Well done mate, that wasn't too bad, truck looks and sounds great 👍
Thanks, yeah for a 25 year old wagon it went really well, which I'm pleased about with all the work I did to it before hand! Sounds lovely with the Eminox on.
Brings back memories this does. An R reg EC11 was the first artic I drove after passing my test 20 years ago. My boss made me driver it for a month before I drove anything else. Im not going to lie I don't miss it. It wasn't as in as a good condition as yours is.
Glad to hear, I do think that they were well up there for how they feel and drive at the time, but as always I think alot of them still didn't get looked after very well by drivers. I'm very lucky with how clean mine is I have to say!
Over the moon for you mate well done, all that hard work paid off mate,
Yeah it's come on lovley, I'm well happy with how it did for an 25 year old wagon that's had a working life it flew through.
Good job Phil 👏 well done bud , nice to see the ec,s still on the road
Thanks! I'm happy, time to get it polished up and out to play
My son loves erf we went to Gaydon resto truck show last September o took a daf tractor unit cvme truck hire like watching your video best regards mate
That's brilliant to hear, I want to get to Gaydon but all depends on my funds haha. It's about 4 and half hours down the road from me so costs abit in the old diesel. If your coming to Lincoln come say hello 👍
My son got his class one and 1st class one driving job starts today I was European driving now retired
I remember Peter cook transport up your way
Well done mate. You need a trailer now so you can pull some weight and really hear that Cummins in all its glory
Oh I know! I really want to get a trailer, a nice old stepframe for the F7 and the Scammells maybe, just lack of space and funds stopping me. Maybe one day mind!
Funny when you watch a video and u know exactly the place the video is taken place at. if i pass my class 1 next week hope i can get a job at Elddis
Good luck! Hope it goes well. Who are you doing your HGV with? I did mine with Twinway HGV down the road.
@@ThePhilBilly Tyneside Training Services, have the fun of driving thru Newcastle thru school and rush hour. Passed the 3A on my first day. I think I have my 4A tomorrow and driving test Thursday.
Also love the truck, hope one day get to drive a manual Tractor unit
@@jackhetherington6457 ahh yeah I know TTS, I went to college there, I'm sure you will be sound. I love a manual but also love the new autos cos they are so bloody easy
@@ThePhilBilly the autos in the MAN trucks are slow as out tho. Could have my foot down for 2 to 3 seconds before anything happens
HI PHILL JUST STARTED TO RESURECT EC11 CELECT WITH A 465 CUMMINS BITS FOR THE RESTORE ARE HARD TO GET
There's a few people you can use, like Paul Parker, he breaks them and Cheshire truck spares, he's very good at getting new parts for them. He supplied all my air bags for mine and very reasonable prices!
thanks for the info been at it all day and have discoverd rats nest under the bed and have been chewing wires got it fired up and runs great the real work starts cant get a front screen up here.
@@arthurthomson I'm sure you will get it sorted, good thing is they are pretty simple when it comes to wiring really
Might as well give it to me 😂
You wish 😉
Well done, just keep on top of the little jobs before they become big jobs
