    In this Ollie dog food review, we'll cover everything you need to know about this fresh food option - based on my REAL experience feeding Ollie to my own dog, Remy.
    You can also read our written review of Ollie here: bit.ly/3ghWBZO
    In the article we discuss in more detail Ollie dog food cost, ingredients, pros, and cons.
    About Ollie:
    Ollie is a human-grade dog food service that prepares semi-customized, freshly prepared dog food for your pooch and delivers it right to your door. The food contains real meats, veggies, fruits, and other bonus superfoods, with no artificial preservatives or additives.
    All recipes are designed by vets, and the food is made in the USA with minimal processing.
    Many owners find that upon switching to Ollie, their dog's show significant improvements, such as:
    - Shinier, healthier coat
    - Improved digestion
    - Less odorous, more solid poops
    - Reduced skin issues and itching
    The downside is that Ollie is an expensive, high-end dog food - luckily we've partnered with Ollie to give K9 of Mine fans 50% off - just use this link to get your discount! olliepets.sjv.io/bLdZb

    Our dog has severe IBD and won’t eat most foods
    So far with Ollie he hasn’t skipped a meal and we have different flavors to switch up when he gets bored with a flavor.

    My boxer is 11 years old and taking medications for her heart arrhythmia. She also has fatty lumps and what appears to be pyoderma on her arm. I am hoping this helps her! Thanks for your informational video, it has helped me in my food search for her.

    If you’re having trouble with your pups health (possible allergies) stop feeding anything that has chicken in it as chicken is the cause of 90% of allergies in dogs, this should help. Also try adding fish to the meals as fish tends to help with allergies.
    For those in the comments if you’re Australian and looking for an Australian version I highly suggest Lyka as it’s very similar and just as good. Plus they offer a half bowl plan so I feed my pups half Lyka half scratch (scratch is an Australian dry food made by local Australians who had really bad trouble with finding a healthy dry food that wasn’t filled with toxic crap).

    So if my total for my first box is $35 im not understanding if they are charging me $35 EVERY WEEK or is it $35 every 4 WEEKS?

    • @K9ofMine
      @K9ofMine  2 роки тому

      I can’t say for sure without seeing your screen but I’m assuming it’s $35 per week.

    Hi! I just got this food and I’m not sure how to transition between the recipes (chicken, beef, turkey). Can I switch flavors like every day? And once I introduce her to all three recipes, can I just switch the recipes daily without having to mix the two flavors?

    • @K9ofMine
      @K9ofMine  3 роки тому +2

      That's a really good question Allyson. I would say you probably should stick to one recipe at a time, and finish a single recipe before switching to another. The recipes are quite different ingredient-wise, so unfortunately to limit any tummy troubles it does make sense to sick to one recipe and slowly integrate to the next recipe as you go on.
      I'd also suggest trying to observe how your dog responds to each recipe. Does he seem less itchy on the beef vs the turkey? etc.
      Hope your pup enjoys Ollie, I know my dog sure did!

    Why can't they just give a simple price per oz ? Theres Always a scam

    • @MRNS3REN1TY
      @MRNS3REN1TY Рік тому +1

      It’s not a scam cause I just got my order in today it’s really good I wasn’t sure if my little dog was going to like it but he does. I mean a dog will eat anything lol but legit Bro the packaging is great.

    Started with Farmer's Dog then tried Ollie, here's how it went. My maltese babies, well one if them is pickier than picky, so we were using farmers dog and the first shipment was great, my babies ate it and it was great. So the next ones start coming in and my poor babies stopped eating it and I noticed we started only getting mostly broccoli and watery liquid. It was just mostly chunks of broccoli stem stalks. The food from farmers dog aesthetically does looks better than these at Ollie to be honest. So we switched from farmers dog because my dogs can't live off of broccoli so I really hoped this Ollie stuff looked better and tasted better than it looked, yikes!! **** update Ollie was a disaster. Everyone of my packs were sliced open on my very first delivery so every bit of that dog food had to be trashed and wasted. I cannot believe they have that piss poor quality control JUST SAY NO TO OLLIE and now I'm back looking for a new quality company

      Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with Ollie! Open dog food is definitely not the norm - have you reached out to them about it?

      I'm using farmers dog and haven't seen any change in the recipes. I'm so sorry to hear this because it's difficult enough to get a picky do to transition and find something they like. i do have to say that should anything like that happen to me, i would not hesitate to contact the company. i have communicated with them quite a few times and they are very responsive. they have a lot of customer service reps who are extremely helpful. they will ask for the batch number under the label to address any complaints. they are nothing if helpful and efficient. I've figured out that all of these lightly cooked companies are very good, and it will boil down to finding what's best for your dog and you!!I wish you the best!

      Um.. mine were perfect lol.. either you had a really bad and rare first experience and are jumping to conclusions based on that or you’re secretly trying to destroy the fresh dog food industry one comment at a time 😂

    • @K9ofMine

      No because I really prefer to feed my dog via puzzle feeders, which usually require kibble.

      I just found kibble to be so much easier. And I like being able to give my dog puzzle feeder toys for meals.
