise lamb and I'm thinking yours may have been mutton or sheep, not lamb. So a game'y smell. Garlic salt is so good on lamb. I mix mint jelly and horseradish as a sauce which I know you cant eat. Glad your enjoying it!
Also..... my husband just reminded me it also depends on the breed of the sheep. Ours are a hair sheep that shed every year unlike the wool sheep. The hair sheep has a more mild flavor so they can go a year before butchering even.
What you could smell is the bones burning when you broiled it instead of air frying it. Personally I love lamb, it can be really greasy or fatty, but that's what makes it tender and tasty.
No! Lamb on the bone demands to be cooked over a lump charcoal fire at minimum. Wood fire even better. Lamb on the bone in an air fryer is just an absolute crime. When it comes to lamb, woodfire is the spice that should never ever go missing.
not criminal if it tastes good and doesn't heat up your house. It's been 102 every day in Florida recently. Anything to not turn on a stove or oven....
102F Don't blame you there. @@kikihammond5326
It was delicious! Good to know it can be even better 😆
I remember long time ago ,I bought lamp chop by mistake, thinking they where pork chops, the smell is what gave it away ,needless to say my Husband had to eat them , !
He did but I had to promise that I would never buy them again ! And I sure did !
😆😆
Nope never eat a baby animals. Lamb or veal 😢
Same. I would try it but my heart would be breaking with that one bite.
Add butter, rosemary and garlic. YUM!
I've never made lamb but I may give it a try. Thanks for sharing. Also, I love your watch band. I tried to search it on Amazon with no luck. If you remember where you got it and feel like sharing, I would greatly appreciate it!
That’s good that it’s not gamey I was thinking it would be because of the strong smell 😢
Poor little lamb
Fun to see you and your videos! I have to comment you two look a little tired… maybe the diet? All the best in your endeavors
Did you have American lamb ?
We always had sunday roast , potatoes, yorkshire pudding mint sauce with lamb back home .
But always bought New Zealand leg of lamb .
I have tried American lamb and did find that had a smell and tasted totally different to New Zealand lamb .
You guys are doing well on the carnivore diet.
Loving all the updates
I’m not sure but I think it’s from America 🤷♀️
I made a 17 oz rib eye for supper with butter on it. I could only eat half. Lol. But it certainly was delish!
Wow day 14 already, going so quick......so glad you are enjoying it & feeling better ❤❤❤
I love lamb It’s my favourite meat. I don’t get all the comments about it smelling bad when cooking. I’ve never thought it was stinky
Lamb is amazing! I also love duck.
I often wonder how Lamb would taste my Daddy was the kind of person who tried any and everything. He grew up poor never knew where his next meal would come from. I think that’s why he wanted to try everything because he didn’t get to eat much. So he always made my brother and I try EVERYTHING, I think that was his reasoning.. We would be at the table holding our breath lol.. He loved lamb! He also made us try Shark meat it was gross to us, he liked it lol...
That’s so cool! It would be better to try those things as adults! LOL our tastebuds are so much more adventurous now! I like so much more than I did as a kid!
Looks delicious 😋 On retirement and your food list is very limited!!! You know what has my attention right now is drama series taken from California living, Animal Kingdom and now Snowfall from Los Angeles. Good dramas!!! Joan ❤❤❤
Ya need to have a good combo salad (lettuce, tomato, garlic, onion, mayo and zesty Italian dressing.) with all that meat.
LOL but that wouldn’t be a carnivore experiment 😆
KOOL. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKE MEAT ON THE BONE, MORE FLAVOR AND TASTE. LOOKS SO GOOD. I USE TO BUY LAMB AND HAVE THE BUTCHER CUT IT FOR THE BARBIE.
Gross that is why I don’t eat meat! Glad you like it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hi Steven and Stephanie ❤️🙂. Have a nice day ❤️🙂.
You too! Thank you! ❤️
I can't eat lamb or goat or goat cheese because it's too goaty
I do my rack of lamb in the oven, I thaw them first. I cook them in oven at 450 for 15 minutes on one side, then for another 15 minutes on the other side. The smell is delicious.
You can also brine the chops by soaking them in a mixture of water, salt and vinegar, then rinsing before serving. Soaking the meat in milk for several hours, or overnight, will also pull some of the blood out of the chops. Rinse the milk and excess blood off the meat before cooking
I love lamb and actually crave it. I like it best on bbq.
Ah well, liver stinks too but I love the taste. I've had lamb roasts made by other people but I've only ever made lamb burgers myself. But I didn't notice a bad smell. Maybe it was the bones because they got really hot. Bones stink when they burn.
you're supposed to let the meat rest for at least 5 to 10 before cutting it. just trying to help. Love your channel. you guys are so funny
Thanks for the tip!
