Excellent video. A showman in a neighbouring village still runs two ERF EC10s. Ones an 8x4 Walzter car lorry and the other is a 6x4 rigid curtainsider that's used to carry a generator and pull their 'Odeon Tagada' ride. They have a third ERF EC10 8x4 waltzer lorry that was withdrawn over a year ago. It's currently for sale. Can hear their ERFs from quite a distance away.

To get the disc off, which direction should I turn the adjuster? Clockwise or Anticlockwise I’m about to replace the rear discs and want to make life as easy as possible, it’s difficult to see which direction you’re using the screwdriver. Otherwise an excellent video, Thanks

Hi, does it matter if the resistor is secured in the hole, my one sits inside of the hole, but can wiggle around if you move it. Think the hole itself is damaged

This is a great video with a lot of information about it. The water pump does not necessarily need to come out. Because they go higher mileage, some original pumps on Volvo engines go well beyond 200000 miles. You check for signs of leaks and the ball bearing by spinning and listening to the noise. If the pump is spinning normally without any shaking or noise, then leave it.

I've rebuilt 2 Matchless (AJS are the same different badge) loads of spares available but manuals non existent. My G80 had the weirdest timing setup, lets see if I remember this correctly, full advance was 7 or 9 degrees btdc, what you had to do was the usual find tdc on the firing stroke, turn back to 7 (or 9?) btdc, then go half a revolution fwd on the crank (180 degrees) before setting the gap on the magneto, weird? but that's the way, if I remember correctly (I've done so many bikes)

What an incredible legacy. I bought an identical Panther in London in 1971, but only had it for a few weeks, and someone stole it right off the street. As a Canadian student, I had not thought it necessary to lock it up. What a shame! That dbl adult side car was certainly extra special! Cheers, from Robin, Montreal. PS. Mines just went but works on setting three and four. 2014 Polo.. happened at same time as petrol light went on so thought it might be something to do with low fuel but release that's just stupid
