Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb solo cover played on a Strat

- I have had alot of people telling me that it´s a no-go to play Comfortably Numb on a Les Paul. So here´s my cover of the solo from Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd - Played on a Strat
This solo is completely describing the beauty of the Stratocaster. I was the one who probably demanded this piece from him like so many times.. and at the end it worths really.. that was really well played guitar solo.. Les Paul was even great but this is something more Gilmourish. Very well sir, you played it really well just like you did many years ago it was even more enjoyable. Enjoyed this piece and will enjoy this piece time by time..
wise words dude I also requested this solo from him many times from my old account thomas is really one of those old youtube gems who posts after long times but it really worths and his guitar skills are way more skilled than other guitarists thomas you are the best guitarist those bends are really great.

This is probably the 2° most badass comfortably numb solo cover. Just behind your video playing in a Les Paul. Keep rocking mate!!!

Tone, timing, rakes, bends, virbrato, harmonics, double stops, staccato…. And on the strat…it’s all there! Exquisite! 👍🏼

I think I just traveled to a different dimension. This was so breathtaking and to be able to see you play this close up and see you feel the music and your body lean into the guitar like you were becoming one with it was beautiful.
Easily the best cover I've heard and I've heard a LOT. It amazes me how the first solo sounds so sweet and the second solo is so haunting. It's amazing that those solos are in the same song.

Just revisited the LP version. I love them both. This one sounds more authentic to the original but I like the LP tone more. Beautiful either way!

Just stumbled on your vids.
Too many young guitarists today don't appreciate the subtle difficulties of a solo by Gilmour. I've been playing for 30 + yrs and it's tough to nail these solos.
Just a little sharp or flat on all the bends in his solos and it sounds like garbage!!!!
If you don't pick up on the other subtleties of his picking and muting etc, also it sounds like garbage.
10 out of 10 Dude !!!!
I can play these solos but only one in ten tries do I pull it off really well. It's a lot harder than it looks!

There’s no rule against playing this solo with a Les Paul . Be you and be original. I honestly think Gilmour would have no problem with you using a Les Paul .