Roast it in the oven guys, you should go plant based! Good luck.
That looked good good job
That's repulsive! ... Yeah, we're gonna eat it. LOL, you guys crack me up. 😅
😂
Leave the fat on and cut off after cooking if you don’t want it. But you should eat the fat too.
That lamb looks sooooo yummy!
Try it with garlicsalt, pepper and rosemary- yummy
We’re still not doing spices as they come from plants…but we might add them back in later! First experimenting with none then seeing how things change as we add them back in but at least we’ll have a baseline
if u put garlic, salt nd pepper on them, throw them on the bbq, baste with butter....u will crave it😊
and..i only eat australian lamb
Needs mint sauce
Mint sauce for sure
Mints a plant so not really part of the diet.
Pepper also comes from a plant
@@tracyforister3207 ok 👍
We don’t use pepper right now…But we do have coffee 😆 that’s our only plant right now (most carnivore dieters use coffee or tea)
Boa noite StevenSteph! Que tudo de certo em sua vida! Que Deus te abençoe! Fica com Deus! Que tudo de certo no seu Dia a Dia!
Try a pot roast on your grill, taste great
I don't eat meat on the bone and I don't eat any fat that is on meat. And besides that I'm not even a big meat eater anyway and when I do eat it I'm extremely picky about it. I don't think this diet would work for me but I very much enjoy watching your videos about it.
Thanks for watching GO TIGERS
@@StevenSteph 🐅🧡🏈💜🐯
Lamb smells nasty!!! When my husband wants it I have him grill it so my house doesn’t stink for the day
I could not go on a diet that eliminated several food groups
Why? It's super easy.
Lamb is so gross. I haven’t eaten it for 30 years. No thanks.
Do you guys still get meat from that place? The carnivore crisp like meat box? I think that's who it was through
Yes! Just got a box in! Code STEVENSTEPH will get you a discount if you need one! ❤️💃🏼
I like kamb but only have it in a restaurant cos i dont like the smell cooking it either
Ohh 😂 stinky, but good 😅
😂It stinks. Well, we are going to eat it. All said with a straight face. I think variety is the spice of life. I think the reason why you guys are so successful on this diet is the different foods you try and most importantly, you do it together. Keep up the good work, guys. 😊❤
Good point! I’m laughing now because of how you said it. We are going to eat it, with a straight face 😅🤣
Thanks! We’ll try it so you don’t have to! 😆😆
Kelli those paint brushes and oil paints are very expensive new. My Daddy was an Artist before passing way and he used a lot of oil paints and he was a big fan of Bob Ross we spent many Of Saturdays watching him.. My Daddy would say he was the best of any artist that he had ever seen. He also said he was the best teacher, better than any college professors that he ever sat under...
I cook mine in a skillet in butter on high heat. About 4 minutes on each side. But mine are usually cut into individual lamb chops
I really think the smell was your air fryer.
Hello enjoy love hugs maxine from nh and fan❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😍
If lamb is cooked properly it is tasty.
Why did you trim the fat off of the lamb? If I’m following correctly, though this brain of mine has trouble sometimes, you eat the fat on other things. Is lamb different? I’m trying to decide if I can do this diet or not. Thanks and good job on keeping it up. ❤️
I don’t know--I wondered that myself but the recipes I read all said to do it so it must have to do with the way it cooks or something? 👩🏼🍳
Maybe it was not fresh, I cook lamb a lot and never smelled bad, well I use garlic and rosemary :-))
Hubby love lamb but I cannot stand the smell
Cooking it outside was perfect! 😆😆
Steph and Steve, just a fair warning. When doing carnivore be mindful of (I know....but here goes!) Your bowels. Yep, I said it. I do alternating carnivore one month, extremely low carb next month ( only whole foods nothing processed, I grow and cook it myself if at all possible). I do one month rest with some whole grains like irish oatmeal. But still lean towards low carb/carnivore. I do this for inflamation and feels like a gazillion allergies. I can tell you I feel 1000 times better physically, just have to watch my weight. I am already tall and thin. But please pay attention to you bowels. Carnivore can be real tough as in you wont go. You will back up. It can put you in hospital! Trust me! That is why I rotate with one month carnivore, 1 month lots of green veggies low carb with carnivore. Yep, I care enough to put that on the interwebs 😂❤❤❤ good luck and you just have to find your groove, where you feel healthiest and get best results.
Ok thank you! So far so good with us now that the 2 week mark has passed! Been pretty regular! No constipation thank goodness knock on wood
Watch Anthony Chaffee. He's a Dr. He says if you're constipated your not eating enough fat. You have to find a balance.
😊😋
U guys are on to it love lamb a New Zealand girl that was the Sunday roast treat 🤔🏊♀️🦘
Hi Steve Steph and Puddy looks so good and I don't even like lamb!! Blessings your friend Joyce Hugs 🫂❤😅
I’ve only eaten lamb or beef tongue and neither stinks. It’s actually very very tender and eat it in a taco with diced tomatoes, cilantro, sweet onion optional.
I have never eaten Lamb, and now with all the ugly faces Steph made, I doubt I will ever try it. And I know I won't if it smells like a farm.
You two are so funny. Love you both. God bless.❤🙏🙏❤
LOL just cook it outside and all is well 😆
I've never cooked lamb,,but good to know it's stinky,,lol time to turn the fans on,,lol OK, gotta get an air fryer now,,does Puddy get a bone? Now I'm hungry,,,lol
I could smell it all the way from the eadt coast 😂 but looks tasty
Cook meat with salt only .we BBQ meat just with salt on n time to time rub the fat of meat on meat so it remain juicy.
N the result is heaven
You should save your bones and put them in the freezer. After you get enough boil them and make bone broth
We do! I’ll be showing that in a video soon how I make my bone broth
I dunno how people enjoy Lamb, it tastes the way it smells. Stinky 🤢
Have you had the carnivore bread yet made from ground chicken?
Not yet but Steph said she was going to make some
Yeah I can’t get past the smell to ear it.
Wow too much salt.
❤❤❤❤
🙂🙂🙂
Lamb good on the bq ❤
I marinated in Italian dressing and cook it on the stove and do not smell like that
You need to use the fat WITH the meat!!
Haha yeah. Lamb smells.
I can’t eat it, smells like what the animal smells like when cooked - hopefully that makes sense.
Do you foresee doing this carnivore diet for the long haul, or is it just a short term trial? You may eventually get a hankering for fresh bread and butter, etc... Either way, I'm enjoying watching your journey.
Butter is carnivore. Not bread.
Not sure yet! Just experimenting and we’ll play it by ear (and lab results!) so far so good!
Nope. All I can do is picture sweet little baby lambs. I don't eat babies if I am aware of the fact. Don't come after me. If I didn't feel awful after not eating meat for a few days, I would so avoid it. It's a conundrum for me.
LOL I can’t think of any of the animals we eat 😆
Which Ninja air fryer are you using? Thanks
You should smell tripe when they’re cooking 🤢 (cow intestines)
I have 🤢
I find lamb always smells, I can’t stand it.
bones make your meat have more flavor. Looks delicious!
Steph, wouldn’t flies be allowed on the Carnivore Diet?!? 😂
😂😂
How do you make your bone broth?
Nope nope nope. This is a NEVER try it diet!!!!!
Where did you find this Carnivore Diet, please?
Dr. Sean Baker, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Anthony Chaffee are all great places to start.

Cannot stand the smell of lamb, the taste is awful too 🤢
👍🥰😍🤩⭐♥️🐾
Oh, I love lamb. I'm sure this isn't on your diet, but we always pan fry our lamb. My mother always insisted that the last 3-5 minutes of cooking, you put a drizzle of honey on one side, then flip and honey on the other side. The honey takes away any gamey taste. It can have a gamey taste otherwise. Lamb funk is what we call it. If it stinks bad, it may be mutton, not lamb, or you just aren't used to it. Mutton just stinks. Also, I will not eat lamb unless it is medium well-well done. In restaurants they serve it medium rare and bloody lamb to me is disgusting. (I can eat beef medium rare no issue but lamb is different). Basically either brown (but tender) all the way or just the slightest hint of pink is how I prefer it. Bloody lamb is so gross. You lamb bones should be fine esp if mixed with beef bones in broth. Lamb stew is amazing. Looks like you cooked it perfectly.
Can you not season or marinate the meat other than S&P❓❓❓
Yes you can but use garlic pepper onion but separately not in a season mix as most times they contain sugar or other additives not carnivore.
We could…but we’re doing a strict version of carnivore to begin with and we don’t use plants (with the exception of coffee and tea)
Why have you boiled it? This is why it smells so bad! You should of put it on roasting. I've never boil lamb in my life! No wonder it was smelly 😂😂😂 mx
Broil not boil 😆
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi guy's that smell and the bone's would had turned me off😂
😂😂
It looked yummy, I’m not a fan of lamb.
I’m not a fan of lamb. It just has a weird taste to me. It looks good but nope.
